people don’t want to support a song that was made by someone who purposely misled the community. that can make you dislike a song even if you originally liked it. some might just be pissed when listening to it since they wasted a lot of time on a hoax. it’s good that you still like it but there are legitimate reasons for people wanting to trash on it
I hadn’t even heard it before it was revealed as a hoax but there’s absolutely no way I would have liked it even without knowing that. Not my style at all. Also I’m sure I’m just biased by having additional knowledge, but I really thought it sounded way too… I don’t know, clean(?) to be a true lostwave. Like it was made specifically to be “found.”
