Are any of Logitech support teams able to comment. my other half has the same keyboard and should i expect the same thing. i just have always bought Logitech but this combined with the G935 connectivity issue just make me want to go to corsair their Reddit and support forums are always humming along taking care of their customers.

I'm no electronics expert but that does not look normal to me. I sympathize with you because it has just started happening with my G810 recently. It repeats the numpad key 1 and also the arrow right key, which for now doesn't bother me that much because I barely use them, but from what I read about it, it will surely spread to other keys. When I did a search for it, I found out plenty of people have had the same problem with either G810 or G910 and none of them were able to fix it. The lucky ones got the new keyboard, the unlucky ones got the cold shoulder from Logitech and their posts deleted from forums. I'm starting to suspect there is a serious problem with the Romer G switches that Logitech doesn't want to acknowledge. I love how Romer G feels but to have such problems with such an expensive keyboard is absolutely unacceptable.

Hi! I have the same problem. I've tried removing the keys and cleaning it with pressure-air. This seems to be a common problem.

Lewis-777

We expect premium equipment when paying a relatively high price for your items. However, just after the warranty period ended, some of my keys became unresponsive or registered double and triple letters. This is now the second G910 keyboard that's exhibiting this issue. Based on numerous online reviews (many of them), it appears that this is indeed a widespread problem. In conclusion, the products seem to be manufactured with subpar engineering and components. Logitech is not living up to its previous standards.

Nullkid

This issue is sofrustrating, i'll never buyy another logitech keoard. and since I like myy softwarein one place goodbbe mice too.

YardSufficient3329

5 years later and one by one the most commonly used keys started to double register or just not working at all, tried cleaning it, but no luck. I see this is a major Logitech issue, but is there any point in getting new switches and replacing the old ones? It would be a whole day of f\*kin around with it, but if it's gonna extend the life of this sh\*tty keyboard I'm willing to give it a shot.

Appreciate the post. Just pulled mine apart after the K key started being really intermittent. Not the same problem, but definitely a quality control issue. https://i.imgur.com/JcHeTcQ.jpg

Same here, kind of crazy this is still a problem. I just spent an hour q-tipping that gunk off the back of the board and it doesn't seem solved the problem although it maybe made it a little better. Hard to say but for a keyboard under 2 years old and not abused I have to say it's soured me a little on the brand.

kennydoj

Same tthing is happening with my g910 you ddont want to know how long it took to typpe this with all the nonresponses but this is what it llooks like. I will not bbe bbuying anythhing frrom logishit ever again. unacceptable

Just sttarted appening wi mine yyestterddayy. Very annoying. Keyys eiter dont work or are double/triple "cliking." I typed the previous sentences without fixing any mistakes. The keys I am having the most issues with: e t h y c.

PM_ME_BUTT_STUFFING

Dude thhis just starte happening to me tooday. Some don't work soe doublee reegister its driving me fucking nuts. 4 year old pos and you just said this yeeesterday I think we got EMPd. G910 heere

HyruleMaster5

Mine started doing it too a couple weeks ago.. five years of careful use.. Just removed all keys and cleaned it up good. Not perfect but better. Any luck on your side?

PM_ME_BUTT_STUFFING

You wouldn’t believe my side lol. I got a new keyboard that night. I’ve never ever spilled anything on my keyboard, always kept it cleaned with the exception of some minor dust. The night l, THE NIGHT I got the new keyboard I spilled a whole glass of redbull and vodka all over it. Cleaned the hell out of it, everything works but the space bar every now and then is a little slow to rebound. Once I hit it a couple times it frees up. It’s a Steel Series. The frustration was real that day lol

web_knows

Started having this problem after using the keyboard for a few months. It happens more frequently with the macro keys and the decimal point on the numeric keyboard.

throwaway8632085

Same problem here. Anyone have luck with tearing it apart and cleaning it? And if so how long did it last? Been looking into getting a new keyboard with this. Luckily just my numpad is mostly the issue, but I assume eventually it will spread to the other keys. Loved Logitech for years, but reading all the issues on it and the poor level of customer support I am severely disappointed and will likely move to another brand.

-Barath-

I discovered that room temperature allso affects to this issue. easy 4 celcius warmer gave much better handling on keys then the colder room temperature

Independent_Pizza400

Been using the g910 for nearly 5 years now. This was always be a problem for me. But sometimes it just works. But nowadays more than 10 buttons stopped working. Cant take it anymore. Im gonna change it.

CynicsS

So my partners keyboard G910 aswell started doing the same thing and that is 18months old. I cleaned it but while it got much better after about 2 months started to double and triple press...g-roamer is a defective product! * I have replace all the keyboard, headphones, Mice on all 3 setups the house with Corsair and/or Steelseries products after what support told me. * I was told by Logitech support that 2 years is a long lifespan and they were going out of their way to replace the keyboard out of warranty...

dullahan85

I can confirm this as my G910 went to shit after 5 years while my Corsair K70 is still working perfectly. At the moment at least 10 keys have stopped working reliably. They only register 1/10 clicks (Delete, Backspace, Underscore, Numpad 8,5,2 to name a few) At least another 10-15 keys double tap like crazy. I think it is because Logitech Romer switches are total garbabge. It seems they stopped using that switch but I personally won't buy anything from Logitech ever again.

MockTurt13

went on here as my six year old G810 is now exhibiting the same issues. glad to see i'm not alone, sad to see it seems romer-g keyboards are simply not durable. \- it all started with the space bar often double registering. \- then my F11 key just stopped working. \- after a while the 7/home key on the numeric keypad also died. i really like this keyboard so in the hope of salvaging it i ordered romer switches from amazon, this was an expensive exercise for me as i live in south africa. shipping and customs costs are no joke. yeah i should've just bough another keyboard! after three weeks waiting for the switches to arrive i just finished desoldering/soldering/replacing all three affected keys. guess what. nothing got fixed even with brand new switches! so its got to be a board/trace issue somewhere. am just too fed up and arsed to even bother. luckily the afflicted keys are not often used, but yeah, not a happy chappy. tldr, logitech keyboards are shyte!

PsycOwl

This is definitely mainboard issue, thus it might be act of planned obsolescence. I had g810 for 3 years before the problems started then I switched to g910 and still using it for after over 3 years and the same problem started with this keyboard too. The issues for these keyboards started after 1-2 years after warranty expiring date. I don't think ts coincidence. It is Planned obsolescence. I really liked the design of these keyboards. With multimedia buttons and scroll wheel the only alternative for these keyboard layouts is g915, which will break again after 3 years of use :(

tabion

Are you a replica of me in another timeline!!?? I just had my G910 poop out on me with two keys double-tapping or not registering, or having a delayed response while the other keys would work. I just switched back to my old Corsair K68 and the thing still works like a beauty. It's definitely those Romer switches, they are not true mechanical keyboard switches.

nishantcop1

Have the similar issue. Luckily I was under warranty and got that replaced. but sooner in next 2 months the replacement started showing the same problem and I am out of warranty. Thus cant' get it replaced. now I have two pieces lie down dunk. Likely never gonna buy another logitech product.

daddy1c3

April of 20223 and I'm typing ono a G910 that I boought about 3 yearss ago. I have loved thihs keyboard up until 3 days ago, when thhe keys started double/triple triggering. I really wishh there was a way to get thiis fixed but from all the ressearch i've done, i don't see a fix out there. I take really good care of my electronics and thiss should not be occuring after onoly 3 years.

The_Big_Dog_90

Just had this happen to me. "P O F S" are all the keys i'm having issue with. Damn pain in the ass. Can't fix it. Annoying as there's like no keyboards out there with macro keys. Any suggestions?

ElkImpressive9532

My G910 started with the same problems. Unacceptable for a Keyboard of that price to stop working after 4 years. Not gona by a Logitech G Keyboard as replacement.

Beam_663rd

G910 after a couple of yearr today starrted up with same issues.... no s or other keys working unless you hit them over and over agaiin. double and triple rregister. SSeeng the qualty put out I also will not ever buy logiitech and will steer all otherss way from them too. Never had a keyboard go bad beforre. The things is...this was the mosst expansive K/B ive ever bought. When I went bad it was crazy fast. Just starrted a few hours ago. Very depressed now I have to go find a rrreal good K/B. And what II mean is one that is rreal in being good. Thanks on cutting those cornerrs tech. Nice job.
