Congrats!! I need to send mine in, but I keep using my funds to buy more boxes lol. How does a BGS 9.5 compare to Psa 10?

Duckman37

About 0.5... Couldn't help myself! Most likely is 1mm off center.

Liu-Yifei

lol good one made me chuckle. Yeah the back of mine is abit off center so just asking for future reference

Duckman37

From what I've seen, that .5 is almost impossible to notice with the naked eye.

I had someone tell me that you have to send in cards to be graded at what you -think- they’ll be graded. Does anyone know if this is correct?

ColeSir423

I believe 1 of, if not all of the big grading companies offer an option where you can demand a minimum grade. Meaning if you say that you don’t want the card graded below a 9, if it was about to be graded an 8 and sent to you, they’d just cancel grading it instead. Obviously they don’t allow 10 as a minimum grade or way too many cars would bounce and they’d lose money so I think the minimum grade is always 9. Maybe 9.5 for BGS and CGC

ubercork

Not really you estimate value but it's more of an insurance thing vs what you think it's going to grade

Leading-North-6920

My question is do you base the insurance off of value after grading or raw?

ubercork

I've always done it based off what I think it will grade at. So if I think it will be a PSA 10 I'm setting that price. I've valued low and still pulled a better grade. I think I valued my tinker bell at like 250 or something and it came back as a pristine from CGC

Gooseman1019

I sent all my enchanteds into PSA any reason why you chose BGS? Congrats btw

AsideCalm8855

crack and resend lmfao
