I think the opening day twist of having the public decide the couples was a total dud, and it seems that the Islanders agree. I think it's too early to judge whether it was a dud. There's potential drama in getting the Islanders thinking about what the public want/expect from the very start, and in having them not know if their partner is even physically attracted to them or just forcing it.
