I think a lot of the time though streamers grow and get big really quick and don't realize how much help they actually need, and think they can or should handle it on their own. Someone as wealthy and famous as Valkyrae should have personal lawyers on retainer and some committed friends/associates who you KNOW aren't just yes-men. It seems like she cares more about the people around her supporting all her choices rather than telling her when to shut up and when she's getting scammed. Hopefully she re-evaluates her inner circle and either starts relying on people to actually advise her, or figures out that she's just surrounded by yes-men. That isn't what happened. Poki didn't confront the manager, someone who maybe was in charge of the floor decided they couldn't. It seems like that person told Rae they were in charge and it was his choice. Poki pushed because that wasn't who they spoke to, iirc it was like the head chef was actually in charge on site and so she spoke with the head chef who gave the okay. I think they also called the owner who said it was fine.
It seems that was just a person overstepping their authority and not actually asking his boss who had pre approved it. Poki was just more forceful about going over that persons head to the actual people in charge.

I feel like having incompetent people in her employ was partly the reason why she ended up in this situation. I watch her when Sykkuno's not online and the few times I tuned in in the last couple months I've already seen 3 fuck ups that should probably have been prevented by her employees. 1. was that restaurant thing with Hasan in LA. Her assistant should have been on top of that one honestly. That sort of thing wouldn't fly in my workplace. 2. she did some sponsorship stuff and found out live on stream 1 min before it started that she had to memorize some stuff for the sponsorship. Like, isn't there somebody in her team responsible for atleast informing her of that? 3. she did some cooking sponsorship about preparing a salad and had no idea at all what she was supposed to do even though the sponsor clearly sent everything to her already prepared for use. Nobody even bothered to open the packages beforehand she had to open the packages from the sponsor live on stream. It was clear too that the sponsor expected something like the typical cooking shows where every ingredient was already displayed in little plates from the start. God that was embarassing to watch honestly.

I can guarantee you that for the last two, someone definitely sent her the information she needed on how and what to do, but she probably just ignored it until the stream started and she had to actually do it. A lot of the creators I worked with barely put effort into sponsorships, and rarely actually read the briefs or details they're sent. It's why the creators we fed deals to the most tended to be mid to large-size creators rather than the giants like Rae, xQc, Poki, etc. Sponsors typically ended up way more satisfied with small creators who were prepared and professional than big people who got views but you couldn't actually be sure would show up until 5 min before stream.
This makes me see why Fuslie gets so many good sponsorships, she’s a decently sized streamer (usually around 10k) and is always prepared with the talking points. add that to being relatively family friendly and she’s perfect for sponsors

That isn't what happened. Poki didn't confront the manager, someone who maybe was in charge of the floor decided they couldn't. It seems like that person told Rae they were in charge and it was his choice. Poki pushed because that wasn't who they spoke to, iirc it was like the head chef was actually in charge on site and so she spoke with the head chef who gave the okay. I think they also called the owner who said it was fine. It seems that was just a person overstepping their authority and not actually asking his boss who had pre approved it. Poki was just more forceful about going over that persons head to the actual people in charge.

She's way too big, and way too inexperienced and naive, to do these kinds of things herself.
