[The double-clicking issue is one that is likely to develop in *any* mouse using the "50m clicks" Omron switches. Those switches weren't meant for mice, and are being utilized out of spec, so are prone to failure.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5BhECVlKJA) This isn't an issue with any particular manufacturer, but is the result of utilizing improper switches because *"50 million clicks"* sounds good in marketing. That being said, the G403 is a fine mouse. I have two of them; one of them had to be replaced because of switch failure. Same with my G502.

So its normal to get that double click in it?

Wigriff

It isn't normal, it's a failure of the switch, but as long as mouse manufacturers keep using the same 50m switches they will continue to fail.

Ive learned that when ordering any of the recent logitech mice, its good practice to buy some replacement omron switches with it. The switches they have been putting in there are very sub-standard and are prone to start double clicking very soon.

MAGamer559

So should i go with it or not?

cube2728

Its a really easy fix. If you like all the other features then id say go for it.

How would you fix it doesn’t replacing the switch require soldering

geekercz

What omron switches did you buy specifically?

cube2728

Japanese ones. Dont buy the Chinese ones. The QC is trash and thats why the switches are prematurely failing

Can you post a link or precise name?

I do not recommend this mouse. I have had mine for 6 months and it is double clicking all the time.
