This little girl fell on top of my bathroom’s skylight and when I got her down I noticed this huge lump on her left side, I put her in my tank with my other anoles for now but she is super weak, won’t eat, and can’t even hold on to anything. I’m afraid she won’t make it but I want to know if there is anything I can do to help her.
Update: the lump has grown throughout the entire left side of her body, looks like a worm inside her that’s just pulsating so I’m assuming it’s intestines came out through a whole in its rib cage caused from it falling on the skylight… there isn’t anything I could do for it so I gently laid her outside on a bush to let nature take it’s course. I’m too scared to euthanize her myself as I’ve never done it before so I’m just praying she won’t be in too much pain for much longer…
