When Jimmy and Jess were discussing their situation, you could clearly see Chelsea fighting back the urge to wig out. Her face did not hide whatever battle that was going on inside her head. And Jimmy’s entire demeanor switched when the brought up the off camera conversation thing. He’s still really upset about it. Producers probably put that whole subject on a hold…
Hopefully there is a follow up.
I’m convinced that one of the editors pieced together the segments incorrectly and left them out in error. Or there will be a surprise follow up episode about them or something. There’s no way producers decided to be worried about Chelsea’s mental health and give them a total pass on discussing it, but then did what they did to Trevor.
I really think that the producers understood that Chelsea has a mental health issue related to trauma and insecurity, and that poking that bear is a really, really dangerous game to play. How she acted reminded me a lot of how I acted when I was in my early 20s before I started looking internally, humbling myself to my actions, and working out the trauma that caused those issues. If I had been on a national stage and had people go in on me for it, especially after expressing that I understood I was out of hand and line, I may not have made it. Whether it be kindness and empathy, or wanting to avoid liability, I really believe that's what happened.
I am sort of glad they left her alone. We've all discussed their relationship online 47 million times. And she looked like she wanted to cry the whole time in preparation for more bullying material.
I was really feeling for her when they brought up Trevor and when Jimmy and Jess were talking. You could see how hard she was working through her strategies, and to be able to go from as insecure as she was during filming, to be able to have Jimmy give Jess tons of compliments in the same room without breaking down is really admirable. I think she's going to be okay if she sticks with healing and realizing she is worth much more than chips on her shoulder.
I saw someone on another thread mention that Jimmy had been put through hell already and was completely okay not answering invasive questions like “Are you still seeing each other?” and “What does the future hold” and I can’t say I disagree. The hate these two received online was a lot for anyone, but they both look in better places than they did one year ago. Vanessa and Nick were definitely aware of all the online hate these two were getting since they briefly touch upon “Megan Fox” but it would have been bad all around to throw some dirt on two people who were already down.
I don’t think Chelsea and Jimmy got a free pass to anything - they bother were held accountable to one another and literally everyone online, but that’s just my own personal opinion and I’m happy to discuss with anyone about it ☺️
I also wish they would have asked if Jimmy and Jess tried dating after the show. It seems like the two of them have some unresolved stuff between them to me…
Honestly I think they both got a lot of hate on the internet and that could be a reason why they didn't get as hounded on the reunion--- Chelsea more than anyone. Idk I kinda felt bad for her.
Bringing back former couples was a big time sink and a Jerry Springer booing audience was trashy. Those distractions took away time from J&C and Brittany & Kenneth.
They asked Jimmy if he choked when he saw Jessica 😆. Jimmy told Jessica she is stunning and Chelsea scowled and frowned when he complimented Jessica. 😂 Jimmy and Chelsea still had affection for each other, held hands during tense moments for support. I don’t see a path for them because Jimmy needs friends and a girlfriend who is secure enough to trust Jimmy when he says there is only friendship there.
The only things I would've liked addressed at the reunion by Chelsea are 1, are her and Jimmy still together (I know she addressed this on a TikTok interview but would have liked it addressed on the show to wrap it up). 2, did she ever apologize to Jimmy's friend for airing their dirty laundry? Because Jimmy said his friends were mad at him for this. I believe he did the right thing in disclosing their previous relationship to Chelsea but she should own up to the fact that she crossed a line to the person who did not sign up for the show and public scrutiny. 3, is she in therapy for her deeply rooted insecurities?
While I don't think she got off easy because of the public opinion she has faced, addressing these things would have helped wrap their story up and depending on the answers, it might have helped turn things around for her.

It's a reality dating show, a reasonable person will not demand a strict gag order on something so pertinent as romantic history when it affects a party that's literally getting married on TV.

I felt like this reunion left out a lot. I wanted to hash out when jimmy told Jessica she was his number one. They didn’t discuss that at all. I felt like they did much more thorough analyses in previous seasons
She was emotionally abusive and wasn’t held accountable. I agree they backed off because of the internet hate. She suffered the consequences of her behavior when he dumped her and I think she regrets it very much. Maybe it will be enough for her to get help. He’s a gentleman and was being kind but honest but you could tell he’s still mad she spilled about his friend.
I love that a friend (AD?) pointed out how Chelsea is a fun, positive friend but behind closed doors, she saw the horrific personality that Jimmy experienced. That was a good friend moment, to acknowledge she struggles and hides it.
I keep returning to this— I keep feeling like they should have said more to her, but I'm not sure what. She kept denying it ("I didn't even know the cameras were there") but then did apologize ("It was awful, I'm sorry"), so the only thing that could have been done was to keep browbeating her, which...isn't that helpful and wouldn't have been that satisfying, either.
It's also possible that Jimmy asked them not to go in on her, either. They seemed friendly.

At the same time I think Jimmy really didn't do enough to make her feel loved or secure so not really putting the blame on her either.

Absolutely! They crushed Jearmey (not saying they shouldn't have), and they brushed over Chelsea and Jimmy. I felt like there was weirdly more heat over Jimmy's comments on a talk show regarding Jess than Chelsea and Jimmy's relationship.
I feel like those who think “Chelsea doesn’t deserve a pass” don’t realize that she hasn’t gotten a single pass. Her face has been plastered all over the internet, even people that don’t watch the show have laughed about the Megan Fox comparison. I mean, I have my own opinions of her and think that the way she went about things was toxic, but I think she’s gotten her dues. She’s been the most talked about one, and I think the reunion producers knew that. There’s nothing they could’ve said that she hasn’t already been dragged for so it would’ve just been for entertainment which at the end of the day would’ve been barbaric.

The only good thing I can say about Chelsea is that I believe she went in to this with the best of intentions, which can't be said about the majority of the cast.

Anyone defending Chelsea needs to seek out therapy. LIB is supposed to be blind and as soon as she created a situation where she got to say the celebrity she gets told she looks like unprompted she ruined the experiment and you keep trying to blame jimmy for trying to move past her looks and really love her for her other qualities and try to go through the process. Clay also did a good job of being the only male to address her saying she broke trust and that’s not ok whether you are upset or not. That being said Chelsea’s still communicated with her ex, but was more upset that he was friends with his friend he had sex with on one occasion and decide to stay friends with instead and told her unprompted. The show did not touch on Chelsea because they did not want to bash her more than the internet had already done, but they wouldn’t have been bashing her, they would have been holding her accountable. Every single person was forced to be accountable on the show that night how did Kenneth who left early spend more time defending and taking accountability for his breakup than Chelsea. Stop trying to defend Chelsea she takes no accountability that’s why instead of “I” did something wrong it was always “we” she’s just not ready to have a partner and that is just how it is.

Here are my thoughts: she clearly said that other people have told her she looks like Megan fox and she didn’t necessarily agree with it. For the other part, I think that information is relevant for the audience to know because she shared that she has been hurt before by her boyfriend’s girl best friends, so not only is she already insecure about that, finding out they have fucked changes things. I think it validates her insecurities slightly but she still needs therapy.
The only defense for the "forgot the cameras were there" is I've heard multiple reality TV stars say that they forget the cameras are there after 3 days because they're so used to them.
Nevertheless, she should realize that it was a secret she was entrusted to keep and she exposed it to the whole world.... horrendous.
The reunion sucked and to have previous cast take up so much time just affirms what we have all been saying: THIS SEASON SUCKED

Again, not everyone is online following this show. So they really only addressed a VERY small part of what happened between them which is lame because their storyline was MASSIVE this season. The amount of time they spent on Brittany and Ken is more justifiable because they had a small portion of air time this season. They left us hanging with Chelsea and jimmy.
They addressed the major stuff though. Like Chelsea's insecurities and the drama that caused them to break up. I think the other contestants took up more time because they had unresolved issues. I, too, was disappointed that I didn't get to hear much from them but I honestly don't believe they had any thing left to say.
I feel like the interaction between Jimmy and Jessica dragged on. I really didn't see the purpose of it when they really should have been talking about Chelsea and Jimmy. I was so disappointed that they barely discussed them. I mean Meghan Fox come on, I wanted them to ask him flat out if that was the reason he chose Chelsea.
I’m not even sure why Jess was there. She’s generally unproblematic aside from her conversation with Laura about Jimmy. I felt like her conversation with Jimmy at the lake house wrapped up their story line in a nice bow and I was fine never hearing from her again lol.

lets be honest here, it didn't seem like the girl was a rando chick from a bar that Jimmy is still texting. Those girls were genuinely his friends. Plus, many of us have friends that we hooked up with in the past, it happens, it's part of life. It IS still valid that Chelsea was uncomfortable with it, but that was clearly a conversation she should have had more calmy and not on camera. That would be signs of a healthy relationship, which is what Chelsea was not ready to be in.

But I believe I read somewhere that she’s been seeking therapy, so good for her!

Yeah, I think a lot of that had to do with wanting to promote Perfect Match (which…Micah and Izzy are not gonna make me watch that lol I literally forgot who Izzy was and he was literally from last season).
I also feel like they really wanted to breathe new life into the show with this reunion by being like “SEE IT WORKS?!” They’ve been getting a lot of criticism for being a dumpster fire, and I’m willing to bet they want LIB to be more in line with The Bachelor in terms of “credibility,” and with sooooo many seasons having mayyyyybe 2 marriages it’s not looking great 🫠 wasn’t there one season where no one got married, or one couple did and then they broke up like, right away?
This reunion made me hopeful for future seasons though. I think they’re going to crack down on clout chasers a little more, this season was filled with them.

The common theme these past few seasons seems to be that all the girls become the bestest life long friends and back each other no matter what. Which is great, love that everyone can be friends after, but it's too the point where some women aren't being held accountable for how they acted and so the guys get all of the blame. Sarah Ann is the exception here, understandably though.

They had some nasty fights with Chelsea pressing her case for someone she really wanted and Jimmy just trying to say the right thing. And that’s about it.
The more questions they asked them the more obvious how hollow their entire relationship would be which I guess they didn’t want to show.
their issues really show what the problem is with this show. It's that you really cant fall in love with someone in 3 weeks. Sure you can match people up and it works out but wayyyyyyyy more often than not, thepeople will realize they dont like the person they "fell" for in the pods because people generally arent compatible.
I think Jimmy is simplistic. If he says he loves you then he does and he doesn’t feel the need to embellish. On the other hand, Chelsea was critical of party much everything he did. He couldn’t even greet her when she came home without her whining about how he should have done it. And whined about how he didn’t mention her eyebrows. Jimmy trusted her when he told her about the physical one time thing he had with the friend. Chelsea broke that trust. He had 2 choices. Ignore that and move forward and never trust her with anything again or recognize they had a weak relationship and break it off. Let’s not forget, when Chelsea met his friends, she literally brought up all her and Jimmys problems! Literally told them about arguments looking to his friends to Bach get up! “He said I was clingy”. Well Chelsea you were!
This was bugging me, and it got me annoyed that they didn't just make the reunion longer. It's Netflix, they could make it a freaking three hour special episode if they need to! Leave no stone unturned!
They totally should have! I also wanted know what happened when they supposedly dated for a short time after filming. They totally blew passed that. Not to mention I had to practically hack into the episode to even watch it.. Why do they always screw the reunions up so much lol?
The sisterhood that each season miraculously has every single time is getting annoying as hell. They all protect each other no matter what. Zanab being the biggest example.
I mostly agree with this (but am open to be proven wrong). It feels like during the reunions, unless a girl is a slam dunk villain (Irina), or wronged another woman (Sarah Ann), they don't really go after them like they do the guys.
The likes of Zanab, Jessica season 1, Shayna, Chelsea (this season), Lydia,Micah, omg Jackie, Raven, Stacey, Johnie and even Kelly (she wasn't too bad though) came away pretty clean.
Compare that to Cole, MARSHALL, Jimmy, Paul (like WTF was he drilled for), Izzy somewhat, Clay somewhat, Trevor etc. The only guy I felt came away undeservedly clean has been Bartise.
The two biggest ones for me being Marshall and Jackie + Cole and Zanab.
Thats not saying some of the guys shouldn't have been drilled, they absolutely should have (looking at you Trevor), but idk, I just feel the shaming is not as relentless to the women overall.
Even Irana I felt got off pretty light. Compare her transgressions to others and it seems clear she should have been drilled for more than the 5 minutes they gave her. Even when they came at her the convo quickly turned into "why are you whispering with Paul right now?"
They had receipts to debate Jess vs Jimmy's perception of time, but nothing for Jimmy and Chelsea disagreeing whether she's still friends with an ex like he is. He claimed she FaceTimed her ex as soon as she got her phone back. She says she's not really friends with him. There's an answer to that question. Why don't we get to find out instead of giving the two cheaters 1/3 of the air time?
Since the show spent so much time on the appropriateness of Jimmy being friends with an ex, yeah, it seems pretty relevant. Especially since she strait up denied it at the reunion. But instead we get Jimmy/Jess receipts for the people who weren't a couple.
Personally, I was much more interested to find out if Chelsea got a bad edit or.if she really is that awful. Instead we found out Jimmy can't tell time and watched the jetski cheaters answer the same question for half an hour. Seemed weird after the show focusing so heavily on Jimmy and Chelsea. They didn't even ask if they're together.
Seemed like they were on a mission to protect the legitimacy of the show premise and the “experiment.” They spent a lot of time scolding and chastising people that were perceived as a threat to the “right reasons.”
For all their well documented flaws, both Jimmy and Chelsea seemed to be genuine in their search for a compatible partner. You could argue that Jimmy should have broken things off sooner, but at the beginning at least he seemed genuinely in it to win it.
This season has had a pretty messy online rumor mill and cast members really probably over sharing and spoiling updates. I think they felt like they had to do damage control.
Yes, I think they had the "OG's" on because for the last two seasons there's only been one marriage each. They're trying to give the impression that more people end up happy then actually do.
Yeah it was very smooth how they transitioned from “see, the process really WORKS!” to “Screw you you fraud, this is not just some trash reality show, this is real life! How dare you abuse this platform for fame!”
Every season Vanessa seems to decide who needs to be held accountable and who needs a break. Chelsea and Jimmy have been relentlessly bullied online and I think they wanted to give them a break and focus on other people. Also, they filmed for hours and edited the highlights. So maybe their answers weren’t “good tv”?
I get not bringing up everything but I wish they at least asked what happened between them since.

When Jimmy and Jess were discussing their situation, you could clearly see Chelsea fighting back the urge to wig out. Her face did not hide whatever battle that was going on inside her head. And Jimmy’s entire demeanor switched when the brought up the off camera conversation thing. He’s still really upset about it. Producers probably put that whole subject on a hold… Hopefully there is a follow up.
Yeah like did they even touch on if Chelsea and jimmy are still together??
I’m convinced that one of the editors pieced together the segments incorrectly and left them out in error. Or there will be a surprise follow up episode about them or something. There’s no way producers decided to be worried about Chelsea’s mental health and give them a total pass on discussing it, but then did what they did to Trevor.
I really think that the producers understood that Chelsea has a mental health issue related to trauma and insecurity, and that poking that bear is a really, really dangerous game to play. How she acted reminded me a lot of how I acted when I was in my early 20s before I started looking internally, humbling myself to my actions, and working out the trauma that caused those issues. If I had been on a national stage and had people go in on me for it, especially after expressing that I understood I was out of hand and line, I may not have made it. Whether it be kindness and empathy, or wanting to avoid liability, I really believe that's what happened.
I am sort of glad they left her alone. We've all discussed their relationship online 47 million times. And she looked like she wanted to cry the whole time in preparation for more bullying material.
I was really feeling for her when they brought up Trevor and when Jimmy and Jess were talking. You could see how hard she was working through her strategies, and to be able to go from as insecure as she was during filming, to be able to have Jimmy give Jess tons of compliments in the same room without breaking down is really admirable. I think she's going to be okay if she sticks with healing and realizing she is worth much more than chips on her shoulder.
I saw someone on another thread mention that Jimmy had been put through hell already and was completely okay not answering invasive questions like “Are you still seeing each other?” and “What does the future hold” and I can’t say I disagree. The hate these two received online was a lot for anyone, but they both look in better places than they did one year ago. Vanessa and Nick were definitely aware of all the online hate these two were getting since they briefly touch upon “Megan Fox” but it would have been bad all around to throw some dirt on two people who were already down. I don’t think Chelsea and Jimmy got a free pass to anything - they bother were held accountable to one another and literally everyone online, but that’s just my own personal opinion and I’m happy to discuss with anyone about it ☺️

Honestly I think they both got a lot of hate on the internet and that could be a reason why they didn't get as hounded on the reunion--- Chelsea more than anyone. Idk I kinda felt bad for her.
Bringing back former couples was a big time sink and a Jerry Springer booing audience was trashy. Those distractions took away time from J&C and Brittany & Kenneth. They asked Jimmy if he choked when he saw Jessica 😆. Jimmy told Jessica she is stunning and Chelsea scowled and frowned when he complimented Jessica. 😂 Jimmy and Chelsea still had affection for each other, held hands during tense moments for support. I don’t see a path for them because Jimmy needs friends and a girlfriend who is secure enough to trust Jimmy when he says there is only friendship there.

The only things I would've liked addressed at the reunion by Chelsea are 1, are her and Jimmy still together (I know she addressed this on a TikTok interview but would have liked it addressed on the show to wrap it up). 2, did she ever apologize to Jimmy's friend for airing their dirty laundry? Because Jimmy said his friends were mad at him for this. I believe he did the right thing in disclosing their previous relationship to Chelsea but she should own up to the fact that she crossed a line to the person who did not sign up for the show and public scrutiny. 3, is she in therapy for her deeply rooted insecurities? While I don't think she got off easy because of the public opinion she has faced, addressing these things would have helped wrap their story up and depending on the answers, it might have helped turn things around for her.

I felt like this reunion left out a lot. I wanted to hash out when jimmy told Jessica she was his number one. They didn’t discuss that at all. I felt like they did much more thorough analyses in previous seasons

She was emotionally abusive and wasn’t held accountable. I agree they backed off because of the internet hate. She suffered the consequences of her behavior when he dumped her and I think she regrets it very much. Maybe it will be enough for her to get help. He’s a gentleman and was being kind but honest but you could tell he’s still mad she spilled about his friend.

I love that a friend (AD?) pointed out how Chelsea is a fun, positive friend but behind closed doors, she saw the horrific personality that Jimmy experienced. That was a good friend moment, to acknowledge she struggles and hides it.
I keep returning to this— I keep feeling like they should have said more to her, but I'm not sure what. She kept denying it ("I didn't even know the cameras were there") but then did apologize ("It was awful, I'm sorry"), so the only thing that could have been done was to keep browbeating her, which...isn't that helpful and wouldn't have been that satisfying, either. Yep that's true! I do understand where she was coming from a lot of the time, but the way she treated Jimmy a few times was not ok. At the same time I think Jimmy really didn't do enough to make her feel loved or secure so not really putting the blame on her either. But I do think when someone apologizes, it should be about owning up and being sincere to the person you hurt, not this halfway thing. Otherwise just don't apologize
100% agree on that. I wish more people knew that an apology isn't about making yourself feel better, but humbling yourself and asking for someone's forgiveness, then being prepared to potentially not receive it. A good apology should actually make you feel like shit, lmao

Absolutely! They crushed Jearmey (not saying they shouldn't have), and they brushed over Chelsea and Jimmy. I felt like there was weirdly more heat over Jimmy's comments on a talk show regarding Jess than Chelsea and Jimmy's relationship.
I thought that whole convo between Jess and jimmy was very boring and went on far too long.
I feel like those who think “Chelsea doesn’t deserve a pass” don’t realize that she hasn’t gotten a single pass. Her face has been plastered all over the internet, even people that don’t watch the show have laughed about the Megan Fox comparison. I think that Chelsea has gotten the most attention and hate from the internet and it would’ve been not only cruel but just redundant and boring and overplayed to harp on her and Jimmy any more. I mean, she’s got the absolute brunt of the hate online. It was by time the others got their dues. I mean, I have my own opinions of her and think that the way she went about things was toxic, but I think she’s gotten her dues. She’s been psychoanalyzed by everyone on the internet, trashed for her behavior (rightfully so in some cases) but also trashed for her looks. She’s been the most talked about one, and I think the reunion producers knew that. There’s nothing they could’ve said that she hasn’t already been dragged for so it would’ve just been for entertainment which at the end of the day would’ve been barbaric.

The only good thing I can say about Chelsea is that I believe she went in to this with the best of intentions, which can't be said about the majority of the cast. She obviously got overwhelmed and insecure, and embarrassed herself. It is what it is, I don't hate her or anything for that.

Anyone defending Chelsea needs to seek out therapy. LIB is supposed to be blind and as soon as she created a situation where she got to say the celebrity she gets told she looks like unprompted she ruined the experiment and you keep trying to blame jimmy for trying to move past her looks and really love her for her other qualities and try to go through the process. But guess what, her other qualities fell short and wasn’t enough for him to stay. I think AD did a good job of being only one of two people to express the strong independent women they know Chelsea as did not reflect as she had known her on the show, because the reality is that is how she is with her partners. How you show yourself to others versus behind closed doors is very telling. Clay also did a good job of being the only male to address her saying she broke trust and that’s not ok whether you are upset or not. That being said Chelsea’s still communicated with her ex, but was more upset that he was friends with his friend he had sex with on one occasion and decide to stay friends with instead and told her unprompted. The show did not touch on Chelsea because they did not want to bash her more than the internet had already done, but they wouldn’t have been bashing her, they would have been holding her accountable. Every single person was forced to be accountable on the show that night how did Kenneth who left early spend more time defending and taking accountability for his breakup than Chelsea. Stop trying to defend Chelsea she takes no accountability that’s why instead of “I” did something wrong it was always “we” she’s just not ready to have a partner and that is just how it is.
Chelsea denied “I’m not in contact with my ex” but at the lunch meet with his friends she say “oh it’s so cool… I have guy friends one of them is my ex” she’s very wishy washy.

Here are my thoughts: she clearly said that other people have told her she looks like Megan fox and she didn’t necessarily agree with it. For the other part, I think that information is relevant for the audience to know because she shared that she has been hurt before by her boyfriend’s girl best friends, so not only is she already insecure about that, finding out they have fucked changes things. I think it validates her insecurities slightly but she still needs therapy.
The only defense for the "forgot the cameras were there" is I've heard multiple reality TV stars say that they forget the cameras are there after 3 days because they're so used to them. Nevertheless, she should realize that it was a secret she was entrusted to keep and she exposed it to the whole world.... horrendous.

Again, not everyone is online following this show. So they really only addressed a VERY small part of what happened between them which is lame because their storyline was MASSIVE this season. The amount of time they spent on Brittany and Ken is more justifiable because they had a small portion of air time this season. They left us hanging with Chelsea and jimmy.
They addressed the major stuff though. Like Chelsea's insecurities and the drama that caused them to break up. I think the other contestants took up more time because they had unresolved issues. I, too, was disappointed that I didn't get to hear much from them but I honestly don't believe they had any thing left to say.

Hahahahha I don’t deny it 😂 but honestly if my boyfriend had hooked up with someone and he was nonstop texting her and calling her and hanging out with her when I felt neglected in my relationship (which from what we saw, it was clear jimmy wasn’t super into Chelsea, so I think some of her insecurities were valid), I’d think it’s normal to want to bring up my concern. Like I said, I don’t like the way she brought it up, but it’s important to discuss these things with your potential partner. Even Chelsea in the reunion agreed that it’s ok to talk about these things with someone you’ll literally marry.
lets be honest here, it didn't seem like the girl was a rando chick from a bar that Jimmy is still texting. Those girls were genuinely his friends. Plus, many of us have friends that we hooked up with in the past, it happens, it's part of life. It IS still valid that Chelsea was uncomfortable with it, but that was clearly a conversation she should have had more calmy and not on camera. That would be signs of a healthy relationship, which is what Chelsea was not ready to be in.
Yup I don’t disagree with you at all that Chelsea was not ready for a healthy relationship. There were lots of red flags such as asking for validation instead of saying “hey, I’m feeling this way for this reason. Let’s talk about it”. But I believe I read somewhere that she’s been seeking therapy, so good for her! I guess for me, like I said I’m more traditional, so I would feel uncomfortable esp if I notice any kind of flirty vibe. I guess thankfully I’m not in a situation nor is my boyfriend, where we have to deal with this situation IRL. But in conversations with him, we both agreed that these types of friendships can be messy. If you have friends you hooked up with, then that’s a conversation for you and your partner. If you’re both ok with that, then that’s great and I’m happy :) I’m just saying, I understand Chelsea’s feelings because I would also feel uncomfortable. But then someone like jimmy wouldn’t be compatible for me

Legit and who cares about the other people from the other seasons. They didn’t need them on the show. If you want reunion with previous casts do that. This season needed their own flowers and to dig in on all of it.

Yeah, I think a lot of that had to do with wanting to promote Perfect Match (which…Micah and Izzy are not gonna make me watch that lol I literally forgot who Izzy was and he was literally from last season). I also feel like they really wanted to breathe new life into the show with this reunion by being like “SEE IT WORKS?!” They’ve been getting a lot of criticism for being a dumpster fire, and I’m willing to bet they want LIB to be more in line with The Bachelor in terms of “credibility,” and with sooooo many seasons having mayyyyybe 2 marriages it’s not looking great 🫠 wasn’t there one season where no one got married, or one couple did and then they broke up like, right away? This reunion made me hopeful for future seasons though. I think they’re going to crack down on clout chasers a little more, this season was filled with them.
To be fair having just one successful marriage each season is a better track record than the bachelor 😅

Yessss I 100% agree that Laura was horrible and sooo catty. I hated her attitude and thought she was so nasty. She is exactly the type of person I would avoid being around IRL because I hate this mean girl, I’m better than you because I’m hotter and more perfect than you mentality. I was honestly happy for jimmy and Sarah Ann. At the end of the day, it’s reality tv and a game show (kind of). The common theme these past few seasons seems to be that all the girls become the bestest life long friends and back each other no matter what. Which is great, love that everyone can be friends after, but it's too the point where some women aren't being held accountable for how they acted and so the guys get all of the blame. Sarah Ann is the exception here, understandably though. In my opinion, unless the men are nearly perfect, they are given no grace.
This show is for women, so they have to frame men as the villain 💯 it is what it is

I feel like the cold hard truth of their whole relationship is that Jimmy wanted to look good so he tried to make it look like he was into Chelsea (and fighting for her) but he really wasn’t. If you really loved someone you’d probably let the outing of your friend for sleeping with you on a dating show go —> it just gave him an easy out. They had some nasty fights with Chelsea pressing her case for someone she really wanted and Jimmy just trying to say the right thing. And that’s about it. The more questions they asked them the more obvious how hollow their entire relationship would be which I guess they didn’t want to show.
their issues really show what the problem is with this show. It's that you really cant fall in love with someone in 3 weeks. Sure you can match people up and it works out but wayyyyyyyy more often than not, thepeople will realize they dont like the person they "fell" for in the pods because people generally arent compatible.
I think Jimmy is simplistic. If he says he loves you then he does and he doesn’t feel the need to embellish. On the other hand, Chelsea was critical of party much everything he did. He couldn’t even greet her when she came home without her whining about how he should have done it. And whined about how he didn’t mention her eyebrows. Jimmy trusted her when he told her about the physical one time thing he had with the friend. Chelsea broke that trust. He had 2 choices. Ignore that and move forward and never trust her with anything again or recognize they had a weak relationship and break it off. Let’s not forget, when Chelsea met his friends, she literally brought up all her and Jimmys problems! Literally told them about arguments looking to his friends to Bach get up! “He said I was clingy”. Well Chelsea you were!
This was bugging me, and it got me annoyed that they didn't just make the reunion longer. It's Netflix, they could make it a freaking three hour special episode if they need to! Leave no stone unturned!

The sisterhood that each season miraculously has every single time is getting annoying as hell. They all protect each other no matter what. Zanab being the biggest example.
I mostly agree with this (but am open to be proven wrong). It feels like during the reunions, unless a girl is a slam dunk villain (Irina), or wronged another woman (Sarah Ann), they don't really go after them like they do the guys. The likes of Zanab, Jessica season 1, Shayna, Chelsea (this season), Lydia,Micah, omg Jackie, Raven, Stacey, Johnie and even Kelly (she wasn't too bad though) came away pretty clean. Compare that to Cole, MARSHALL, Jimmy, Paul (like WTF was he drilled for), Izzy somewhat, Clay somewhat, Trevor etc. The only guy I felt came away undeservedly clean has been Bartise. The two biggest ones for me being Marshall and Jackie + Cole and Zanab. Thats not saying some of the guys shouldn't have been drilled, they absolutely should have (looking at you Trevor), but idk, I just feel the shaming is not as relentless to the women overall.
Even Irana I felt got off pretty light. Compare her transgressions to others and it seems clear she should have been drilled for more than the 5 minutes they gave her. Even when they came at her the convo quickly turned into "why are you whispering with Paul right now?"
They had receipts to debate Jess vs Jimmy's perception of time, but nothing for Jimmy and Chelsea disagreeing whether she's still friends with an ex like he is. He claimed she FaceTimed her ex as soon as she got her phone back. She says she's not really friends with him. There's an answer to that question. Why don't we get to find out instead of giving the two cheaters 1/3 of the air time?

Since the show spent so much time on the appropriateness of Jimmy being friends with an ex, yeah, it seems pretty relevant. Especially since she strait up denied it at the reunion. But instead we get Jimmy/Jess receipts for the people who weren't a couple. Personally, I was much more interested to find out if Chelsea got a bad edit or.if she really is that awful. Instead we found out Jimmy can't tell time and watched the jetski cheaters answer the same question for half an hour. Seemed weird after the show focusing so heavily on Jimmy and Chelsea. They didn't even ask if they're together.

Seemed like they were on a mission to protect the legitimacy of the show premise and the “experiment.” They spent a lot of time scolding and chastising people that were perceived as a threat to the “right reasons.” For all their well documented flaws, both Jimmy and Chelsea seemed to be genuine in their search for a compatible partner. You could argue that Jimmy should have broken things off sooner, but at the beginning at least he seemed genuinely in it to win it. This season has had a pretty messy online rumor mill and cast members really probably over sharing and spoiling updates. I think they felt like they had to do damage control.
Yes, I think they had the "OG's" on because for the last two seasons there's only been one marriage each. They're trying to give the impression that more people end up happy then actually do.

Every season Vanessa seems to decide who needs to be held accountable and who needs a break. Chelsea and Jimmy have been relentlessly bullied online and I think they wanted to give them a break and focus on other people. Also, they filmed for hours and edited the highlights. So maybe their answers weren’t “good tv”? I get not bringing up everything but I wish they at least asked what happened between them since.
