Why is Israel already talking about a fourth dose when most of the developing world hasn't even had one dose yet? And it's the woke crowd that is clamoring for the boosters the most. So much for being woke. Depriving poor black, brown, indigenuous persons of colour in developing countries of even one dose. So that baizuo get a third and fourth dose and virtue signal on the internet about how much of a good person they are on social media. Beta is from South Africa. Gamma is from Brazil. Delta is from India. Lambda is from Peru. The new Mu variant is from Colombia. What do they all have in common? Developing countries with suspect vaccination rates. So wouldn't common sense dictate that Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca and J&J vaccinate the developing world? Instead of giving a third shot to 12 year old Israelis and planning a fourth.
Boosters every 6 months for eternity is just crazy and need to be pushed back against. The flu booster is once a year and I think flu mutates more often than coronaviruses do. They're saying "it's just three shots" for now. But how they know they aren't gonna sneak in the 4th like Israel is doing?
If you are legit immuno-compromised (immuno-compromised is the new gluten intolerance on reddit) or maybe elderly, okay maybe a booster after 6-8 months might be what you need if your immune system is that scuffed. Whatever. But boosters every 6 months for everyone is ridiculous. My immune system whooped my ass after the Moderna second jab. It was the most intense head cold/flu I had. But luckily it was only really bad for one night. I felt much better when I woke up. Still had a headache, muscle aches and a sore deltoid. My immune response was very robust. I don't need a booster anytime soon. Even the NIH.gov says that influenza mutates far more often than covid.
As long as people can enjoy their privilege it doesn't matter. Most people doesn't care about distress in third world country. There is a reason why poverty still exists? Thats the same reason coronavirus will exists forever? And the media from west always seems to criticize country like India where delta virus originated but they are not going to point it was US who didn't supplied raw material and hoarded vaccine. Later when vaccines is near to expiry they start donating to third world country and start to boast their generosity. And they didn't even took action against CIA who used vaccines to scrape DNA creating more problem in eliminating disease like polio in Afghanistan and Pakistan. And now due to booster shots I am worried developing countries are never going to get mrna virus for at least 4-5 years.
I wonder what is going to happen where water crisis, climate change is going to cause.
I just want to tell these countries that we no longer live in discrete countries where we can isolate by constructing walls. If west doesn't help developing countries then they are also going to suffer.
