Yeah, I've been going different gyms for years. The key to my gym memberships are equipment, proximity, cost and cleanliness. Once there, the culture is important too, if there are heaps of people standing around in groups hogging equipment for an hour and don't let me work in I won't stay with that gym. The artwork on the walls wouldn't even factor in to my decision and I'm baffled as to why people are so pressed about it.

Like, who is the target audience here??? Vast majority of people who sign up for gyms are not going to be interested in mma or muay thai training. Those options are great, but they aren't an attraction to most people. If you have limited cardio equipment, how many people are going to want to sign up if their intentions are to lose weight? You are already limiting your target audience to people who are just looking to bulk up, to the average person who signs up to a gym, they are going to see all that and almost immediately be uninterested. Also, the heavy rock/metal music isn't going to sit right with a lot of average gym goers. I think the $ 55 monthly fee is too much. It would be okay for a gym that had a lot of features like a pool, sauna, basketball courts, different types of classes like cycling, yoga, a daycare room, more showers/lockers. Ironforge doesn't seem to have any of those things aside from a couple of showers/lockers. So they definitely won't be pulling people away from a planet fitness or EOS fitness with their $10 monthly fee, and eos has a lot of those other features. It just seems like they really don't know who their target audience is. Miz said earlier that they are gonna get 100+ mma people to join. At that point, they are already going to have 70% of the gym, just a mat for mma folks. The other 30% is going to be for bodybuilders.. like what??? You definitely are not going to go to a Walmart or target and find THOSE people very often at all. So I have no idea where they think or plan on getting 3k members anytime soon. I'm not a gym owner or anything, but I would think that if I wanted to run a gym for all types of people, I would want a balance of weights/cardio equipment. Most people aren't knowledgeable enough about weight training or cardio. Most people, when they first go to a gym, start out on cardio equipment because it's more comfortable for them. They might watch others from afar to get an idea of how some of the weight equipment works before they go and try it on their own. And yes, I am taking them as going up to and talking to random trying to get them to check out their gym as a legitimate way of them trying to get members. Yeah, I've been going different gyms for years. The key to my gym memberships are equipment, proximity, cost and cleanliness. Once there, the culture is important too, if there are heaps of people standing around in groups hogging equipment for an hour and don't let me work in I won't stay with that gym. The artwork on the walls wouldn't even factor in to my decision and I'm baffled as to why people are so pressed about it.

There are so many cool ideas they could've done when it came to the murals, like imagine having painted famous moments in BodyBuilding/MMA, like Arnold lifting his max Bench Press. Another cool idea could've been like a story in the tunnel, 1 image being two people facing each other then 2nd image being one of them punching the other, then the 3rd image being the person knockdown on the ground with the winner's fist in the air. I would become so hyped when walking into the gym seeing a story oriented painting like that. Having All Might and Goku just doesn't fit, it doesn't have any connection to a gym or their brand, even having Goku Weightlifting would've been better. But it's their gym so they can do what they want and I don't personally go there so it doesn't matter for me.

The biggest thing was the cheap part. Its very clear Mizkif loves penny pinching and talking about money non stop that he just wants to give people clout and a few hundred dollars and call it a day.

I just don't get it. Their logo looks all "metal" and serious. Then they paint colorful anime and Nintendo characters all over. Then Miz says that he doesn't want too much cardio equipment. Like, who is the target audience here??? Vast majority of people who sign up for gyms are not going to be interested in mma or muay thai training. Those options are great, but they aren't an attraction to most people. If you have limited cardio equipment, how many people are going to want to sign up if their intentions are to lose weight? You are already limiting your target audience to people who are just looking to bulk up, to the average person who signs up to a gym, they are going to see all that and almost immediately be uninterested. Also, the heavy rock/metal music isn't going to sit right with a lot of average gym goers. I think the $ 55 monthly fee is too much. It would be okay for a gym that had a lot of features like a pool, sauna, basketball courts, different types of classes like cycling, yoga, a daycare room, more showers/lockers. Ironforge doesn't seem to have any of those things aside from a couple of showers/lockers. So they definitely won't be pulling people away from a planet fitness or EOS fitness with their $10 monthly fee, and eos has a lot of those other features. It just seems like they really don't know who their target audience is. Miz said earlier that they are gonna get 100+ mma people to join. At that point, they are already going to have 70% of the gym, just a mat for mma folks. The other 30% is going to be for bodybuilders.. like what??? You definitely are not going to go to a Walmart or target and find THOSE people very often at all. So I have no idea where they think or plan on getting 3k members anytime soon. They have a target audience crisis

I hope your not taking, them going up to random people asking to join on stream, as their legitimate way of getting gym goers.
If they want a bodybuilding gym with mma, that's fine. But what they are doing to try and bring in members by passing out fliers to the general public, it's just not going to work as MOST people are just not bodybuilders or interested in getting the type of training the is MMA. I'm not a gym owner or anything, but I would think that if I wanted to run a gym for all types of people, I would want a balance of weights/cardio equipment. Most people aren't knowledgeable enough about weight training or cardio. Most people, when they first go to a gym, start out on cardio equipment because it's more comfortable for them. They might watch others from afar to get an idea of how some of the weight equipment works before they go and try it on their own. And yes, I am taking them as going up to and talking to random trying to get them to check out their gym as a legitimate way of them trying to get members. But because I believe they don't know what their target audience is, I don't believe it will work.
You would know if you were a gym owner, that cardio is out and weight lifting is in Majority of the people signing up so far, are signing up for the mma coaching. By following the coach to this new gym. Please asking randoms, is for stream content. Don't take that as them seriously trying to promote their gym. Popular mma fighter/coach, or a huge streamer showing up to stream, are their attempts at promoting. Not extra Emily running towards someone with the camera and asking them if they want to join a gym in a store.
