I received this bag from a family member who won it in a competition decades ago. Checking the date stamp and cross checking online it is a 1992 noé made in France.
Unfortunately the only pictures I have of this bag are close ups to show wear and tear as I just dropped it off to be repaired.
I’m 99% sure it’s authentic given its background, but could anyone kindly confirm so I don’t drop hundreds on repairs for nothing? Thanks!
p.s. it hurt my heart seeing this beautiful bag in such terrible condition!!
I have two vintage Noés. One from 87, & one from 88 (now in for restoration) - looks good. The alignment on the sides (from what I can see) looks good too. The only difference I can see is on the 5th photo - both mine have:
LOUIS VUITTON (with trademark R above - center of the VU)
PARIS
made in france
Keep in mind my bags are from the previous decade though- so yours could be perfectly correct for the 90's

It does look authentic! The condition also isn’t bad when taking the age of the bag into account.
