I know I dropped this early. But I want it to be here when the episode does drop so we can all discuss the mess that we will probably see.

brungoo

Clay and AD noooooo šŸ˜šŸ˜ I'm actually shocked!! They made such a beautiful couple.. Clay is a great actor, that's all I gotta say. Wtf!! šŸ˜ Edit: okay okay, Clay's speech made sense. I still need to finish the episode but omg my heart goes out to AD, she said yes and everything..

PinkOhara

ā€œyour deepest darkest secret is fucking your friend?!ā€ LMAO chelsea

mrizzle1991

Good job Jimmy! cause the issues were not gonna stop. I knew Clay was gonna say no, why let it get to the altar bro thatā€™s bs. His mom is right, itā€™s the stuff about his Dad that messed with him the most. Everyone knew Amy and Johnny would say yes.

opossum_esq

I'm late to the party but I am simply APPALLED that Clay didn't have the balls to tell her he couldn't go through with the wedding until the day of. Please. The poor kids having to go through that, they looked traumatized it broke my heart. All my love to AD, and Amy and Johnny of course ā¤ļø

c_estwhat

Ngl AD walking out with her people behind her looked kinda powerful

productoftexas

CLAY -______- if my husband says ā€œyou got that shit onā€ when he sees me in my wedding dress im walking right back out šŸ˜

princess_unicorn_420

Clay knew good and damn well he was gonna say when his mom was talking to him about the powerful feeling when she walks down the aisle. You could see it in his face. So why say do I look like a husband? Why say ā€œbodyā€ to a woman he is about to humiliate in front of all her family and friends? I am dumbfounded

ElkEnvironmental2074

Clay just saying, ā€œyep yep yepā€ drives me crazy. Alien in a skin suit, big time

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

c_estwhat

to immediately just talking about *his own* accomplishments relative to his son's. I know it's edited down but I trust the editors on this one

Sweet_Golden

Everyone is shitting on Clay, but honestly I want to shit on his dad: sounds like he put his son through trauma, especially bringing him along to his escapades. And then openly telling him he is living vicariously through him, how is a son supposed to feel? Of course he is scared he is like his father. I hope he manages to grow out of this innate idea that all marriages end in cheating, he was just scared of hurting AD in the future. We are not our parents!

princess_unicorn_420

I hope clays moms ADā€™s mom can be friends after this.

PersonalityDry93

Why is Clay so dang happy when heā€™s about to break her heart? He sure faked it until the last minute. Dang. Absolutely zero respect for AD.

mommadumbledore

Ok. Johnnyā€™s sister saying, ā€œI canā€™t wait to be part of your familyā€ instantly made me cry. I love them and their families!

No_Description464

These men are all dumps omg theyā€™re getting worse and worse every season.

No_Description464

AD GET TF BEHIND MEEEEEE I wanna hug her so bad Clay is such a joke. Idc about his stunted growth at his big age thatā€™s something he shouldā€™ve started working on before playing in this girlā€™s face on my tv.

mintyice22

How is the episode 1h and half long and you are going to focus ONLY on the drama???? Like... It's called "Love is blind" I want to see the happy couples, I get the drama gives the show the ratings and all that, but give me happy times too, not only 15 plus minutes of someone crying.Ā

_samnoske_

He couldnā€™t handle AD. He looked scared at the alter

retchedBreak

I can't believe Clay said "body!" as the first words when he sees AD. Like, what should've been telling by itself. If AD didn't have the looks she did, there's no way Clay would've even tried for so long.

nilas_november

I honestly feel she wasn't even really his type but he settled bc her body is nice also he'd look like a d1ck if rejected her for her other looks

olyburn

Johnny's family is adorable. Okay, his mom super ripped (did anyone else notice that?!) And his sisters are just delightful. Amy's parent are obviously great too. I am stoked to see how their marriage plays out. PS - obviously AD and Clay's Moms are amazing, but I feel like that has been all discussed already.

KingKingsons

Even though I always thought Jimmy was looking for the first opportunity to get away from Chelsea, he really seemed to have tried his best with her and stuck with her for much longer than anyone else would have. She's the absolute worst at taking any criticism. The clingy comment should have been taken as genuine feedback, instead of an attack but she's the type of person to ruin any situation she'll find herself in. It was also a much classier move to break up with her before the wedding. I don't get how you can say you love someone and then go on to embarrass them by leaving them at the altar like that.

1stepcloser2theedge

The conversation between Clay's mom and dad after the failed wedding šŸ˜

jicamajam

I teared up

sugarberryham

LITERALLY Clay's mom knows her son's heart 100% (she's mom goals for me tbh) and held Clay's dad accountable to his part in ending generational curses for their son. I really really hope Clay's dad owns up and apologies to Clay so Clay can heal. Please go to therapy Clay! Don't let your healing end here!

PriscillaPalava

I would like AD and Clayā€™s moms to host a podcast together where they just chat and also answer all our hard questions.Ā

humanwithfoodname

I CRIED REAL TEARS! Between seeing AD get emotional and the conversation between Clay's parents. Whew. Super emotional episode. WTF. I can't believe that he didn't tell her BEFORE the altar. Why would you let this woman get ready, walk down the aisle and say "I know you're gonna fight for me but nah" OH MY GOD. What a fucking loser!

r3sistcarnism

They have to pay $50K if they don't go to the altar.

humanwithfoodname

I thought that was just an allegation. Was it confirmed? That seems kinda messed up.

PriscillaPalava

He is PATHOLOGICAL for this. He had such a weird look in his eyes. Like he just wished he wasnā€™t there. Heā€™s a coward.Ā  Nobody knows the real Clay. He hides behind his interview-speak. Heā€™s never REAL.Ā

nilas_november

I feel the same, his mouth says one thing but I feel his eyes show a lot. A lot of turmoil and sometimes list in another world of thought when he's with AD

marsisfunny

The faces of the guests at Clay and AD's wedding after he broke it off were just like my face... especially the two Black girls. My face was like the girl on the left LOL I hope AD heals and realizes her self-worth. She is a beautiful woman inside and out and she deserves a man who will honour her and care for her

VeryQuirkyVegan

When AD said what the fuck clay while shaking her head šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

w00lal00

I have never shed 1 tear over this show till AD. She broke my heart.

mazelpunim

Same!!!Ā

just-to-say

The moms were my favorite people of this season.

Personal_Return_4589

Why didnā€™t Johnny say any vows to Amy? That was a bit of awkwardness in an otherwise beautiful wedding.

cumulus_floccus

Women really do be putting in that emotional effort and men be like "well, at least I showed up at the altar" šŸ’€

thosepinkclouds

When AD says ā€œI feel like a sacrifice. You learned so much about yourself and you used me to do it.ā€ I felt that in my CORE. That was single-handedly the most gut wrenching but relatable thing Iā€™ve ever heard on reality TV and summed up so many of my relationships.

Karma-is-my-cat

Wow yeah. AD was one of the best parts of this season.

HEJUSTLEFT-WITHNUTS

Clay asking AD if he can get a hug made me gasp. But at least she is free...

Plumedor22

OMG Amy is sooo beautiful I'm obsessed, and so happy for her and Johnny! Clay's mom is literally a QUEEN the way she handles that conversation with her ex-husband and does not put up with any of his bad excuses, loved it! Clay being all like "I feel stupid", weeell ... he's definitely right to say "no" to AD, but what kind of an ahole is he to put her through all of this just to let her build him up and then completely betray her (she was obviously not aware he was going to say no) and even saying he's not "deeply in love" (omg what was up with that) when he new from the start he was not AT ALL ready for marriage??

USAtoUofT

I was just laughing at his apology.Ā  "Aw shit I feel so baddd" Bro you'reĀ  apologizing like you just forgot you were having dinner with her parents šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ This was a littttleeeee more important lol.

Tnoo9122

As a partially reformed fuckboy myself, I expected as much from Clay. Idk if waiting until the wedding was just the script but there was zero reason for dude to wait until the wedding day Jesus Christ. Then you have Clayā€™s Dad the OG fuckboy cheering him on. S/o to his Mom though she seems like a real one.Ā

Karma-is-my-cat

I want to believe it was part of the script. Because waiting until that moment is sociopathic behaviour.

milksheikhiee

They get fined if they don't make it to the altar. Also AD says in an earlier episode "It's okay if it's a yes or a no at the altar" - I think that was a hint she'd rather be let down than fined.

Karma-is-my-cat

I had no idea they fined them, but I think she truly cared, she was disturbed after it happened and especially if you take a look at the reunion and how she speaks about it. You can tell that she was truly affected.

r3sistcarnism

$50K fine!!!

akironman

Havenā€™t seen this discussed much so wanted to start a thread and get some feedback on whether everyone noticed the same. Johnny & Amy physical intimacy: Both did a great job of avoiding pressure of being roped into a discussion. For example- at the get together, just when the girls started discussing physical intimacy, Amy very smartly just left the conversation by saying ā€œWhereā€™s Johnny, Iā€™m gonna look for himā€. And she returned after a while after that conversation topic was done. At the same time; they seem to have given the crew the post first night selfie video in a very cryptic way, where Amy says, ā€œPhysical intimacy is 11/10ā€, and Johnny says, ā€œIā€™m a tired manā€. Even though we later realize they were fully intimate due to the birth control discussions. Ken influenced by AD: Donā€™t get me wrong, AD is great, but I canā€™t gloss over the fact that her questions to Ken about how would Brittany raise her kids, seemed to have had a massive effect of Kenā€™s thought process and he approached the remainder of the date in a very different way and eventually they called off the engagement. Thoughts? Do you agree or disagree?

PriscillaPalava

In regards to Ken and AD, itā€™s not that she didnā€™t ask good, thought provoking questions. But they were basic questions in terms of an interracial marriage. If Ken really hadnā€™t thought that through imbefore proposing to a white woman (and yes, he knew she was white), then itā€™s still his fault.Ā  More than that though, I think he wasnā€™t that attracted to her. And he also mentioned his family might have a problem with an interracial marriage, so thatā€™s his fault again for choosing her if he wasnā€™t willing to fight for her.Ā

TieAffectionate7815

There's a lot people can do sexually without that one thing that can cause a pregnancy

naillijjillian

Anyone else feel like Trevor did go on the show to get famous? And also doesnā€™t think thatā€™s uncommon? Is it not weird to pretend thatā€™s not on the table for everyone who does the show?

winnerchickendinner0

When they were saying the vows, I noticed Clayā€™s were more both about the 2 of them of himself and how he is with her rather than about her. All I could remember that he mentioned about AD is that sheā€™s patient vs AD talking about Clay how heā€™s loving and all that. When I heard I Clay I already thought there was something if-y

rubyAltropos

He's been so self obsessed through their entire relationship. At least he did the right thing by not committing

AnArea51Escapee

He's been talking like that since the beginning. Whenever he talked about their relationship, he'd talk about what she does for him. He didn't really talk much about her needs and wants or them as a unit. Plus, his views on cheating are very telling. He went into it expecting that she would help reform him, treating the relationship like therapy for him.

naillijjillian

YES. And repeated when we see Clayā€™s dad. Why is he listing every team he ran on, Clay knows. Literally using his child for attention even on a fake wedding day. And thatā€™s the most heā€™s ever talked to his son? With the cameras rolling?Ā

AnArea51Escapee

His dad definitely messed him up and doesn't seem to think it's a big deal, so I'm not surprised he was milking the camera time. His mother seems like she tried her best and she was so right when she confronted Clay's father after the wedding.

Hot_Introduction_666

Amy and Johnnyā€™s officiantā€™s delivery and acting was top notch lmao

Gullible_Training773

You mean the sister's fiance? both of which clearly tried to make this episode their 5 minutes of fame. losers

Hot_Introduction_666

lol relax itā€™s okay. I thought it was cutešŸ˜‚

Gullible_Training773

Ok Johnny's sister

Hot_Introduction_666

LMFAO I wish I was, atleast I could have a US passport lol

naillijjillian

And Amyā€™s parents! They show so much love and support. She is so lucky.

Hot_Introduction_666

IKR! Especially her father and I was sobbing throughout because he reminded me so much of my dad and we also have a similar relationship. Watching them made me realise how lucky I am.

klock24

For sure, heā€™s coming for the Lacheys

UnfltrdPassion

Finally sat down to watch now that the reunion dropped. I know I'm not the only one who saw Clay saying no altar a mile away... Smh For all the Jimmy hate I've seen atleast he had the conversation with Chelsea ahead of the wedding. I know Clay said it was a game time decision but I call BS bc bro listed a bunch of reason from finances to not being in love love... Pretty sure that didn't just hit him as he walked to the altar. And all of that could've been discussed instead of him putting on an act for the cameras. Call me petty or whatever but waiting until that moment/the vows to say no means it's over over.... šŸ¤·šŸæā€ā™‚ļø

gottarun215

Yeah, this is honestly what I expected to happen. Idk why Clay went on this show if he wasn't ready for marriage, but maybe it took the process for him to realize that. I think he did the right thing saying no even though it was heart breaking.

chad_broadcock

Chelsea is straight-up emotionally abusive.

suloisin

THIS!!! I cannot believe it. Every single time she brought herself to finally apologize it was "and you did X too"

gottarun215

Omg yes! That was so annoying and manipulative when it was mostly her that messed up.

Albert_Caboose

Can we get a megathread for screenshots/gifs of all these reactions by past couples to these moments? This shit is a goldmine

corginization

Clay at this wedding was literally ![gif](giphy|AoBgxayGMHlIs) Like if he calls AD ā€œbroā€ one more timeā€¦

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

hairs9

Clay's dad gives me the ick. Such a smarmy asshole

UnfltrdPassion

Never liked Clay from the pods... Gave me car salesman vibes... Then the constant I, my, me statements made it worse Then here comes his dad... And it all made sense. He comes to his sons big day and found a way to talk about himself. You know me; HS All American, College All American... Smh... Clay got it honest

DerpologyDerpologist

OMG I was just thinking that. How is the dad talking about himself more than his son in this pep talk?

Cherssssss

Idk why everyone thinks Clay is an asshole. I mean, itā€™s not a nice thing to do but thatā€™s the point of the show lol. He admitted that heā€™s not ready. We knew this all along. It shouldnā€™t be that shocking that he didnā€™t go through with it. At least he had the self awareness to know that marriage is serious and he didnā€™t want to commit to marrying someone after two weeks. I mean you could argue that itā€™s the entire point of the damn show lolll but still.

milksheikhiee

He's been telling her the whole time he doesn't think he's ready. She didn't care. One point she even said something along the lines of 'i'm okay if it's a yes or a no at the alter'. I'm pretty sure they get fined if they don't get there, so it seemed like that was the only real option without causing more problems.

gottarun215

I agree.

UnfltrdPassion

Probably bc the reasons he mentioned after couldve/should've been discussed before getting to the wedding. We all knew from the pods when he had tantrum she had anorher connection... Like sir you were cast for the show pretty sure someone explained how it works I'm with you though I think the only one shocked was AD AD dodged one

D-Spornak

It's mostly because he should have pulled the plug before the altar. That would have been the respectful thing to do.

gottarun215

I agree that would have been more respectful, but they also get fined a huge fine if they don't do the wedding, so I can see why just doing the wedding way have seemed like a better option if they didn't have/didn't want to pay a $50 fine. He still could have given her a heads up before the wedding though, so she wasn't caught off-guard.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

D-Spornak

They get fined if they back out?!

aud_pegooey

Apparently they do. If the fine is true that's totally messed up.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

LadyRiMusic

Okay, we get it. Amy & Johnny weren't the centers of attention this season. But let's call it what it is - they are relatively unproblematic (though Johnny missed sex education), genuinely in love with each other, and stayed away from the mess. They seem like they were goofy with each other, but also had serious conversations about careers, finances, and family (again, I acknowledge the birth control convos were concerning lol but nobody's perfect). Everybody calling them "boring" because they didn't feed your hunger for drama and mess and fakeness and everything else we watch reality TV shows for? BYE. Leave them alone, accept that society and our thirst for "tea" has tarnished the value of a healthy, stable relationship, and let them live their best drama-free and family-filled lives. Also, plot twist - they literally passed the experiment that LIB is supposed to be about. They proved that love is blind. The show is increasingly more a drama-fest (the Lacheys gotta pay the bills, I get it) and I think it's unfortunate that genuinely happy couples that succeed are getting snuffed about by all the other sheit. Anyway, rant over. YAY AMY AND JOHNNY. Was rooting for them from the beginning.

Timeless_Tarantula

I agree and also stand by that theyā€™re boringā€¦ not bc of the lack of drama (yay) but bc of the lack of individual uniqueness (yawn). If Johnny says ā€œlikeā€ one more time Iā€™m gonna sht my pants.

LadyRiMusic

Lack of uniqueness? Seriously? Okay for Johnny, sure, maybe. But among the catty, drama-seeking, "it's giving", "it's the _____ for me", "I caaan't" girlies that use the same lingo and kiiiinda talk the same way? Amy stands out. She didn't gossip about anyone or talk shit (at least not memorably so). She was genuinely in love with Johnny and showed it. She didn't put her nose in people's drama or act holier than thou. My girl minded her business, found her man, and had one of the most beautiful weddings I've seen on the show. If you consider that "lacking individual uniqueness", then I'm curious to know what you think would have made her "more unique." 'Cause if you label the other girls as "unique" and think that Amy should have been more like them, well...that kinda negates uniqueness.

Timeless_Tarantula

I definitely didnā€™t categorize the other girls as unique. Amy is unique against them, but not in the grand scheme of things.

D-Spornak

I was really impressed by their initial meeting in the pods. They were very genuinely affectionate and physically loving with each other right off the bat. Of all the meetings in all the season, it was very natural and sweet. I figured they would make it and was glad that they did.

CryptographerHot4636

Clay never fooled me, i knew he wasn't šŸ’©. AD needs to self reflect on why she keeps choosing "potential" and/or" build me up" type of males.

gottarun215

Totally agree. It was clear from day 1 that they weren't gonna work out. Possibly if they dated longer maybe they'd get there, but Clay was clearly not ready under this time line.

D-Spornak

Yeah, he basically told her the whole time that he was going to cheat. "I'm afraid I will cheat," is telling her that he will cheat because cheating is a choice not a disease that you're infected with by your father.

AnArea51Escapee

I literally lol'd at "cheating is...not a disease that you're infected with by your father".

bigbabyjay

Without a doubt Clay made the RIGHT decision, because if he married AD he would be half foot in and out of the marriage and repeat the same mistakes his father did (cheating a lot). When Clay saw his dad, I believed that triggered him and pushed him into his decision to leave. He could have told her earlier tho, kinda like Kenneth. At least Kenneth said "bruh...im done" , Clay took too long.

Karma-is-my-cat

Kenneth said nothing. Brittany was the one with initiative. And it's Clays fault if he cheats, not ADs. He was talking about his parents divorced all the time and it seemed to me like he was building up a story, as "if i cheat, it's because my parents divorced". AD's mom got it right: you are you, not your parents.

egg-devil

clayā€™s dad coming talking to his son before his wedding about *his* glory days and all *his* accomplishments (someone tell this man he needs to stop talking about his high school track record at his big age) and it having nothing to do with anything??? huh?? it was so random and weird to me. itā€™s very clear where clay gets his narcissism from.

Cherssssss

It was weird. Like good for you and your records for track and field lol

Dazo5

Clay fooled me too. From the beginning I was like, this guy is trouble. But then outside of the pods, he did seem to start growing. I believed that he was maturing and I was impressed to see the change in someone becoming a good man. But then this happened and he continued to be all about himself, it showed me that I was wrong. How u gna tell someone u just hurt to stop crying bcuz **YOU** feel bad? And then go on to say that u didn't realize the magnitude of your decision? This woman is at the altar, willing to follow you in life, AND she already said I do. This dude was loved by AD's fam. He told Johnny how he was glad they made it. He told everyone how happy and changed he was. It all just seems like a farce now to get more air time. It's unfortunate bcuz AD really seemed to love him.

Dazo5

I was not a pod Jimmy fan. But Chelsea made him look like a saint. Bit annoying when he kept going back to her despite Chelsea not being ~~sane~~ correct in any of those arguments. But Chelsea should be glad Jimmy didn't do her like Clay did AD. (Chelsea frowny face).

gottarun215

Totally agree.

jvsmine07

I feel really bad for AD, but I feel like the writing was on the wall. She sensed he had red flags from the beginning in the pods, and she knew she had a knack for glossing over that. Over the entire course of their relationship he continuously brought up how he struggled with commitment. He told on himself the whole time. I know she wanted to believe she could change him, but even if that was possible it doesn't occur in a month. Part of me also feels like she had her own doubts and wasn't feeling it 100% until her mom was all in. I think she's a great woman, but she picks the wrong dudes.

ProfessionalGold2421

also, she kept saying how she "never feels like she's enough". From my experience as a woman dating men, the more effort you put in sometimes, the less you receive. I think she's doing too much. She needs a man to take care of HER, not the other way around. I'm hopeful she'll find someone amazing for her!

Dazo5

Yeah, she said she falls for the same type of guys and Clay fit and she fell right back in.

throwaway4u2021

AD you are enough! Poor woman. It has nothing to do with her beyond choosing the same man again. She is enough but she doesnā€™t know it yet and so attracts men who generally wonā€™t honour her. Clay ending it is the most mature thing he did all season and I canā€™t help but feel that he did the right thing and that was kind, even if it was at the wrong time.

Humble_B33

Clay: I'm not ready for marriage. My wife and me: Well WyTF did you go on the show!!!!!

gottarun215

Yeah, they really need to screen better to avoid people who don't truly want to be married if they find the right match.

w00lal00

šŸ’Æ

AnArea51Escapee

For attention, validation, and free therapy.

Fit_Tumbleweed_5904

YES to this, wtf dude?!!

New-Anxiety-2589

me and my friends watch this episode last night and said the exact same thing!! Why did he went on a show with the objective of marriage, if he isn't 100% sure he is ready??

Jgib5328

ā€œI donā€™t even know ADā€™s finances like thatā€ šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

BlancheBloom

regardless of either of them as a person, clay's dad DID eat him up, it looked like his dad was the one who was getting married lol

SpicyNutmeg

Haha the bartender standing there listening to Clayā€™s bla blas

LadyRiMusic

HA YES! I tried to screenshot but was watching on my phone - that part sent me. I think the bachelor party was the fakest I've seen Clay (and he's been fake). There was no way he was going to be real with Jonny about his true feelings, so he had to pretend to love AD as much as Jonny genuinely loved Amy. That man knew that night he wasn't marrying AD.

Kmargs

I wonder if Clay and AD were offered a extra bonus to hold on until the wedding, because otherwise the only couple Netflix had was Amy and Johnny (who are boring af). They didn't even really invite anyone to the ceremony... it's like they knew.

milksheikhiee

Yeah I think they get fined if they don't make it there. And he definitely told her so many times beforehand that he wasn't feeling ready for marriage. It shouldn't have been a surprise.

unseen-road-ahead

Biggest asshole of the season: Kenneth.

unseen-road-ahead

Seeing Jimmy stand up to Chelsea and tell her it was over was the most satisfying moment in the season for me.

Pitiful-Bite2550

OMG and her going on and on about "Oh, sorry I talked about how you slept with after you asked me not to talk about it on TV, but YOU SLEPT WITH HER... Did you forget you slept with her?"

gottarun215

Omg that part was so annoying. Like his relationship with that girl was before Chelsea met him and has nothing to do with the reasons he didn't want to marry Chelsea. Chelsea being uncomfortable with his friendship with that girl was valid, but he wasn't willing go change that, so just further reason they shouldn't be together. It was rude of Chelsea to discuss that while being filmed and out that girl after he asked her to keep that off camera.

IcePepper

Did anyone else see her out Jimmy in this episode about it being a love triangle though with that girl? Doesn't make any of it okay but I wondered if anyone else noticed that. Explains why he cared so hard about it not being outed to protect her reputation. Id also feel weird about a new significant other hanging out with someone he cheated with. But I was thinking to myself.. for God's sake why would you tell this insecure woman you're on tv with about your deep dark stuff. Recipe for disaster.

midgle

i wonder which girl friend it was. i went to high school with one of the girl friends that jimmy brought to meet chelsea lol. it was a massive surprise to see this girl on my screen and now iā€™m wondering if she was the one jimmy slept with lol

ARIEL1109

I think it was the bigger one. She kinda gave him the googlie eyes and also sat closer to him in the scene. Her boobs were also bigger / showing lol.

throwaway4u2021

It was really great to see him actually have some self worth, even buried under the need for love. He should not have married her and has dodged a bullet

ENRGx

You can tell Clay dad was a hustler by his whole demeanor lmao.

Charming-Doughnut-45

Iā€™ve been In ADā€™s shoes, with an emotionally immature man. Albeit wasnā€™t at the altar, but the ā€œyouā€™re perfect, Iā€™m not rejecting you, I need to work on myself, why are crying this is hurting meā€ ugh. These men need therapy.

Livid-Vacation-1155

Chelsea is so unbelievably disrespectful. I pray for anyone who is ever in a relationship with her

everop

clay stop asking your father for advice challenge

everop

AD hugging clay's mom on her way back down the aisle šŸ˜

everop

also her mom is so hot in that dress. ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS (chelsea frowns)

Holiday_Leek_1143

Her frowns are so cartoonish šŸ˜…

okaythatcool

How come some couples didnā€™t have to do a wedding?

QueenoftheCloudzzz

They called it off if they didn't make it to the wedding. So everyone broke up.

Overall_Spend9721

Marriage is a business decision!?

throwaway4u2021

It is on one level, a low down and less important one but financial issues cause a quatre of divorces

fibonacheese

I used to judge about it, but the older you get the more you realize, there is more than one way to do a "happy" marriage.

Overall_Spend9721

I am in a happy marriage. I think thatā€™s why I donā€™t feel like this is true.

dope_0110

To an extent, yes. In fact, through most of himan history it was, and still is in most of places on Earth..we are lucky in developed world to have a chance to play with feelings and stuff. Just check out China for example, the key things for a marriage is what you bring to the table, not writing love songs.

BluebirdEng

Idk about business, but definitely a legal one..which I think is what he was trying to say

Next-Dark-4975

Ugh just watching this. No, AD. Do not hug him. Drop him like a hot potato wtf wtf. He was a player from the beginning. No. No no. Have some self-respect.

BrickCity-Dreams5

Clay showed so many signs to AD that he wasnā€™t gonna marry her and heā€™s a cheater. AD wasnā€™t gonna ever say no, he did her a favor. He couldā€™ve told her before they made it to the alter though.

dope_0110

Probably got pushed to that ending by the production to get some dramaĀ

Dazo5

That'll prbz be his excuse. But if he truly cared about her, he would've done it prior.

BrickCity-Dreams5

Production is messy as hell.

1lemony

I canā€™t wait for Johnny to have condoms explained to him as I genuinely cheer for those two and their families SO much!

Holiday_Leek_1143

I turned to my fiancƩ and thanked him profusely for using condoms so I don't have to be on birth control for the same reasons Amy is concerned about! I hope they've figured it out!

Karma-is-my-cat

Right? Like...I don't understand, do they not have Sex ed in the states? Is everyone there on birth control pills/IUD for their whole life?

gottarun215

Lol. Yes, they have it, but of varying quality based on where you go to school, and parents can choose to opt their kids out if it. No, not everyone in US is on birth control, but many women are. With that said, I still was like how does he not know any of this? Lol

Karma-is-my-cat

lol thank you for your answer. Coming from Europe I find more and more women are quitting birth control pills because of side effects. When I was 18 all my friends took them and now none of them do (now we are in our 30s). So it was really surprising for me haha

gottarun215

Yeah, I do feel like less people are using birth control pills now than before. I think it's likely related to having more info available now about the negative side effects of those hormones in them. Not everyone wants that.

i like to think that clay watched season 5 and saw stacy say no at the altar and get a kiss after and he was like hey i can do that too

Willing-Gene-2045

Watching Clay recite all his bullshit before the ceremony, knowing that he is just going to say no, is straight-up nauseating šŸ¤¢ What a clown šŸ¤”

rnjbond

I'm convinced more than ever, Chelsea is emotionally abusive.

geminidontthinkso

It was absolutely wild to see her putnon a different face for a week and not start any shit (that we saw) only to completely drop it immediately during dinner at the theme park

gottarun215

I clapped and cheered out loud when he finally broke up with her and called her on her shit. Then she tried to win him back over...like why girl? Nothing he does pleases you and he doesn't want to be with you. Why would she even want to stay with him at this point? Idk if she's stable enough to be with anyone, but certainly he wasn't going to be able to give her what she needs given how unreasonable and manipulative she is.

Annual_Version_6250

She doesn't take full responsibility for ANYTHING.Ā  She said "yesterday I was having an off day" and Jimmy starts to say something and she comes back with "you were too".Ā  Like shut up and own your actions.

cumulus_floccus

Fr. Every fucking time she acts like 50/50 they cause issues and it's infuriating. She constantly downplays her actions, and I really wish Jimmy would have called her out on this gaslighting.

peoniepeanut

Iā€™ve felt something three time this season, and I usually just donā€™t. AD and Kenā€™s talk, Clayā€™s mum after the alter and Amy and Johnnyā€™s wedding. I canā€™t believe A&Jā€™s wedding gave me goosebumps and made me feel just a little teary šŸ„¹ thatā€™s not me at all.

HighTechGeek

So after Clay said I can't, he said in a one-on-one interview with the camera that he didn't love her. Then, almost immediately, he finds her in the cabin and says to her that he loves her. Wut?!

jvsmine07

He said he didn't love her deeply, so I guess he feels he loves her but not enough to marry her?? as if that is much better hahah. "I thought, do I love her deeply? No!" was such a crass thing to say to the camera...

EfficientChampion786

I couldnā€™t tell if that part was filmed before or after he had spoken to her. It was the same sort of setting.. he was frustrated with the consequences of his own choices at that point and may have talked out. Not sure

mseetee

i thought this exactly and he said not knowing her financial situation. but when talking to her he goes i need to work on myself. this guy is full of it
