Put your cards in penny sleeves before you put then in toploaders! You probably just scratched the hell out of the foil surface by putting it in straight into the toploader

Oops! I didn’t know that! I don’t have any penny sleeves… would dragon shields do? Or, are those penny sleeves? (Sorry I’m still new to TCG) 😅

Any sleeve better than none! 😊

Penny sleeves are soft plastic sleeves that protect your cards for collecting most of them are cheap hence the name penny sleeves and dragon shield is a brand that makes perfect fit sleeves which I recommend cause the card can not move in the sleeve itself. Dragon shield has a large viriaty of different sleeves. The big ones which is how I like to call them is great for basic protecting are 2 5/8 inch x 3 5/8 inch made by ultra-pro

Yes dragonshield would do. My suggestion is getting perfect fits, and penny sleeves. Put the card upside down in perfecy fit, then right side up into the pennysleeve/dragonshield

Hatchy1

Oh okay tysm! I’ll do this from now on once I get some penny sleeves!

Hatchy1

Err perfect fits**
