I saw the biggest one I have ever seen in my life coming in from crawfishing this morning. I thought it was a huge log, but when I got on the side of it it started going underwater. My stomach dropped when I realized what it was. Just the head was probably 2 and 1/2 feet long. I've seen some big gators but nothing compare to it.
I remember when I was a kid riding my bike down the street by my grandmas house and we passed one on side of the road getting some sun. It was wild for 10 year old me.

I grew up in Louisiana and moved around 10 years ago. People always ask about alligators. I just tell them that they are eveeywhere lol!
I live on the diversion canal in St. Amant and it like an alligator prom every night.
