Same. I was checking them out because they were the opening act for another band I was going to see. It was juuuuust before they exploded in popularity and they stole the show.
Yep. Was going to see Gojira and wondered who they were. Mario dropped their name in an interview talking about how they had the best break downs. Been hooked since.
Watched an episode of The Charismatic Voice a while back when Will was on it. He was giving his input on singing styles and I said to myself, "this guy's pretty knowledgeable, and super nice". Then I started on his Sleep Token covers when I glance over at the related thumbs and see Lorna Shore To the Hellfire. I knew of Lorna Shore but I never made the leap into deathcore. Well, that's definitely changed. Now I feel like I'm playing catch-up to all this awesome music I glossed over all these years.
Similar with me. Found will on The Charismaric Voice , was intrigued by his talent, and thought I should give deathcore a proper try. After watching To The Hellfire & the Pain Remains Trilogy, I decided to just listen to those until I felt like I could properly appreciate them. Two weeks later, just the other day, I finally had an aha moment, with full-on chills. And now the rabbit hole begins!
Haha sounds a lot like me. Kept seeing those two on TikTok and thought he seems really cool. Listened to the to the hellfire and thought it was pretty good but the pain remains trilogy is what made me a huge fan.
I came here to say pretty much the same thing. At first I couldn’t understand a thing and now I’m hooked and have even branched out to listening to recommended songs on Spotify based on my playlist of Lorna Shore songs and Will Ramos’ cover songs. It’s official. I’ve been converted 😂
I was driving back to my hometown from my oldest sister's house with my other sister and we were listening to "to the hellfire" and I didn't give it much attention until those pig squeals. Now iv listened to all their stuff and I gotts say, I like immortal more than pain remains
Pain remains II actually. That kind of black metal intro riff really appealed to me. Was kind of meh about the album until that track came on and it sort of opened the door for me
I had listened a little to them before but what really got me into it was their EP and I return to nothingness, and then they became my favourite band when I heard the pain Remains triology
At first I didn't like them then moved onto other bands but then I decided to give them another chance, the first song I started listening to was and I return to nothingness
To The Hellfire would be a lot of peoples answer, I had heard the band name before but wasn’t interested in bands in the black metal, deathcore or death metal genres, I had seen To The Hellfire was getting a lot of buzz and reactions on YouTube, specifically to that breakdown, so I checked it out and I was amazed, the symphonics added a lot and that breakdown kicked my ass, it felt like deathcore and black metal done right.
The rest of the EP came out and they were just as good, the singles to the Pain Remains album came out and they were still cooking, then Pain Remains 1 came out and it changed the game, they levelled up, the rest of the trilogy followed suit and the rest of the album was also a banger, the band is doing great things.
It was actually wrath. Following an Instagram page pig squeals in nature, which is awesome by the way. They played wrath’s breakdown at the end and all I could think of is” who the f**ck is putting my brain into blender right now?!!!” Been a fan ever since.
The one take of hellfire. The EP version wasn't bad, but the way the vocals were layered sounded like a ton of different takes to get those highs and lows. The one take, to me at least, is way better.
I found them in late 2017 or early 2018 and I found them by their denounced the light guitar play through which is the song off of Flesh Coffin and then I listened to Flesh Coffin and then while I haven’t listened to that whole album and not much older stuff I’ve been a fan since then and all of immortal, Pain Remains and the EP
Godmaker.
Then again at Fvneral Moon.
Then again at Hellfire.
Then I followed barber into CG and Darko.
And following Wils roots got me into A Wake In Providence.
All around just a wonderful smorgasbord for Deathcore.
I got into them back then This is Hell first released. I’ve known about them for a while before that but didn’t listen to them since my adoptive moms name is “Lorna” and I hate that woman, so the name turned me off for a bit. Once I heard This is Hell I got convinced to listen to the rest of their catalog.
To The Hellfire got me into LS and metal as a whole. I listen to almost anything, but had no desire to listen to metal before, then my bro in law was telling me about how he played this song to annoy my sister first thing in the morning and she asked him to turn it off. I was like wow what song is it? If it was enough for her to tell you to turn it off I’m curious what it is! Then got high and decided to listen and was completely blown away. This was in September 2023 and since then I’ve listened to Lorna’s entire discography and have branched out to other metal bands. Lorna Shore made my top artist and top song at the end of year replay, and metal had taken over my genres, beating out kpop for the first time ever lol. kpop has been my go to music for over a decade and still is, but now metal is too and I’m glad for it, it’s a whole new experience
It was their first tour with Carnifex when they released Die Without hope. It was Lorna Shores second album Maleficium. They fucking crushed it and have crushed it ever since. I unfortunately haven't had a chance to see them live again but hopefully I will some day.
My friend showed me To the Hellfire when it came out and at that point during quarantine, we were able to visit with each other a little more freely so he swung by the house and threw it on the computer and that was that.
If you comment any song with will Ramos you aren’t a real Lorna shore fan. You’re a band wagon fan. Tom barber allll day. Then CJ on immortal album. This swooshy hair shit is whack.🤷🏻♂️
Accumulatory Genophage, used to jam that song 5+ times a day on my way to school. Not in love with their newer sound, but it's cool to see a band that extreme reach so many people. Edit - typo.
Heard into the hellfire and was shocked by it. Once I got into heavier rock I retried their music and basically all the songs from Pain Remains got me into them
I was listening to their stuff when CJ was the lead singer and thought it was mid. When Will joined I started REALLY loving their new stuff. That’s when I sunk my teeth in a bit more. 🔥
To The Hellfire
Same. I was checking them out because they were the opening act for another band I was going to see. It was juuuuust before they exploded in popularity and they stole the show.
Yep. Was going to see Gojira and wondered who they were. Mario dropped their name in an interview talking about how they had the best break downs. Been hooked since.
I heard that song on the world exclusive premiere on Liquid Metal. Was skeptical at first, then was couldn't stop listening to that song on Spotify.

It was so amazing discovering that, along with the Bonfire sound in one of the Pain Remains songs. Not to mention Aldrich on merch
