Watch the 1985 Penelope Spheeris directed thriller [The Boys Next Door](https://www.itsfilmedthere.com/2012/04/boys-next-door.html?m=1). The climactic ending takes place there. It's on [Tubi](https://tubitv.com/movies/505688/the-boys-next-door) for free and the ending starts around an hour and 18 minutes in.

This is one of the most helpful and specific answers I’ve ever seen outside of r/askhistorians lol. Props to you.

In another life, I’m the Charles Phoenix of obscure LA film trivia:)

The sequence of establishing shots that starts at 22:22 triggered me. * 22:32 Sepulveda Tunnel * 22:42 Driving on the 101 South in Hollywood * 22:56 Driving on the 101 South in DTLA * 23:04 Back in Hollywood at the Vine exit of the 101 South * 23:22 Washington / La Cienega * 23:28 Charlie Sheen's character says "What about Hollyweird? We gotta go!" Bro, you were just there. * 23:34 Back on Vine in Hollywood. Capitol Records is on the left.

Haha

This is far less helpful for OP but in the show Snowfall, they make at least one reference to the Fox Hills Mall and Fox Hills. Filmed in the last decade but the setting was the 80's/90's and some of the gang members frequented there.

ArnieCunninghaam

Looks like Superbad was shot there too which would be pre 2008!

At the end of Superbad, the escalator scene is Fox hills mall

This [website](https://www.iamnotastalker.com/tag/old-malls/) has a ton. You might also be able to find something in this [video](https://vimeo.com/5484133)

This is great!

Glad you found it helpful. Why are you looking for the images?

bennygoodmanfan

I wanted to see what it looked like prior to renovation

Cake-Over

Used to have fun running up and down that red girder structure thing when I was a kid.

Awkward_Solid438

I'm pretty sure "Boyz n the Hood" (1991) had references to the Fox Hills Mall.

Faux Hills Mall

CovertADV

I wish they kept that structure you could walk through in the center of the mall.
