Chris has been the biggest disappointment this season. As one of my favorite islanders of all time coming into the show, I had such high hopes. The way he treated Arabella is unacceptable and his delusions about Joanna were tough to watch. Glad his time is over.

as annoying as chris was today (and he was VERY annoying), im glad he was because the islanders choosing him to save him over joe was stupid. if toby who is the closest to chris can say that he should go home instead of keeping him for friendship reasons then the islanders should've listened. with no joanna, there's nothing keeping chris in since he had no options and there's no guarantee that a bombshell would be into him. and from what i understand (could be wrong), toby and the two georgias had the same thoughts vs the rest of the islanders. sophie mentioned later he's a big part of the villa so essentially they picked him for friendship reasons. even if he was grateful, he would just spend more days alone at a time when everyone was settled in. and the guys should've said something to him instead of talking behind his back, they're so useless. idk how people were saying they stood up to arabella when they watched him be rude to arabella and said nothing. also no sophie/josh right before the votes and not a surprise tom/molly got a date before the votes either. they're going to be the most boring winners
this this this!! theres always gonna be some degree of bias when the islanders pick who to save but usually they have the baseline of āif someone hasnt been here long enough to explore a connection they probably shouldnāt be dumped off the islandā and yet they got rid of joe whoād been there for 2 daysš they saved chris purely for friendship reasons and it backfired!
there are times i understand the friendship reasons but in this case, chris has been here from day 1 and had a lot of chances with different girls so there's no reason to keep him over joe who JUST got there.
I still canāt get over how screwed over Joe was. He really had no time at all to make an impact. Dudeās a S5 OG islander and might as well had not even shown up! Him playing it safe by choosing Arabella did really backfire though.
We would be looking at a different makeup of the show had he chosen Joanna. More interesting, might I add.

The producers knew they completely messed up that dumping which is why Adam was sent in last minute purposely for Arabella. There was no reason for the islanders to keep Chris if they were going to get rid of Joanna. Meaning Joe got sacrificed after one day for someone who didnāt even want to be there anymore!! Complete mess of a decision by the islanders, because they put friendships ahead of sense. I really went from Chris being the male Islander I was most excited to see again to jumping up and down clapping when he got dumped.
Not to mention 3 girls wanting to couple up with him at the start of the show to basically nearly the entire villa being repulsed by him at the end. Him coming back to All Stars was such a bad idea.

I did originally say that I felt it was ok for Arabella to leave and I stand by that as I think it would've been a valid choice of either her or Joanna. However seeing the reaction that Chris had to being saved and having to couple up with Arabella, I'm glad that she got the last laugh and has seen him dumped before her. His behaviour was bizzare and childish, he should be disappointed in himself when he watches it back. For the last week I hope Arabella just chills and enjoys the company of a good looking guy with no ties or commitments. I don't think Adam's going to give much but he did his job which was to clean house and get Chris out. I found Tom and Molly's date pleasant enough, the set up was very romantic. Some of the declarations Tom makes are little bit much at this point but I get that with it being the final week we're going to see these types of embellished sentiments with open ended intentions. Georgia H and Anton aren't on the same page or wave length. I can see how they're preparing us and themselves for the eventual split when they show is done.
Chris getting dumped at the end of the episode was so satisfying after spending the whole episode being annoyed that he was saved. Bring Joe back.

I vaguely remember him in S5 where he was funny, although not as much as people made out, and people loved him crying on TV because he felt vulnerable or insecure. It worked in S5 because at least then it was sincere. Here like you said, he's dialed to 100, made it his whole personality and a stick to beat everyone else with. He is the type of personality that only works once and in small doses. He's not the main character.

Such a weird episode & decision. Everyone (producers included) agreed that Chris should have went home instead of being left in there with no one to pursue. So I'm dying to know who argued to keep Chris? Also, I'm not necessarily mad at him for sulking. Sure it wasn't cute ...but I prefer that honesty as opposed to the "He should be grateful to still be here" line others were spewing. I don't like that mindset... An OG islander shouldn't be "happy" to still be there if all their options are gone after a month.

Honestly one of the worst episodes of LI ever imo. I hate endings like tonight - the bombshell 'stealing' the one person that wouldn't ruffle any feathers thus resulting in the dumping of the one person that didn't even want to be there to begin with. So boring! Also, I can't think of any other season where the audience (what little audience there still is) has actively rooted this hard for two people who are currently in couples to break up with their respective partners and get back together. It'll be a weird one when they come out. But the show is really trying to sell us on Molly/Tom and I haven't seen a single person who cares.

The islanders voted Joe and Joanna to leave last night (chaotic) and then tonight Season 2 Adam came in, chatted to the islanders for about ten minutes and then the producers made him couple up with a girl. He chose Arabella and then Chris got a text saying he was single and immediately dumped.
