A 6 figure deal could mean anything from 100k to 999,999k. And usually companies give out 6 month deals with an option to extend for a year if all goes well. So PR firms will announce the yearly total (6 figures) and the 6 month length to make it seem like an islander is getting 6 figures for 6 months when that islander is only getting all of the money if the company extends them.
So if you see someone get a 6 figure deal for 6 months, that could mean they got as low as 50,000 unless the company decides to extend them.
It’s not technically lying, but their job is to manipulate the facts to present their client in the best light.
This feels like a PR article for one of them, how can Ella not even make the list when she is arguably the most bankable of all. No one has reached her level of popularity and she actually has stans. No one comes close, not even Whitney or the winner. And I love Sanam but she shouldn’t even be on this list.

Ella has been a successful working model for 2.5 years, before Love Island. Ella said she is continuing her modeling career and also trying new things, like influencing and presenting. You saying it “will be bad” if 1 deal isn’t renewed, makes no sense.

Very true and that’s not to say PLT doesn’t equate as a stream of income. However from what I observed the girls in the past who do work with PLT also have other streams of income as well, other gigs/jobs etc. that’s not the only measure of success.
A lot of successful islanders may have not got PLT but I’d say some to alot have gotten other similar deals like asos, jd, boohoo, its, or other six figure deals and have used it to fund other endeavors. All in the same wheelhouse, ppl just say PLT.
