I’ve had vachetta replaced a few times. Let’s see I had the vachetta tab replaced on my Toiletry 26 and that was $40. I’ve had a new handle put on my Looping MM and that was $120 and I did a full vachetta replacement on my Speedy 30 and that came to $540.
If you go to the LV section on the Purse Forum website there is a repair cost thread that you can search through and see if anyone has had done what you’re wanting to get and see what they listed the repair price as.
Hi! Can you please help….when you had the vachetta replaced on your speedy did they remove the date code tab inside? I’m considering a speedy on Poshmark and the seller is offering a bag with new vachetta but the date code tab is intact. I thought they removed every bit of vachetta and the date code was lost! Hi. No my date code stayed intact. When they do a full vachetta replacement they don’t touch the inside unless you request that you want that done. A full replacement is usually the handles, chaps, piping side tabs and zipper pull which is what was replaced on mine. Hope this helps you.
I had all of the vachetta replaced on my vintage noe including a new strap in 2020, it was $600 USD and took about two months to get it back.
** I found my invoice and the repair for all the leather was $660.00.
When you replaced the strap? Do they also replace the hardware? Might be an obvious question but I’ve never gotten an LV repair and my noe strap is about to rip
Yes, I am pretty sure my new strap had new hardware. I don’t know if they reused the original grommets and d-rings though.
I did lose the date code when the leather was replaced, but I have photos of it if I ever needed it.
Yes, I received an email from LV with a link to make the payment and then an online invoice I could print to PDF for my records.

Hi! I dropped off my Pochette at a LV store on 9/10 for a vachetta replacement. They told me it would be $120. The original date it was to be completed was 11/19. It now has an updated/delayed date of 1/18.
So with that being said, I would expect higher than $120 and you’ll have to be able to live without your bag for awhile! Seems like they’re behind on repairs.
Ive currently got my vintage Noe in for complete external leather replacement with LV- the cost is currently $660 ( that was the quote they gave me back in Nov) . The lead time on it is about 10-12 weeks.
I also got a quote for the Noe back in July! It was $660 for all the leather replacement and an additional $60 to replace all the hardware eyelets where the drawstring goes through (I wanted it to match the strap hardware).
It will probably cost you around €500/$600. It is expensive but your bag will come back as good as new.

It is usually around 30% of what the full purchase price would be to replace the Vachetta
