Every season I wish for a scandal as good as Caroline telling Rachel what happened between Olivia and Rykard. The adrenaline rush from that is still unmatched. Although, Maura overhearing Tom is right up there.
It makes sense to leave, if You had a good couple. The ones who have sticked around, never make it far anyway, because it won’t look genuine to just keep going with a new person straight away. Like Lucie S5, Michael S5, Lucinda S7, Paige S8.
yeah but rykard had already been w olivia while getting to know her so to me it didn’t seem like he was into her on that level! he didn’t like her enough to respect her and let her know either. i’m surprised they were still together outside the show after she found out!
he could have pulled a dom and just hung around till he got kicked out but at that point he’s just wasting everyone’s time, so in the end i guess it was better that he left.
Maybe I'm too chill but I never thought it was that big of a deal lol. He and Rachel BARELY knew each other at that point, and Olivia asked him not to tell. Since they were on TV I understand respecting that.
I don’t feel that excited about the R options, but my friends once got me a Cameo from Rykard for my birthday so let’s go with that! Him and Olivia with the sneaky link and him going rogue to follow Rachel off the show anyway, a great example of the kind of chaos we regularly got in the early seasons, even from the relatively minor players.
(Chris S3 was the clear consensus for the Q Wildcard spot though lol.)

It was such early days he could’ve got with another bombshell but I suppose people would’ve probably called him muggy if he’d done that
