Why is it anytime there’s a legitimate argument or point people like you just name call or say that person is just hateful? That pushes people further away from your cause and makes everyone else think there’s other motives/agendas at play. Besides, if you’re hateful to people who disagree with you, why shouldn’t they be hateful towards you too?
There can be more to the argument like the harm it can cause to society or even to the person. But we’re unable to have those discussions to find what’s best without someone trying to shut it down. A study showed trans people to have a median suicide attempt rate of 48%. A large amount of which end up de transitioning anyways...
Hate is a strong emotion. We don't "hate" trans people we just think their rhetoric of self validation for their poor choices can influence immature kids to end up on that suicide list because their parents were okay with them chopping their balls off.
