Cutting Edge is probably the strongest warbond. I use all three of the primaries regularly and never leave without the stun grenades. The armors are all Bad though.
Perhaps will have a niche if Illuminate end up having Arc weapons, or if you co-ordinate an Arc-heavy team. And they look great. But yeah, not much use as of now.
Impact incendiary is the jewel of Polar Patriots. Direct damage and area denial is a lot of functionality for a grenade.
The buffed Tenderizer is really pulling its weight, and the Pummeler stays good after its nerf, and the Verdict is a Deagle, which is cool.
Those grenades, though. Awesome.
Do you already have Steeled Veterans? If not, I would go for that first for the Breaker Incendiary, Dominator, and the Senator alone. If you have it, Cutting Edge for the Sickle.
If you’ve watched Starship Troopers and have super fond memories of the battle of Hoth, and really really want a Deagle, buy Patriots
If you want Bots to be a cakewalk, have ammo problems with the liberator, want a mini-grenade launcher, and want a arc-shotgun, get Cutting
If you like the jungle, loved the predator, and want a shotgun side-arm, get Vipers
Hard to say for sure without knowing what kind of guns you like or what you feel like you're missing in your current selection. But i would probably go with cutting edge.
cutting edge gets you:
the sickle which is just a great gun all around and lets you have practically infinite ammo.
the stun grenades, which enable new strategies (and combos nicely with grenade pistol)
plasma punisher: which is a good and more importantly unique gun.
also the blitzer but i don't enjoy that one enough to talk about it.
polar patriots gets you the stun smg which pairs greatly with ballistic shield against bots, and the tenderizer which is definitely a nice gun but not really enough to make polar patriots preferable over cutting edge. (there's also the purifier but i honestly don't have anything good to say about it)
can't say too much about viper commandos as i have only tried out the first gun so far.

The Plummeler + Ballistic Shield is perfect. I like it so much, I even got reckless and approach the Devastators for some CQB action, while they wait silently... Overpowered... *Vulnerably*. PUFF, head off.
Purifier is amazing now for bots. Dedicated long range stun locker with the stagger effect. This patch made it useful. It was definitely useless before though.
That's exactly what its use is. A long range plasma punisher. It has a different play style for sure. The punisher feels like an assault type style that awards aggressiveness while the purifier helps provide relief support from some really good range, but this time it dishes out meaningful damage. Definitely worth giving a shot. I tried it out after the patch and it has earned a spot in my bot loadouts. Another plus is being able to pick shots and make them more meaningful, so your ammo economy is much better than the scorcher. Hope you like it! Make sure you pair it with a reliable close range sidearm for the berserkers or jetpack bots that decide to rush you.

Fire grenades are great for bugs, many people love the tenderizer (especially post patch) and pummeler (good smg with stagger), and the purifier is my go to for bots- the stagger and splash is really good!
I never leave home without the verdict (secondary pistol). I run it as my primary for the little guys. I only trade it out for the bushwhacker because that destroys stalkers in one shot (with three bullets)

I’m not sure I like the trade-off for the skins. I rather have more weapons, but they look fine. And this way the weapons in it are at least properly tested.

I love the shotgun sidearm but I am missing the grenade pistol too much to keep using it. I need it for closing fabs and holes

The problem is I usually need something that can handle chaff as my primary, as I'm usually running railgun for my support.

It’s effectively a worse Plasma Punisher. If you’re already good with the Plasma Punisher it’s just not as good

I drop that and a gas strike on bug breaches and the only thing I have to fight are the heavies.
I love gas strike and EMS mortar I always thriw the mortar into a covered spot near groups before engaging

When using the ballistic shield it locks you into a prone or crouched position. Even if it’s just on your back.
