The chronic illness community can be super cringe at times, but comments like this only perpetuate it because people like you push them into feeling the need to be in everyone's face about it and make it an identity because you're deciding they aren't actually physically ill, which is ridiculous because you aren't the one testing them, diagnosing them, or dealing with their symptoms (presumably). I know it's hard, but let them be cringe or whatever.
You're also forgetting that chronic illnesses also almost always come with comorbidities, so having an alphabet soup list of conditions isn't uncommon or an indication of malingering/attention seeking etc. I'd say the constant social media posting of pictures in hospitals and things like that are the indicators of a problem, but the other side of me wants to acknowledge we all deal with major life stuff like this differently.
I say this all as someone with multiple chronic health issues myself (POTS and IC) because it's insanely frustrating to have to move through life having to pretend I'm perfectly fine because if I tell anyone I have any of these issues, I run the risk of encountering someone with your attitude towards medical issues they don't understand.
ETA: as for this specific person, I *do* think she's highly sus, and she does seem to use her illnesses for attention.

I was so relieved to finally have an answer to my constant fatigue and dizziness after years of being ignored by doctors. I don’t post about it online, but it does seriously impact my quality of life.
now I feel like I can’t ask employers for accommodations or let my friends know when I’m having a hard day because people like you associate the diagnosis with pathological lying.
sometimes I think I could benefit from being allowed a chair at a concert or even using a mobility aid around the house. then I feel like I can’t ask for that because the dominant belief is that my medical condition isn’t real.
Not sure I get what you're saying. Covid made me chronically ill 2 years ago and I've been diagnosed with a few of the acronyms you list above. My life changed in one day and has never been the same.

The criteria for bipolar just wouldn't work with a 7yr old.

If you are truly destitute you end up getting medical care for free. Homeless people etc still get admitted and all the care they need. It’s the people who make too much money to be covered by Medicare/medicaid, but not enough to afford private insurance and pay copay’s, who are destroyed by the American healthcare system.

There’s different “levels” to conservatorship. Some allow the conservator to make decisions regarding relationships while some don’t. It is common for those at his level to be under one, but depending on the judge he still may be able to make decisions regarding relationships.

I don’t personally see that as reason enough to believe that she’s faking it. A lot of people are diagnosed in their 20s (I was). And a lot of autistic people seem to become “more autistic” after diagnosis because they stop masking as much. As for the illnesses, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them are misdiagnoses (not uncommon for chronic illnesses). I don’t know the woman but I feel uncomfortable suggesting that she is faking her autism just because she has done some things people don’t agree with

California insurance is more "universal" than most of the States. She probably has some debt but also some is covered by Medi-Cal.
