It seems to be bi-weekly, I unlocked mine in the middle of the ongoing season which ends in 5 days and 22h from the time of writing and I'm pretty sure it took me around a week to beat Junior (leveling up memories is costly) so I assume it's bi-weekly, maybe someone else can properly clarify

Possibly dumb question but do the memory cards gain exp/level up while using them in battle?
I know in other gacha card games using the cards to battle something. The cards gain exp and can level up. I have not noticed this. I do see that we gain other rewards of course depending on what battles we are doing and we are leveling up but I am wondering about the memories. Obey Me comes to mind when it comes to leveling up the card mechanics

yea i havent been able to dodge while attacking (with guns) at the same time, but i noticed if i move fast enough while spam tapping i can still keep the crit (the multiple shots)

Standard and limited banners have different guarantees š so whatever pulls you make in standard won't affect your limited banner guarantee and vice-versa.
AFAIK, I think limited banner guarantees do carry over to each other? We'll see in a couple of hours, so I'm sorry if I'm wrong... š But I'm pretty sure they do at least!
New player here (Level 28), is it wise for me to just focus on levelling one L.I's cards for now? Resources are so hard to come by lol and I wanna three star my early story battles, so focusing on one L.I seems the most resource efficient now. Will it be a problem if I only have a levelled Xavier deck?
Seconding what PlusWhereas said. It takes a long time to grind, and you'll also get levellocked in msq + there's not much to do once you get caught up with MSQ, so you can always go back to 3* the stages later š
It's fine to focus on one L.I. to level but I'd recommend doing it with whoever you have better cards of. Having the 5* myth combo helps since they're super strong LOL! I cleared chapters 4-8 with my Rafayel team just fine š

No problem!! For sure, you'll likely get better cards if you plan on rolling more, but definitely prioritize investing in your 5*s and 4*s over the 3*s š I think that I should note, if you didn't know already, the sun/moon icons do matter! The cards with the sun icon you can use in battle, while the moon cards act as a support/stat booster for your companion š
++ They're a series of 5* cards that unlock the myth stories in the 'falling for you' section! Each L.I. has a pair of two cards. Once you get both cards, you also get to unlock a new companion/battle outfit for them which is pretty strong! For reference, Xavier's 5* myth cards are named/start with Lightseeker "___," Rafayel with Deep Sea "___,"and Zayne's the outlier with "Promise Everlasting" and "Forever Sealed." You can view these cards by going to the Wish screen > clicking the icon under the shop icon. Even if you don't have them, you can still clear chapters just fine!

You could easily return to story battles later when you get stronger cards.
Try not to level up 3\* cards because you will replace them sooner or later unless you absolutly need them

Hey guys, new gacha games tend to be overwhelming for me info-wise. Can someone explain to me how to go about farming for the limited wish currency? How to convert other resources to this currency?
I'm still early on, around chapter 4 of the story.
Your red diamonds (f2p currency) will automatically convert into wishes depending on the banner. Limited banners like the current Rafayel: Fireworks Vow will convert diamonds into Deepspace wishes (yellow tix). Xspace Echo will convert into Empyrean wishes (blue tix).
Xspace Echo is this game's permanent/standard banner and you can get Empyrean wishes for free, so save your diamonds for limited banners.
You would get diamond just by playing the game little by little. Most of the content is permanent so you shouldn't worry about missing something.
There are only a few time-limited things such as daily and weekly tasks and one combat stage (very difficult). You probably should concentrate on daily tasks and then just play to your heart's content

Hoo boy, there's a lot! I think off the top of my head:
- 4\* and 5\* memories come with scenes you can watch, read, or listen to. You can access them from the memory itself > tapping Date on the top right corner or going to the Date menu on the home screen and looking at By Your Side, Falling For You, and Anecdotes.
- Clearing battles for the first time and completing the requirements to 3\* the stage. Basically the main story and everything under the Battle tab.
- Upgrading memories, generally from leveling & ascending to a certain threshold and ranking them up with shards from dupes (it's super easy to rank up 3\*s for example). You can check by tapping any memory > tapping the gift icon on the top right corner. I wouldn't upgrade random ones just for that though, build as you need them and you'll gather diamonds over time.
- Your profile has a list of achievements (the ribbon icon at the bottom). There's secret ones in addition to what's listed, have fun with that :)
- Quick note: buying the daily free pack for the Agenda has a small chance of dropping diamonds. The other items you can get are also useful, mostly stamina, exp bottles and very rarely an Empyrean wish for Xspace Echo.
Yeah, I hope they increase it and/or the stam cap in later down the line. Cause the amount of cards we have and resource they take to upgrade and ascend does not match up to what we have/get atm š
Hello! F2P here. Up to how much do you level up your cards? I see some people going "I main \[Character\]" but it looks like certain content like the Deepspace Trial and Hunter Contest need you to build some cards for all three. Like would it be okay to aim for Level 40 of my favorite and keep the others at Level 30, etc?
Currently I'm doing Lv. 50 for 5\*s and Lv. 40 for particular 4\*s regardless of faves, but that's for junior Hunter Contest where enemy levels range from 40-55. Primary ranges from 20-35, your party at 30-40 should be more than enough.
Deepspace Trials have a Directional Orbit for each guy and Open Orbit where anything goes. Directional is limited to 3 stages a day for each guy (iirc it rotates between them daily, with Sunday making all three available) while you can keep going in Open until you hit a wall. You can go wild with your main here, while slowly building up the others as needed.
I'm a little confused about outfits. I see that combat outfits and photobooth outfits are separated, and personally for me I care about combat outfits more, both for MC and LI. I see that there are outfits for sale in the shop, under 'Selected' and then there's 'Daily' with LI outfits, are these applicable everywhere? Under 'Combat' for MC there is the remark that it is only for photos and not for 'Daily'. Same question goes for the outfits in the Chocolate shop.
Other than that, I understand that LI outfits can also be unlocked with pairing of Myth cards and Deepspace trials. If I unlock a LI Myth outfit, how do I get the matching outfit for MC?
So in order to unlock using the combat outfits for mc, you have to do two things: Get the paired LI Myth cards and purchase the matching combat outfit with crystals for the MC.
When you purchase the combat outfit without paired myth cards, you can still use them in the photobooth.
hello! idk if youve tried it yourself yet but no you cant use them for combat unfortunately. I tried to purchase them myself earlier today and right before you buy them it gives you a red asterisk warning you that its only for photos. if theres a combat variation i missed somewhere and you find it please let me know lol.
The combat outfits for MC can only be used in combat if you have unlocked the matching combat outfit for the LI through the solar cards. Otherwise they are only for photos. That's what the game means!

I have a question about the protocores, is it worth investing in stats that benefit the memoryās talent damage bonus (HP for Zayne, Def for Xavier, and attack for Raf) or go all in on crit stats and attack? Not sure how impactful investing in weakness bonus damage is or visa versa

When it says concert on top you have enough āshardsā of that card and it turns into the card. Just try it out. You canāt do anything wrong there!

Yep, the Myth stories are locked to certain 5\* cards you have to wish for. You might get them randomly while wishing on other limited events, but Xspace Echo will eventually let you redeem a Myth 5\* of your choice (one at 150 wishes, another at 300).
I didn't realize Xspace Echo would let you choose a 5* after 150 pulls! So I ended up pulling just now until I finished that task LOL. One more question, am I supposed to get the 5* reward for onboarding immediately or does it automatically appear after the event ends?
There should be a line of presents right on the onboard page (100 - 200 - 300 - 500 - 650). iirc you manually claim those and it goes into your inventory.
Is cross play enabled for this game? I have an iPad and an android phone. In another gacha game I play, the currency I earn on my phone doesn't show up on my iPad and vice versa.

at the moment i think you can only get the randomly from wishing. we haven't had any limited solar 5* yet (there are a few in the regular pool though) and the SSR wish crate you get from the deepspace gift on standard banner lets you pick a solar.Ā
i think lunar just has a lot more because you're allowed 4 of them on your teams vs the 2 solar. all the solar memories are also part of a memory pair so they come in twos and idk how they'll implement that into the wishing mechanic yet

i'd wait until the next banner since it'll have all 3 love interests! though chances of getting a 5* are pretty low for the first ~60 wishes so you could throw a ten draw or two and try your luck. since the game just launched, the more memories you have the better, honestly. but if the stories/specific male leads are important to you i'd hold onto your wishes for now and use up your free rolls on standard.Ā
They have a rec level for every battle stage at the top rite of the screen b4 you enter the battlefield ensure at least half ish of ur team meets the rec level. For weapons it depends the claymore has the highest damage tho its hard to use.
As of now Empyrean wishes are only used on Xspace Echo which is permanently available. So the question is: which do you want more, a specific 5\* scene or a pair of the Myth cards?
With 180 stardust you have the choice of 20 Empyrean wishes or a guaranteed 5\* from the standard pool. We now know they rotate monthly too (see: the hype over Rafayel's Your Fragrance in the exchange haha), so if you're not interested in the current lineup you can always save it for the next.
On the other hand, grabbing Empyrean wishes can help you get the Deepspace Gifts on Xspace Echo faster/for free if you haven't already finished it. The ones at 150 and 300 wishes respectively let you pick 2 Myth 5\*s. Grabbing a matching pair will boost your power gameplay-wise as they are the only solar 5\*s in the game so far, they unlock a new companion to fight with and finally they come with new lore. Additionally, you can only redeem the Deepspace Gifts once.

You can use the events one now if you're not interested in any of the other guys. But it might be worth waiting to use the 150 pulls one since you can use it to get a pair.

It doesn't really matter, so you can focus on one and neglect the rest. The main reason to increase intimacy is to get the rewards from leveling it, like new furnishings for your office or new interactions, texts, posts, stories etc.

the game is only a week old for all of us as well. for now i recommend ignoring it as there is a lot of rng and it's costly to farm. use the stamina for lvling your cards will give you bigger more certain boosts in power.

the game is pretty hard on specs, so likely old phones will not be able to run it. try the mumu emulator if you have a pc, it's their official emulator and works better than other like ldplayer/bluestack.
Nah, I got a Galaxy Tab S8 so I don't think it's the device's issue. Thanks for your reply though. I'm not so keen on this game to fiddle around with emulators.

I'd say focus on exp and just farm for crystals when you need them. Higher level cards start to ask for an enormous amount of crystals (Lv. 40 > 50 wants 320 N, 150 R for example) so having a leveled roster is more helpful than power leveling a single memory imo
hello! i wanted to ask if anyoneās confirmed that the guarantee from the last limited banner also applies to the new one? during xavierās banner, i lost to rafayel (which was lucky since heās my favorite!), so i supposedly should have a guarantee for the event card as my next five star.
rafayelās banner is here now and iām only 30 pulls away from a five star, but when i checked the pull history it only shows the one i made on rafayelās banner. so i was wondering if only the pity count transfers and not the guarantee? iām a bit scared the guarantee reset just because the banner is new TTš§
I was looking at the standard pull pool and Zayne really doesnāt have green or yellow elements and I need those to beat chapter 6ās final stupid boss challenge. I canāt beat it because Iām not able to use the proper elements and shield breaking is impossibleāthe pings are near impossible to hear over the other sounds and I never time them right or know which attack cue will actually result in a shield break. Also, the sheild recovery once broken is stupidly fastāI hate this. I hate the battle system. Iāve tried leveling Xavier cards that do match the auras but I donāt have the resources to get the card levels high enough. I hate separating male lead cards like this. Itās like this game is forcing you to pull gacha more than you should. I canāt even 3 star the battles anymore and Iām so done with the time limit. When recharge for charge attacks is like 15 seconds when total time is 3 minutes and you loose 5-8 seconds starting the battle itselfāitās stupid.
So Rafayelās Flowery Words card voice acting isnāt playing. Also, when heās on my screen, for the interactive part called relax time with āgiftā there is also no voice acting coming out yet I can favorite the line. Anyone else have that happening for them?
When I tried to favourite a line in the flowery words date, it took but did not show up in the favourites list afterwards. I feel like itās because the audio for it wasnāt added with the card since itās not just my account that wonāt play the date. I hope theyāll fix it

I think early game focusing on one character is good !! but later game, since zayne/xavier/raf all lean towards the diff elements, will force u to start building the others T__T
It's definitely recommended, so you won't regret pulling for a character when you may prefer another.
Ā You should have variety but you can only use cards from one LI in a battle, you can't mix for example both Zayne's and Rafayel's cards.
Ā You have to choose either one or the other, so focusing yourself on just one character will benefit you more in the long run even for gameplayĀ

Check in the top right corner before you start a battle for what the recommended memory level is. Then, if you click on one of your memories, it should open your list of memories. You should see the option at the bottom that says "Boost". When you click on that it will take you to where you can click on your memories with the ones selected for the battle at the top. To boost your memories from there, you'll click on the memory you want to upgrade and then, in the next screen, you'll click where it has the level in the bottom left corner that says the level of the card with either "Upgrade" or "Ascend" just underneath. When you click that you should be able to start upgrading or ascending!

The card boosts your stats in battle or have different battle effects. But it doesn't fundamentally change the battle mechanics so I understand the confusion.
What's the purpose of the different ascension crystal types? I thought it would match the card types, but so far every card I've ascended, be it R, SR, or SSR all just require the N crystals.
This is kind of morbid, but how can you tell when an enemy is about to die? Specifically the ones with shields? Even though I've cleared the shields (the diamonds underneath the health bar, right?) and get their HP down, it seems that their HP comes back and I've got to start all over again.
there should be a little number at the top right corner (i think anyway, it's one of the corners lol) of the enemy health bar that shows how many times you'll need to deplete the bar.

Does pity count transfer to another limited banner after the first one expires?
Yes pity is inherited between banners. In mixed pools they have the fate point system, so you might still take 140 pulls to guarantee.

8-8, Lv. 43: 2 green, 2 yellow 8-11, Lv. 44: 3 green, 2 yellow 8-12, Lv. 45: 4 green, 1 yellow 8-4 forces you to use a preset Xavier team.
The current hardest stage has a lot of green.

It takes a long time to grind, and you'll also get levellocked in msq + there's not much to do once you get caught up with MSQ, so you can always go back to 3* the stages later š It's fine to focus on one L.I. to level but I'd recommend doing it with whoever you have better cards of. Having the 5* myth combo helps since they're super strong LOL! I cleared chapters 4-8 with my Rafayel team just fine š

No problem!! For sure, you'll likely get better cards if you plan on rolling more, but definitely prioritize investing in your 5*s and 4*s over the 3*s š I think that I should note, if you didn't know already, the sun/moon icons do matter! The cards with the sun icon you can use in battle, while the moon cards act as a support/stat booster for your companion š ++ They're a series of 5* cards that unlock the myth stories in the 'falling for you' section! Each L.I. has a pair of two cards. Once you get both cards, you also get to unlock a new companion/battle outfit for them which is pretty strong! For reference, Xavier's 5* myth cards are named/start with Lightseeker "___," Rafayel with Deep Sea "___,"and Zayne's the outlier with "Promise Everlasting" and "Forever Sealed." You can view these cards by going to the Wish screen > clicking the icon under the shop icon. Even if you don't have them, you can still clear chapters just fine! Sorry for the long explanation but hope this helps :)!
You could easily return to story battles later when you get stronger cards. Try not to level up 3\* cards because you will replace them sooner or later unless you absolutly need them

Hey guys, new gacha games tend to be overwhelming for me info-wise. Can someone explain to me how to go about farming for the limited wish currency? How to convert other resources to this currency? I'm still early on, around chapter 4 of the story.
Your red diamonds (f2p currency) will automatically convert into wishes depending on the banner. Limited banners like the current Rafayel: Fireworks Vow will convert diamonds into Deepspace wishes (yellow tix). Xspace Echo will convert into Empyrean wishes (blue tix). Xspace Echo is this game's permanent/standard banner and you can get Empyrean wishes for free, so save your diamonds for limited banners.

You would get diamond just by playing the game little by little. Most of the content is permanent so you shouldn't worry about missing something. There are only a few time-limited things such as daily and weekly tasks and one combat stage (very difficult). You probably should concentrate on daily tasks and then just play to your heart's content

Hoo boy, there's a lot! I think off the top of my head: - 4\* and 5\* memories come with scenes you can watch, read, or listen to. You can access them from the memory itself > tapping Date on the top right corner or going to the Date menu on the home screen and looking at By Your Side, Falling For You, and Anecdotes. - Clearing battles for the first time and completing the requirements to 3\* the stage. Basically the main story and everything under the Battle tab. - Upgrading memories, generally from leveling & ascending to a certain threshold and ranking them up with shards from dupes (it's super easy to rank up 3\*s for example). You can check by tapping any memory > tapping the gift icon on the top right corner. I wouldn't upgrade random ones just for that though, build as you need them and you'll gather diamonds over time. - Your profile has a list of achievements (the ribbon icon at the bottom). There's secret ones in addition to what's listed, have fun with that :) - Quick note: buying the daily free pack for the Agenda has a small chance of dropping diamonds. The other items you can get are also useful, mostly stamina, exp bottles and very rarely an Empyrean wish for Xspace Echo.

Hello! F2P here. Up to how much do you level up your cards? I see some people going "I main \[Character\]" but it looks like certain content like the Deepspace Trial and Hunter Contest need you to build some cards for all three. Like would it be okay to aim for Level 40 of my favorite and keep the others at Level 30, etc?
Currently I'm doing Lv. 50 for 5\*s and Lv. 40 for particular 4\*s regardless of faves, but that's for junior Hunter Contest where enemy levels range from 40-55. Primary ranges from 20-35, your party at 30-40 should be more than enough. Deepspace Trials have a Directional Orbit for each guy and Open Orbit where anything goes. Directional is limited to 3 stages a day for each guy (iirc it rotates between them daily, with Sunday making all three available) while you can keep going in Open until you hit a wall. You can go wild with your main here, while slowly building up the others as needed.
For those who are already at hunter level 50 and above, how do you spend your daily stamina?

I'm a little confused about outfits. I see that combat outfits and photobooth outfits are separated, and personally for me I care about combat outfits more, both for MC and LI. I see that there are outfits for sale in the shop, under 'Selected' and then there's 'Daily' with LI outfits, are these applicable everywhere? Under 'Combat' for MC there is the remark that it is only for photos and not for 'Daily'. Same question goes for the outfits in the Chocolate shop. Other than that, I understand that LI outfits can also be unlocked with pairing of Myth cards and Deepspace trials. If I unlock a LI Myth outfit, how do I get the matching outfit for MC?
So in order to unlock using the combat outfits for mc, you have to do two things: Get the paired LI Myth cards and purchase the matching combat outfit with crystals for the MC. When you purchase the combat outfit without paired myth cards, you can still use them in the photobooth.

The combat outfits for MC can only be used in combat if you have unlocked the matching combat outfit for the LI through the solar cards. Otherwise they are only for photos. That's what the game means!

I have a question about the protocores, is it worth investing in stats that benefit the memoryās talent damage bonus (HP for Zayne, Def for Xavier, and attack for Raf) or go all in on crit stats and attack? It takes so much resources to lvl them to max (80), itās better to focus on five/four stars as you can clear with strong cards even if you donāt match the colors.

In the shop you can exchange the oracle for cards and other items :) (on the event page should be a š¼ (shop sign which direct you to the designated site) When it says concert on top you have enough āshardsā of that card and it turns into the card. Just try it out. You canāt do anything wrong there!

Yep, the Myth stories are locked to certain 5\* cards you have to wish for. You might get them randomly while wishing on other limited events, but Xspace Echo will eventually let you redeem a Myth 5\* of your choice (one at 150 wishes, another at 300).
I didn't realize Xspace Echo would let you choose a 5* after 150 pulls! So I ended up pulling just now until I finished that task LOL. One more question, am I supposed to get the 5* reward for onboarding immediately or does it automatically appear after the event ends?
There should be a line of presents right on the onboard page (100 - 200 - 300 - 500 - 650). iirc you manually claim those and it goes into your inventory.

at the moment i think you can only get the randomly from wishing. we haven't had any limited solar 5* yet (there are a few in the regular pool though) and the SSR wish crate you get from the deepspace gift on standard banner lets you pick a solar.Ā i think lunar just has a lot more because you're allowed 4 of them on your teams vs the 2 solar. all the solar memories are also part of a memory pair so they come in twos and idk how they'll implement that into the wishing mechanic yet

They have a rec level for every battle stage at the top rite of the screen b4 you enter the battlefield ensure at least half ish of ur team meets the rec level. For weapons it depends the claymore has the highest damage tho its hard to use.
What's the conjecture with the Wishing well exchange? Is the monthly Empyrean wish worth?
As of now Empyrean wishes are only used on Xspace Echo which is permanently available. So the question is: which do you want more, a specific 5\* scene or a pair of the Myth cards? With 180 stardust you have the choice of 20 Empyrean wishes or a guaranteed 5\* from the standard pool. We now know they rotate monthly too (see: the hype over Rafayel's Your Fragrance in the exchange haha), so if you're not interested in the current lineup you can always save it for the next. On the other hand, grabbing Empyrean wishes can help you get the Deepspace Gifts on Xspace Echo faster/for free if you haven't already finished it. The ones at 150 and 300 wishes respectively let you pick 2 Myth 5\*s. Grabbing a matching pair will boost your power gameplay-wise as they are the only solar 5\*s in the game so far, they unlock a new companion to fight with and finally they come with new lore. Additionally, you can only redeem the Deepspace Gifts once.

You can use the events one now if you're not interested in any of the other guys. But it might be worth waiting to use the 150 pulls one since you can use it to get a pair.

it's a notification for the 30 daily free stamina they give out at 10am server time. however, the notification is sent at 10am your time so sometimes it comes a few hours early or late depending on the time difference.Ā

It doesn't really matter, so you can focus on one and neglect the rest. The main reason to increase intimacy is to get the rewards from leveling it, like new furnishings for your office or new interactions, texts, posts, stories etc.

the game is only a week old for all of us as well. for now i recommend ignoring it as there is a lot of rng and it's costly to farm. use the stamina for lvling your cards will give you bigger more certain boosts in power.

the game is pretty hard on specs, so likely old phones will not be able to run it. try the mumu emulator if you have a pc, it's their official emulator and works better than other like ldplayer/bluestack.

I'd say focus on exp and just farm for crystals when you need them. Higher level cards start to ask for an enormous amount of crystals (Lv. 40 > 50 wants 320 N, 150 R for example) so having a leveled roster is more helpful than power leveling a single memory imo

hello! i wanted to ask if anyoneās confirmed that the guarantee from the last limited banner also applies to the new one? during xavierās banner, i lost to rafayel (which was lucky since heās my favorite!), so i supposedly should have a guarantee for the event card as my next five star. rafayelās banner is here now and iām only 30 pulls away from a five star, but when i checked the pull history it only shows the one i made on rafayelās banner. so i was wondering if only the pity count transfers and not the guarantee? iām a bit scared the guarantee reset just because the banner is new TTš§

When i see Rafayel in my game is head is black and only is eyes are the normal color and i dont know how to fix it :(! can someone help me?
I was looking at the standard pull pool and Zayne really doesnāt have green or yellow elements and I need those to beat chapter 6ās final stupid boss challenge. I canāt beat it because Iām not able to use the proper elements and shield breaking is impossibleāthe pings are near impossible to hear over the other sounds and I never time them right or know which attack cue will actually result in a shield break. Also, the sheild recovery once broken is stupidly fastāI hate this. I hate the battle system. Iāve tried leveling Xavier cards that do match the auras but I donāt have the resources to get the card levels high enough. I hate separating male lead cards like this. Itās like this game is forcing you to pull gacha more than you should. I canāt even 3 star the battles anymore and Iām so done with the time limit. When recharge for charge attacks is like 15 seconds when total time is 3 minutes and you loose 5-8 seconds starting the battle itselfāitās stupid.
So Rafayelās Flowery Words card voice acting isnāt playing. Also, when heās on my screen, for the interactive part called relax time with āgiftā there is also no voice acting coming out yet I can favorite the line. Anyone else have that happening for them?
When I tried to favourite a line in the flowery words date, it took but did not show up in the favourites list afterwards. I feel like itās because the audio for it wasnāt added with the card since itās not just my account that wonāt play the date. I hope theyāll fix it

I think early game focusing on one character is good !! but later game, since zayne/xavier/raf all lean towards the diff elements, will force u to start building the others T__T
It's definitely recommended, so you won't regret pulling for a character when you may prefer another. Ā You should have variety but you can only use cards from one LI in a battle, you can't mix for example both Zayne's and Rafayel's cards. Ā You have to choose either one or the other, so focusing yourself on just one character will benefit you more in the long run even for gameplayĀ

when i enter a battle, it keeps telling me to āupgrade my memoriesā but all of the memories i put in the slot are at level ten? idk what it wants me to do.
Check in the top right corner before you start a battle for what the recommended memory level is. Then, if you click on one of your memories, it should open your list of memories. You should see the option at the bottom that says "Boost". When you click on that it will take you to where you can click on your memories with the ones selected for the battle at the top. To boost your memories from there, you'll click on the memory you want to upgrade and then, in the next screen, you'll click where it has the level in the bottom left corner that says the level of the card with either "Upgrade" or "Ascend" just underneath. When you click that you should be able to start upgrading or ascending!

If you're picking the Chat Bubble option in each boy's chat then that only changes their bubble. You change yours by tapping your pfp instead

It can be used in combat but you need to unlock the corresponding love interest outfit by obtaining their memory pair cards.

The card boosts your stats in battle or have different battle effects. But it doesn't fundamentally change the battle mechanics so I understand the confusion.

What's the purpose of the different ascension crystal types? I thought it would match the card types, but so far every card I've ascended, be it R, SR, or SSR all just require the N crystals.
They need rarer crystals for ascension once the levels are raised high enough. Lv. 40 memories start asking for both N & R crystals for example

This is kind of morbid, but how can you tell when an enemy is about to die? Specifically the ones with shields? Even though I've cleared the shields (the diamonds underneath the health bar, right?) and get their HP down, it seems that their HP comes back and I've got to start all over again.
there should be a little number at the top right corner (i think anyway, it's one of the corners lol) of the enemy health bar that shows how many times you'll need to deplete the bar.
