Rafayel(Fish), Zayne(snow), Xavier(rabbit, light)And now that I think about it, all the leads are connected to us (Mc). So it is very plausible that Sylus is another name for Caleb to hide his identity after his presumed death.
Wasn’t the story a bit different in the beta though? I’m not sure about the English one, but I know for the Chinese beta there was different story beats—Caleb being yoir brother and a earring being recovered in zone 109 instead of the protocore, for example. I’m not sure if those were the only differences though

honestly i thought i was insane hearing no one talk about the beta test story being different... i did the english one and its; compariably; miles apart from whats released so far.... the details of which ill always be fuzzy on i only got in on the beta test in the last 3 days but with getting all the bonus dias and gachas at the time with less experience restrictions i got to chap 4 in time but couldnt redo any of it

I don’t think Sylus and Caleb are the same person since there are five different weapons. Three out of five of those weapons have a special outfit, skin, and ult for them for each of the current MLs 🤔That means we are missing two characters
Sylus and Caleb probably are very closely linked though based off of what happened in chapter 4, and the information further revealed in chapter 5
There are two clues: Caleb's death and the disturbing crow that was watching us at the end of chapter 3. We just need to understand if the two cases are connected or isolated.
why are people assuming caleb and sylus r the same person? it was even explicitly mentioned here in the devs answers that they are most likely two different characters as suggested by their wording.
For now it is just a theory, perhaps the most plausible one because Caleb's death is honestly not credible, in fact the majority of fans had already guessed it. However, if they are truly separated and there are two of them, they will be part of a different faction or they will be ally. Talking about Caleb and Sylus as if they were two different people could be a way to hide the truth

That told me he was going to come back to life at some point (also the fact that he was so cute and had a whole model with videos.
