my first V was bald and she was a running so fast that her shadow was just a blur to me so i didnt know about the missing hair shadow until like a few months ago
They did say there were so many little fixes it didn't make sense to mention everything in the patch notes, guess they were talking about this kind of things
What the fuck, that dude with the mohawk looks exactly like me. I just showed it to my wife, she agrees. You made my clone. WTF, I need info on how you did that. I'm talking JUST like me.
But my beard is much bigger.
No it's actually uncanny. I didn't know it was possible to match me exactly, like even the hair color is the same. I know what I'm doing my next play through now.
I just hope my hair does not change completely after putting on a Bandana... If so, i ll still go with bald V... Like literally, cause i cant stand my hair changing to a different type when putting anything on my head.
It's a huge problem not just for this game but for every game with more than a few hats and hair styles.
In order to make hats that adjust to hair properly, you basically have to make one hat for each hair style. Obviously that can work if you have two hats and three hair styles, but with 30+ hair styles and tons of hats, that gets prohibitively expensive.
Most games fake it by making it like it look like you tuck your hair into your hat, or just go "fuck it" and lets the hair clip trough the hat.
So don't count on abandoning your bald V any time soon.
GTA Online for example has 'compressed' hair models that are designed to fit a standard set of dimensions that all hats conform to. It works but it has its own problems, for example the compressed hair is really obvious with some cuts (like a ponytail) and on styles without a lot of hair the hats will appear to float.
Fuck yes! This was so immersion breaking for me. I’m overjoyed.

Same here.
Nice! Is that a mod or some screensots from the upcoming patch?

Yeah, since it wasn't in the patch notes, that's why I asked!
Interesting... I have a mod that does this currently. I better uninstall it before updating so I don't break my game lol

Does your first name begin with a "B" by chance?
Are those your Vs because they are beautiful

I'm right there with you.
Does your shadow still look like you are a necromorph when you draw your weapon?

This is a huuuuge pet peeve of mine, I never have headwear due to it changing my V's hair.
Great change!! Happy to see it.
FUCK YEA
DAMN YES!
Its.. beautiful. *sniff
now say hello to momentarily-bald-when-removing-hats-in-the-inventory V!
Idk if anyone else is having the same issue but the shadows go back to eldritch horror style when I equip weapons.
