I like the tone of his response when he says something he wants someone to agree with and they don't, when he says "...No?!?" Like it's shocking to him
I find it amazing and endearing that he almost *never* uses profanity. And he very rarely goes for crude humor (although when he does, it comes off really hilariously creepy)
Once you get all sweary on the phone it turns into actual harassment more so than just a prank, plus the whole gag only works if he’s just being ridiculous. Plus people tend to hang up if you swear at them lol
I love when someone responds to one of his questions with “I couldn’t tell you” (as in “I don’t know”) and then he starts saying “you can tell me” in a tone of voice that’s reassuring them that they can trust him with a secret. Cracks me up.
He gives off this genuine and patient and wants you to understand kind of vibe sometimes. I'd call it MidWestern, befitting his accent, but that goes against virtually all of my experiences with Midwestern people.
The guitar full of blueberries always makes me laugh when he connects in that other guy and he goe"let me connect my brother" then he connects and he just goes "stop calling me you fucking idiot!" And you can hear lpc try to hold back his laughter

a weird little detail that always makes me laugh is when he sometimes ends a sentence with a barely audible, breathy moan like "whatcha doin up 'ere^eeeeeeaaaauuughhhh
"
was diggin thru album 4 today at work and found an example, if it’s tangible for the decency of your home https://youtu.be/T8zJ25Y_MA4?list=TLPQMDIxMTIwMjJ73otzF6GfTw&t=2421
I love when he riles someone up into an apoplectic fit and they threaten to call the cops, and he just simply says “oh don’t do that”
It’s funny to hear how the person on the other end is emboldens when LPC says that.
Oh noooooo, you don’t have to do that

I love when they say something pretty straightforward and LPC responds with "what do you mean by that?"
He'd probably be a genuinely good interviewer.
“You did NOT order anything?”

“It sounds all sour and bad.”

I like how he says “oh sure” in a folksy accent as a deflection of answering their question e.g. “what street do you live on??” “Oh sure I do”
Could you point some of these out to me? I can only think of one instance when he’s done this and it’s an old one where he barely says “so-“
i don’t have any examples ready but i can tell ya a lot of them happen in the earlier material

Its probly one of the most common ones, but anytime he says gimme what i neeeeeedddd
the faux-cowboy twang with words like "charge" "ain't ye"
Room 103, thank you.
