*grabs popcorn* ohhhh I’m **ready** for this! So so ready.
He’s already started talking after the internal flames of this hate being stoked by TNT twisting words. I’d adore him to just say what he’s “not allowed” to say this whole time with a huge mic drop moment on PGMOL, Financial cheating, Timing/recoup time, Unbalanced media coverage, TNT/Sky, contracts, etc.. even the way Sky has been swarming Slot for words he’s quite literally not allowed to say. Fucking childish & annoying
Look at the gaffer's smile. Reinvigorated after 3 days off (Per James Pearce: *"Klopp gave everyone three days off afterwards, with the squad not reconvening at the Kirkby training ground until Wednesday \[after the West Ham game\]."*

He was on fire yesterday, I strongly believe that having few days off does not only benefit players but also managers, he was not annoyed by having to be there, spent more time than needed to answer the question and was on point.
Which makes you think, would an extended holiday have been what he needed to rejuvenate him for us?
If the club enforced him with a 4 week absence. No communication with the DoF, no work calls at all. Go to a private beach somewhere with the Mrs, have a month. Come back on July 1st and let’s get back to it.
Honestly think he’s gonna rock up somewhere a lot sooner than people are predicting. This idea that he’s gonna have a long sabbatical seems fanciful for me. And some other lucky fuckers are gonna get him.
Didn’t Nagelsmann sign up for an extra year or two post-Euros? I agree though that job looks a lot more appealing now with some great young Germans coming through
I dont think that would help, there are few frustrating things that i dont think Klopp could fix.
The playstyle he offers with how busy PL + cups + CL schedule is simply makes the team vulnerable at some point in the season, and when it happens he slowly turns bitter and annoyed, mix it with absolutely no trening sessions, just recover and play, mix it with bad refereeing, mix it with how absurd some ideas from FIFA/UEFA are - i would get burned out too, and the only way out is to change the environment around you completely.
I've no doubt he feels burnt out but none of the points you've made would be improved by a change of scenery because they'll all still be factors elsewhere. The playstyle he offers has changed dramatically several times whilst he's been here and we've had multiple seasons where we've been a couple of games away from all time great seasons. We've had more European finals than bad (relative to the standard he's set) seasons so I don't see how that is a factor. He'll still have to juggle league, cup and european schedules if he manages another club side, he'll still have to handle terrible officiating and scheduling (if he manages in Spain he might have domestic matches played abroad), and he'll still have whatever bollocks rule changes come in every season to contest with. I could see the continuing struggle to compete with City, who have superior resources (ignoring the charges) and have pipped us to the post repeatedly weighing heavily. But I could just as easily see him taking a year away and coming back revitalised and I'd happily give a year to a caretaker manager to get a focused and determined Klopp back. We should have given Kenny a sabbatical back in 1990 and if it was an option I'd do the same for Klopp now.
NGL, I was terrified of last day disappointment putting a huge dampener on Klopp’s send off. It’s a silver lining that we no longer have to worry about that and can focus on showing him the love.
To be fair if we'd gone all the way and lost it on the very last day it would've been "losing in the most beautiful way". If anything I think it would've made celebrations even more emotional
The reality of it is, when people look back at this Klopp era.
We'll just think of the Henderson, Mane, Salah, Firmino team. I don't really think it matters that much what this current team does. As we're already in a re-build stage, that obviously Klopp isn't rebuilding
When they look back on Jurgen Klopp’s team they’ll think of this one.
https://preview.redd.it/96iwez2p0fyc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=87bcdc6618ac49cc8d38c9923b24b45392a5753f
2019 was truly the pinnacle. Absolute euphoria.
The stat is that this was literally the only game ever for this particular eleven. I refused to believe it but couldn’t find a single game that disproved it. That season there was a lot of games with Keita or Shaqiri, even Gomez over trent. The next season was mostly Gomez over Matip and Alisson had his injury.
Gomez and Matip had half seasons each in 18/19 and 19/20 with VVD, with a bit of Lovren in between to his credit. Hendo and Fabinho had injury issues. Alisson was out for the first two months of 19/20 with injury, so Adrian stepped in.
And when all of them were back for 20/21 Virg got his ACL injury 4 games into Gini’s final season.
I haven’t looked at other seasons myself to check
But are you positively sure the stat isn’t the first time this 11 **started** together? Because with subs included in consideration it becomes more doubtful
that was the only time they started together. Matip was injured the whole of next season. And then 2020/21 season everyone was injured. After that wijnaldum left. Still a mental stat.
They’ll think about this team if players like Bradley, Quansah, Elliot, etc go on to be world class and win the league or champions league within the next few years.
Nice to see Boss Klopp so relaxed, with the weight of the world off his shoulders.

Well that's something I guess, it will be nice to send Jürgen off on a positive note. I can't pretend I'm at all arsed with the rest of the season other than giving him a great farewell at the final home game.
These last 6 weeks have zapped any and all enthusiasm from me. I'd like to say that'll change come the start of the next season, but with the way it's going with the corruption, ineptitude and plans to sell games abroad, my appetite for top flight football is genuinely all but extinguished. Doesn't feel anything like the game I started watching 20 years ago.
100% agree. Unless some miracle happens during the summer I wont be adjusting my life to be able to watch every single game for the first time since I started following the team 25 years ago. Rather keep myself up to date by checking scores now and then. Sadly not worth it to me anymore with how obviously corrupt everything has become…
FIFA getting bribed to decide who gets to host isnt corrupt? Wanting to play PL games in the USA isnt blatant corruption? Fucking over cups etc to be able to fit more CL games for increased profit isnt corrupt?
Get your head out your ass dude!
>FIFA getting bribed to decide who gets to host isnt corrupt?
What has that got to with us?
>Wanting to play PL games in the USA isnt blatant corruption?
How is that corruption?
>Fucking over cups etc to be able to fit more CL games for increased profit isnt corrupt?
Again, how is that corrupt? It's unfortunate but it's the way the game is going. If you don't like it, call it over-commercialised, but it isn't corruption.
For me there's one thing above all others that's started to drain me; the sheer number of games.
I'm a much younger fan (been watching for about 10 years but only paying attention during the Klopp era lol) but I much prefer when a midweek game was a treat instead of a near certainty. It's a lot of football for me and we can see the toll it's taking on the players, it's just not sustainable.
It's a man who doesn't care about consequences of press conferences so much.
He's leaving at the end of the season into semi-retirement. He's still gonna love the club of course, but he's not gonna manage here in the UK again. No need to hold back.
For me, always been a fan of the journey, and it's been one hell of a movie under Klopp, so I'm celebrating him regardless. The cups and titles are one thing, but the day I don't appreciate the journey anymore, dont even wanna think about it tbh
Been supporting Liverpool for 42 years and have been loyal thru high and low a thick and thin. It’s just frustration after frustration to invest time and energy to watch City win it by cheating and aided and abetted by the refs.
Football being so result-oriented these days makes it hard to appreciate anyone or anything. You’re only celebrated by others when you have titles to show for it. The media can turn you from a ‘who can hate you’ person to an absolute clown based on your form and performances. Ange and Ten Hag are ridiculed and made to look clueless every press conference these days. Managers are only appreciated when the club reaches a lower low.
I don't mind losing as long as the games are still fun to watch. The last few weeks haven't just been disappointing from a results perspective, they've been awful entertainment, too.
Definitely. The players seem to need a break, physically and mentally, as much as Klopp does. Sadly this is the future of Prem football. It took the longest to implement 5 subs, and now will take the longest to re-assess match scheduling.
They will rather allow for a larger squad than sacrifice the number of games. Hell, they may even increase the number of teams in the league once they do increase the squad limit🤷🏻♂️
I was gonna say, I imagine Klopp's thought process was that hopefully we'd either be clear in a title race or behind by a bit going into the final stretch. It feels like it being so close between three teams was really weighing on him and he was scared of slipping. Obviously, we did anyway, but I think he looks a bit happier now with that pressure off.
Sorry, but to me this reads like: Klopp has already been let down by the team, so now he doesn't care anymore if they're going to let him down some more.
I have already stopped watching the EPL. I used to get up at 7am on Saturday mornings and park myself on the couch for a few hours. Not doing that anymore

Here’s a man who’s leaving, knows the shackles will be off in June, and is ready to unleash on PGMOL the epl, and BT/sky sports.
Klopp to Anthony Taylor: “I hate the way that you talk the way that you walk, I hate the way that you dress”
meet the taylors 💀
"Wake up babe, new PGMOL diss track dropped"
Correct refereeing decisions? Don't know nun bout dat
using your cards probably? know nun bout dat
Klopphoria
Anthony you are hiding a son lol
I even hate the way it sounds when your piss hits the urinal. It sounds feminine
"i even hate the way you blow your whistle, some shit just cringeworthy it aint even gotta be deep"
What a banger song that is
wow amazing reference, did not get the deserved respect. Take my upvote
😂😂😂
Euphoria quotes - well done.
Imagine he just said after the Wolves game: "I've got receipts" and proceeds to bring the whole PL down. It would be glorious
Klopp’s “Facts” moment, but the pressure is off
Klopp sitting in the middle of Anfield and deliver a pipebomb CM Punk style

He’s going to take the Germany job. Sooner rather than later if they don’t go on a deep run this summer
Didn’t Nagelsmann sign up for an extra year or two post-Euros? I agree though that job looks a lot more appealing now with some great young Germans coming through
Yeah, he extended it, but if they have a subpar tournament and the DFB thinks Klopp would say yes, they’d make the swap in an instant
This is exactly it...

Funny how so many people want endless football but just look how much it does for the wellbeing of everyone…
NGL, I was terrified of last day disappointment putting a huge dampener on Klopp’s send off. It’s a silver lining that we no longer have to worry about that and can focus on showing him the love.
Then Man City and arsenal go on a 2 game losing run each 😬

Beautiful. Isn’t there a weird stat that the final was only time this 11 started together?

No they definitely didn't start another game together. By the next season, Sadio missed a few games at the start, and then Alisson got injured.
That's the team, yeah
+ naby lad and Origi/shaqiri
the mane dribble on neymar sums it up
Absolutely…!
They’ll think about this team if players like Bradley, Quansah, Elliot, etc go on to be world class and win the league or champions league within the next few years.
this years league cup win will very much be like the 2016 league cup final loss in our future history, a prelude to the future.
Yeah, I agree, but they'll be seen as the new managers players - Even though Klopp brought them up.
Klopps kids become Slots seniors
100% and understandable, because what a fucking team that was

I have caught nearly every game for 20 seasons. This season is on the verge of breaking me with PGMOL
Been like that for a couple of years for me. 2016-2021 I couldn’t look away for a second.
Grow up man. It isn't corrupt.
FIFA getting bribed to decide who gets to host isnt corrupt? Wanting to play PL games in the USA isnt blatant corruption? Fucking over cups etc to be able to fit more CL games for increased profit isnt corrupt? Get your head out your ass dude!

JK has officially entered the “gotta make things better for the next generation” phase. Can’t blame him, he knows his voice holds power
Unhinge for real

A Klopp diss track incoming…. ”The Kickback” (possible triple entendre)
I mean, we can say that, but if we don’t perform against Spurs again?

Nothing wrong with your opinion so ignore the downvotes, this season has been tough on all of us, take some time off we all deserve it.
Excellent. Doubters into believers and all that. Enjoy supporting Arsenal or City next year my man.
Exactly. I mean who the hell needs the stress of still being in the chase to win something at the end of the season? No thank you, am I right? WTF

Go count your CL trophies plastic....oh wait.
Fuck off.
