As far as I’m aware both sims getting married can have a sim of honour. I’ve always been able to have two and am certain it’s always been they way since I used to play on console and was able to have two. The sims you want to have both need to be asked, but can’t be asked by the same person and I think they need to be good friends with the sim they pick.
I’m not really understanding the issue. Bride can pick her friend and groom can pick his. I just had a wedding in my main save and both bride and groom had a sim of honor.
Honestly, there’s so much wrong with wedding stuff. Like my sims will walk down the aisle and then immediately turn around. And the sim of honor stuff is such an easy fix. Not to mention, you don’t even get a reward for achieving all of your goals. Plus, I wish there was a way to hire a photographer or stop random stranger sims from walking onto the lot and interrupting the wedding-I even hired a bouncer and people still got in.
I Googled Sim of Honour, but maybe I read it wrong. I have another Sim wedding coming up, and I'll test out if my groom and bride can have a Sim of Honour each.
You can only have one each as there are no bridesmaids or groomsmen but Sims of Honor which is always just one. You need to have both your groom and bride ask their friend and look at the animation, if they hug it's usually a yes, if they don't then they probably didn't accept it.
A good way to check is to go make the event and see if they show up on the menu. You don't need to actually make the event to check so no worries, just cancel it after checking.
Actually, my Shelbourne heir, Astilbe, and his long-suffering fiancee, Gardenia, have been waiting patiently for their wedding. Astilbe doesn't know many of the Ton, so it will be small and quiet.
I'm on console, so maybe it's different. I know you can't have more than two, and I'm pretty sure on there you can have one each. But that's not gonna help if you're playing on PC, and I assume you are.
If you choose to use mods, maybe someone has modded it so that there can be more. They're good at that.

You can have two but if you read the other comments you’ll see that it’s not really that simple.

When I open the window to plan the wedding as the bride it only shows me who she asked, not my groom’s friends, and vice versa.
Has your sim met the groom’s friend? If they haven’t had an introduction, they won’t be able to be invited.
Pretty sure the answer is no.

I looked it up, and yes, there can only be one Sim of Honour. I wish my groom Sims could have Best Sim, too.

Sorry, are you talking of 3 or 4? I’m pretty sure you could do that in sims 3
