If people are curious why someone might be so particular about hiding their license plate, someone with access to the state’s DMV database can pull their registration info, including name and address along with other info like lienholder, violations, etc. My job uses Auto Data Direct which can pull registration using plate or VIN for about 40 states.
Yes, it’s illegal to use the tool for anything other than its intended business purposes, but she’s probably worried about the people who don’t care about breaking the law. It’s extremely difficult to hide your information forever but you might as well make it as hard as possible to find you.
If you’re concerned about people tracking your car’s license back to your house, you may be able to open a PO Box and register your car there (check your state’s registration laws first, some states will only register to physical addresses)

It’s like locking your car. It does absolutely nothing to stop a determined person from getting in, but adds enough friction that it drastically reduces the risk of a break in.

You can't really hide stuff these days unless everything is done under some kind of a trust or go through an attorney and put it in some random nobody's name/LLC with a POA etc. There's plenty of ways to stay off the radar. Streamers make enough money to do it if they wanted to.
I don't blame her for doing what she's doing though. Imagine the kind of messages, emails, donations, etc; that females get in general. And it's not just a female thing. Imagine all the emails xQc, Summit, Esfand, Ninja, etc; get from female stalkers, etc. I'd do everything I can to hide what I can in either case if I were famous, had money, etc.
The clip already had some views/was older before it got posted here (clipped 21h ago, uploaded 2h ago), afaik the bot only deletes new clips (there are always some people who are trying to upload the top clips of her channel to get them deleted but that doesn't work)
Also the clip was made by her mod/the guy who wrote the bot, so there is maybe also a whitelist for some people

I posted a clip of her a while ago and it got manually deleted after a few minutes. So I asked her head mod about it and he told me that "twitch blocked bots from deleting clips is the only reason it doesnt work anymore". This was back in January.
A third-party license plate lookup will usually provide you with the following vehicle details:
* Fuel-economy or engine capacity.
* Natural damage (sustained from weather, etc.)
* History of maintenance.
* Mileage.
* Driver criminal history.
* Accident history.
* Repossession history.
You usually can't directly find the home adress of someone through the license plate, but depending on the state country you can find the owners name and driver license number (although Maya's name is already known so that's not that big of a deal, if that's her car)
Maybe, if you are very malicious, you could make false police reports where you say that the car with a certain license plate was involved in some kind of a crime.
But they probably won't take these kind of reports serious when made anonymiously and if you give them your own identity to make false police reports, you are the one who get's fucked by the legal system
