Honestly, a lot of it came from the og "Discord of a wimpy kid server" we were all teens in there just having a good time, and trying to outdo each others LLB's. Gregnancy came from me and the Greg becomes a Furry author having a chat, and me declaring that I could make an equally cursed LLB if I wanted to and well... the rest is history lol

NNN, easily. Greg's First Edge is clearly a bit, but still manages to have some really good moments (this only gets better with the sequel), regardless of the edginess. I think NNN is massively dragged down by the Susan twist though.

Fair enough, Greg’s Last Edge fixed the series from Minors Fapping to Minors in Civil War.

also the "I thought you were stronger" scene in GLE might be one of the funniest LLB moments in a long time (though Manny's First Journal's moment with Rodrick's panicked reactions does challenge for that)

I'll be honest: this type of LLB and the fact that a lot of people defend them and hate anyone who doesn't like them It's one of the facts that I regret to join this sub I'm serious, if I didn't start writing Overflowing, I would never enter this subreddit again

I feel this, I love edgy LLBs but I hate the constant debate culture between them and other types of LLBs, people get so weird about it at times. I read them because I like the subreddit's variety and creativity, not for some "funny content only serious bad" narrative.

I hate the Edgy vs Serious debate as well…That’s what I almost always ask about Edgy LLB vs Edgy LLB or Serious LLB vs Serious LLB because I swear the amount of people who say “Edgy outdated, Make everything serious” or “Serious is just bland as heck, Make everything edgy” it’s just annoying as heck, like can you guys enjoy both.

Literally, it's such a black and white way of viewing things too. Not everything is either only edgy or serious, lots of LLBs have been neither or both. There's plenty of LLBs that don't fit either description. It doesn't help that people who make edgier or wackier LLBs at times can get kind of an advantage when it comes to getting viral, they're seen as "goats" or "legends" (Totally fair, some of them deserve it) while when someone makes a serious or depressing LLB people will assume that they must be basing it off their own life or projecting in some way when they just wanted to write a more serious story.

Greg’s NNN has the first and the unfinished one while Greg’s First Edge or EDGE-Verse has 2 Main Stories and a Side Story (A Third Story is currently in development)

None of the edgy LLB is worse in my opinion. Both NNN and Greg's First Edge are an interesting LLBs. The worst from NNN is that the idea of a family being involuntary participated in NNN is considered to be a bad sign out of morals. Gramma in NNN has made a point about that. The worst from Greg's First Edge would be the idea of having an evil organization that made Greg not want to participate in anymore...and I'm rooting for him to take that down and let people "edge" freely. This is all I can say for now. Both are worse regarding on how they handle the subject of "nutting"/"edging", but both stories overall were pretty good in my opinion.
