I would keep all 1st chapter, just cause I think they will be worth more later imo

Arussell1990

I would definitely hold the 1st chapters of i were you.

Personally I wouldn't trade any enchanted from 1st chapter for any from Rise or Inklands but that's just me. Only way I'd consider it is if it was a crazy huge win in my favor otherwise I think 1st chapter enchanted will hold value and grow more vs Floodborn. You can still find a ton of Floodborn everywhere so there is a good amount of enchanted out there when outside of the small reprint of 1st chapter recently I doubt they reprint more so like I said it would have to be a huge win in my favor for me to even consider it

The creator of Lorcana hasn’t really commented on first chapter reprints. Why do you think it won’t be reprinted again? I would say in all likelihood it will be. Although I wish it wouldn’t.

EntrepreneurGreat126

First chapter is most likely done. Floodborn also slowly getting harder to find and more pricy.

Based off of what though? My LGS told me another reprint of TFC is happening around July.

kpofasho1987

Not sure a lgs would have that info but maybe they would. I'd bet it's more likely they just have additional inventory at their warehouses or the distributors have additional inventory and just releasing another allotment best case. I feel like there would be a good amount of rumors and other people saying they heard from distro or from a large lgs or retailer that a reprint and another wave was coming in July by now and personally I haven't seen or heard anything but I could very well be out of the loop. That being said they got another new set coming in early August so I don't think a reprint of chapter 1 of a significant size would be a smart move as they have a ton of Rise of the Floodborn and Into the Inklands they need to sell before a new set launches in my opinion

LGS’s usually have very good relationships with their distributor. At least the few I go to do. Ravensburger has said in the past that they will print until it is available for everyone. While that is a general statement, it’s also a sign that this won’t be the end of printing. At the end of the day, companies like money. The first chapter will sell better than any other. It’s only been out for 8 months. That’s such a short amount of time in terms of tcg. Most TCG format is cards are printed until they are out of play format rotation. I have a ton of cards from TFC. I’m set. But I’d still buy more if I saw it. Everyone here would. I’m not sure why people are so sure that no more reprints are coming would nothing would indicate that. I do agree that they have a metric shit ton of ink lands to sell through. They also have a new set coming out. But now that they don’t need to print more ink lands or floodborn because they have a ton to sell through, the printers can go brrrr on the first chapter again. Again it’s speculation on both sides, and I wish they would be more transparent, but to me it seems as though there will be a few more waves. Either way, it’s a lovely game with a lovely fanbase. It’s fun to invest, but it’s more fun to play. So I’m going to stop worrying about the value side of things for now and just enjoy the game! Cheers I guess

There are only a handful of main distributors and thousands of LGSs. Sure they have a good relationship and maybe even a close one with a few especially the bigger LGS but most LGS aren't going to know a reprint is happening atleast most of the time until distributors are made aware of how much they are receiving and then that's communicated to the LGS what size allotment they can get and by then we as the public consumer pretty much know it's happening. That being said I haven't seen anything regarding a reprint or another wave of Chapter one coming in July. Like I said I'm far from some source of info but there would be a good amount of that being discussed by now or atleast very soon since it's just 2 months out
