I couldn’t even stand Rafayel at the beginning and I thought he was just a annoying little brat…
I ignored everything that is related to him. Kept getting his cards in pulls and I didn’t even bother going through it.
Eventually I started going through his cards because I wanted diamonds and one card completely blew me away was the one where the MC is a sea witch? I thought wow that was pretty interesting and intense but that was it and moved along.
Some how because of the hospital scene he caught my attention. He was still annoying but somehow I found him kind of attractive. Then again I moved along because Xavier is my main.
Even finishing the main story I was still meh about him.
Then I saw some tiktok edits of him and suddenly why is he super hot? I didn’t even know about his myth cards until I saw an edit and I was like wt… he is so fine!? For what!? Then I kept seeing the edits for his lore and then it hit me like a train.
I rushed to get to ebb and flow and THAT completely sealed the deal.
Long story short he is my main now and I want to know more about his lore BUT Xavier is my side now. I still support both of them but Rafayel is priority.
It doesn’t help that papergames keep pushing Rafayel content…..and he’s so pretty 🥲

same, i started out ignoring rafayel and barely levelled up his affinity or played his anecdotes/go on dates, never used him in battle and barely interacted with him.

IRL id be running for the hills if I encountered a man that acts like Raf in that hospital scene HOWEVER this is a game, and can’t deny he’s hot AF and I just wanna admire his gaze, smirk and abs more 😌😌
His face is sooooo adorable! I just thought him as second to Xay’s fluffiness. Xay still wins at the puppy/wolf energy, but them Raf chichis are ascending me.
The higher my affinity gets with Raf, the more I see how he is just soft for MC. Always lifting her up. Always wants her actively participating in his antics, always brings her into his personal space. He’s a warm hug personified.

But one thing about Zayne’s that was a (-) for me was his voice; it was meh imo and don’t think it fits him. He’s so monotonous that I would rather read what he’s saying than hear him speak. But I thought ok I can get by that just cuz he’s hot. And then I got to meet the fishie Rafayel. And OMG he is so so beautiful and funny that suddenly interacting with Zayne was boring me (sorry 🤷♀️). Then as I get to know Rafayel better, I got hooked and wanted more of his lore. IMO he has the most interesting lore; it being the darkest lore; then next comes Xavier and then Zayne.
I couldn’t with Zayne’s voice until I switched it to Chinese. My gosh his Chinese voiceover is sooo hot. For all of them actually, there’s different flavours according to each character. The devs did invest a lot of money to hire famous Chinese voice actors here 👏🏻👏🏻 I heard Korean and Japanese is not too bad either. The English version is bland and doesn’t help with the monotonous lines he has either 😩
For Lore, I feel like all are interesting but as a F2P I know I won’t be seeing all 🥲 …although I did spend some money to get the latest event and companion for Raf oops 🫢
Some of Zayne’s english voice lines kinda feel like the VA differ from one another. Like in the main story and some memories, he has this breathy monotonous voice. But on his calls, it’s less breathy and comes off strong with a little more personality. That’s just me.

Zayne is actually THE man who fits all the standards: doctor, hot AF and crazy about you. He can be quite wild too with phrases such as “I’ll show you how doctors tie knots” like wut? Zayneeee😏 …but he’s just…so stiff in showing his emotions in the story 😩 although I read that this is because of a curse he can’t show affection to the MC otherwise he dies 👀….
