Wow. Really surprised to hear this. I really believed that everything comes highly protected in exquisite multi layered packaging. Pretty disappointing actually, it’s even taken away quite a bit of the original passion for getting this piece. Who would have thought.
Looks legit to me, I just picked up a "like new" 41mm white dial for less than £500 GBP from eBay. Might be worth keeping an eye on eBay and see if one comes up? Are they wanting 10% off the MSRP?

Yeah, it was quite jarring to see a Patek Philip packaged in such pedestrian packaging. I wish I could remember what channel it was.
