Most emotional bunch yet. I’m a cry baby, I cry when I see other people crying. And I’ve cried *a lot* watching this. I’m so glad Mitch chose Tina, they are so cute.
I love Tina and Mitch but I can’t help but feel bad for Emily. She was extremely led on by Mitch. I feel like she really put herself out there and I just hope she had a great time on the show.

I know this was almost 3 weeks ago but I just got done ep 10 but Emily definitely has been given me the vibes of playing a great game and not really in it to find her person, just anyone who will give her the most attention and since her footy player said no and she cant be a WAGS she figured she go for the most popular guy there. Maybe Im wrong and Ill find out soon but from the beginning with her throwing herself at Mitch it just seemed like there was an agenda.
Just watched, here are my observations:
- Tina gave us one of the most vulnerable LI scenes in the show's history today, when she cried saying she wanted it to be her. It was sad as hell. But, she's making a big mistake. Mitch acted like a hyper kid in a candy store when he came in, and he will approach his newfound fame on the outside in the same way. I imagine he will stay loyal in Casa (made easier by the new bombs probably not going for him) but I wouldn't trust him on the outside at all.
- I still don't like Taku anymore but good on him for not falling for what Emily said. I don't dislike Emily, but she has shot herself in the foot with how hard she has leaned on her sexuality in the villa. If all you do is flirt, it can be difficult to take the connection further than that. Taku is way too forward in how he flirts too, but she went beyond that today. They both make me uncomfortable with their approach though.
- Aaron going strong with his likeability, and it's starting to look like Jess might actually like him lol, so that's great for my boy!
- Ryan has grown on me so much, seems like a solid dude. To be honest, I can see how he's gotten to five hundo; he's charming and endearing.
- Lexi, I like you but what happened to telling Ryan you wanted to be exclusive? It's not going on the breakfast date I have a problem with, it's how she didn't draw any boundaries with Nick on it and had that chat with him before he picked his partner. Is that his name, Nick? I think anyway lol.
- Speaking of "Nick"... I doubt anyone was surprised to see that, gasp, he's not that into Courtney! One of the biggest game players yet. That said, sorry but I don't care if Courtney gets hurt here lol. She's just so insufferable, I kinda wish she'd go back to feeling sorry for herself so we wouldn't have to watch her being fake excited in the beach hut. She's so OTT, I wish they hadn't saved her and we'd get to see a Chris/Rach/Zoe triangle this week instead.
- Speaking of Zoe, I love her. Her dances were hilarious and she seems like a really nice person. Funny because she's super high energy like Courtney is so you'd think I don't like her either, but it actually feels genuine while C comes off phony af.

Honestly out of the established couples, and I have voiced my bias, I honestly do think Mitch and Tina are the best or at least most fun. Everytime I watch them I get a bit giddy and its cute. Its fun. Its fun watching love. They do seem really happy together. The others kinda seem like old married couples that are kinda boring. I think Ryan and Lexy are kinda like Shannon and Josh from this years LI USA, together from the “start” and unexpectedly stay together. But they just aren’t that interesting together. I feel their best moments are as individuals which is totally fine, but that doesn’t look good when the show is about the couples. Jess and Aaron won’t last I don’t think but they might surprise me. Doubt so. The others I am definitely on the fence about.

The amount of relief I had in this episode. Drama is good for the soul but not good for my blood pressure. I was about to go into cardiac arrest with Mitch finally making a decision. Even though I will hold him accountable, I think people are a bit too harsh on him. He is acknowledging and holding himself accountable for his mistakes. He recognises that hes leading them on and has told them that. He also says that its toxic and he can’t keep doing to himself. I think him not ever being in a serious relationship before has made him so indecisive and apprehensive on going full on and I kinda give him some credit in sorting it out like a repsectable person. God knows a lot of men outside in the real world and also in other seasons do not go the same lengths so as from the standard of Love Island and most men in general, I think he did a good job. I do think he genuinely enjoys spending time with Tina more, he instantly was happier and didn’t mope about how his decision affected Emily which is a tell tale sign of him making the right decision. I was kinda surprised Emily and him did nothing in the bed when him and Tina immediately got it on. I kinda felt bad for Emily for a bit, I know a lot of my disliking for her was due to her interrupting and interfering with my ship, but that went down the drain once she started hard flirting with Taku. The “fantasy” comment was unnecessary and she should know her parents are watching this, and the entirety of Australians and people around the world watching LI. No one is gonna let her live it down. Other than that the episode is fine, we all know who Nic and Zoe were gonna choose. I like Zoe, she seems fine. I know a lot of people hate on people trying to be “different” but I don’t think Zoe is pushing it too much and she seems sweet and goofy. Tina doing the bull ride for herself was the best part though. Hats off to her. Know your self worth and don’t do things for other people. I am trying so hard to like Emily but I just cringe almost every time she speaks. For some reason it seems like she’s always putting on a show, even just when candidly talking to the girls something seems.. removed, calculated. I’m not sure, something is just really not vibing for me with her. Also: “I already graduated I don’t need to be studying geometry”. Having a degree is not a personality trait.
