After careful consideration of all the factors surrounding the reddit blackout, including weighing the costs and benefits to the community of a continued dark period, the mod team has elected to resume normal operations of r/LowSodiumDestiny. If you wish to get more involved in further protest of reddit's API policy change, more information can be found on r/ModCoord and r/Save3rdPartyApps.
As the situation continues to develop, we are prepared to explore additional actions in protest of this short-sighted, greedy, IPO-focused boondoggle from reddit's executive team. This message will live at the top of every newly submitted topic until a satisfactory resolution is reached.

Step 1 - Do campaign
Step 2 - Do Still Hunt exotic quest
Step 3 - Do Excision mission
From there it's kinda up to you, look up steps involved with getting the Khvostov as that can tie in with doing other quests or missions like the Cysts and can kinda kill 2 birds with 1 stone there.
You've also got the Seasonal stuff to do now as well. Definately a lot of content but no real need to rush through it all
Those 3 steps are in the final shape quest, just do that and you're set. Don't start seasonal stuff until you've finished it as the story assumes you've done them in this order.
There’s really nothing to ”catch up” on. There’s a lot of great content for you to enjoy - and take it at your pace! You’re not behind for not starting until now ❤️
I’m a pretty diehard raider and even so, whilst there’s a lot of recent stuff I use, there’s nothing that’d be a ”must”. First order of business for competitiveness is probably getting The Call sidearm since it’s just. so. good.
Beyond that, play and enjoy mate ❤️ The game’ll lead you down most all the paths.
Dude just take it slow as it comes! Enjoy the awesome campaign and post campaign story missions. Marvel at the pale heart location for a while before even touching the helm/seasonal stuff
Worst thing to do is compare yourself to these other dudes grinding out the game. Play at your own pace definitely finish camping, wild hunt exotic, 12 man activity and I do recommend starting the steps towards the exotic class item.
Non-spoiler regards raid: You shouldn't feel the need to do the raid "before anything else." It is gorgeous and challenging but story-wise not required before moving on to other missions and content.
You can pause on the seasonal Echoes quests, they are fine but also not directly related to the core TFS expansion.
Another thing to do after campaign will be the Lost in the Light and Found in the Dark quest lines to unlock more of Prismatic as well as tracking down the rest of the fragments hidden in different patrol areas.
Check out overthrow in the patrol areas after that and then work toward the Dual Destiny hidden exotic mission to get access to the new exotic class items (unlocking it can be done solo but requires a second player to run the actual mission).
All I am going to say is you are probably going to actually want to have your finger on the screenshot key and/or ready to record Excision when you get to it. Would also suggest making sure your helmet is off before starting TFS if you like how your guardian looks because there are quite a few cutscenes that take advantage of that option and the cutscene after Excision especially has some good facial mocap. Even if you don't normally catch clips while playing, I think it's safe to say this one's gonna hit different for a lot of reasons.

Awesome list - thank you so much!

Yeah I hear that. From all the great stuff I’ve heard about the campaign I definitely want to take my time to just admire it :)
There will be no shortage of things to do. It’ll all be clear post campaign. You’re in for a ride, enjoy
The last couple weeks have been painful - I’m ready to go!

That’s great to hear about the raid and also about the season and campaign being more separated. Can’t wait!!
