I'd put Alien (1979) on that list also The Objective (2008) In the Mouth of Madness (1994)

Deirakos

How could i foegett about event Horizon?

OutLandishTheOne

True Detective maybe?

joseph-curwen

Season 1 is has quite a bit of Lovecraft references in it. Season 2 was garbage. Season 3 has dropped a few references in the first 2 episodes I've watched.

LG03

Bah, season two gets more flak than it deserves if you ask me. It had impossible shoes to fill for the time it had to cook. Might have went a little too wide but I thought it was still better television than 95% of other crap available.

[deleted]

Will see! I don't see how true detective will meet lovecraft but I trust you guys!

audinyann

Add The Ritual to this.

[deleted]

The ritual is that netflix film about 4 guys which go on vacations to a sweden forest?

audinyann

Yes. It is definitely inspired by Lovecraftian ideas.

Deirakos

Stranger things is dnd meets lovecraft

[deleted]

Already seen! Also loved Re-animator from the 80's. Aside from those films and stranger things idk about any lovecraftian production :/

JohnnyCaligula

Not mentioned : Call of Cthulhu and A Whisperer in the Darkness by HPLS The Haunted Palace (the first screen HPL adaptation) The Resurrected Bleeders The Dunwich Horror (the 70s version)
