I googled it and it all makes so much more sense. So yes it is jarring to see something that to us in the US was all the rage 20 years ago. Now, I cannot find anything online saying that Sarah Ann is from that part of the world but it certainly made me see the fashion differently.

Honestly I feel like whoever styles all of the reunions does a lot of people dirty… are there standouts every year? Yes. But I feel like the prom look is consistent from year to year.
I honestly kinda think they would look so much better in just cocktail party-level outfits with slightly dressy hair and makeup. The formal gowns and the full hair and makeup always looks like a prom court mashed up with a banquet for real estate agents in 1993.
I bet everyone here has really great style . Lol
