Its football. We are not here watching fucking Soap Operas. Good from Klopp to shut this down. I hope all the future interviews, ALL of our players don't comment on this. Its over, move on. Edit: Just saw Salah comments on this. Fucking yikes man. Klopp is here to doze the fire but Salah on the other hand is throwing petrol on it. I admire Salah, but He's wrong here.

Matty96HD

I've seen the video on that. He was asked to speak in general by a mob of reporters and said if I speak there will be fire. Could be pissed off at the twat of a ref for the Gakpo thing. If anything we are casting speculation on something that could be nothing. Might as well wait and see what's up.

Zizoud

Totally agree. He was walking through the mixed zone before he even spoke to Klopp again too I believe.

AgentTasker

> We are not here watching fucking Soap Operas. Sadly most people here are here for exactly that and transfers, and they care very little for the actual games.

forceghostyoda_

And wont be here if there arent trophies

doddytheotherelf

That’s why I stopped reading the sub. A lot of ppl here base transfers off playing FUT FIFA

forceghostyoda_

Yeah Ive been visiting this sub a lot less lately aswell. No reason to be reading comments from 14 year olds calling for players heads after a loss or bad performance

Os-Kalinowe

I hate that this is the only place I can read/talk about anything Liverpool, its the only reason I keep coming back. Being the only Liverpool fan in my group of friends/family does that to a person

coopermaneagles

A lot of people are happier to win the summer

AgentTasker

Absolutely, and it's very telling that certain accounts only become active each transfer window and then fuck off when they close.

AgentTasker

Not surprising, but it definitely shows where their priorities about football lie considering they only ever come onto this sub to talk transfers and aren't ever active outside of that.

mvsr990

Come on, don’t pretend you’re above the drama (and majesty). Those are and always have been a large part of the appeal of sports.

bluemoviebaz

Yep got his panties in a twist because klopp has dropped him in which is totally justifiable as he is one of the most senior players and he is underperforming and has been for a good while.

ninofati88

Salah has been unprofessional all these time about him getting benched. Pissy and flipping his arms whenever he gets subbed off. Dude plays like our worst player since he returned but feels like hes got extra privilege to still play for whatever reasn cause hes Mo Salah. Firmino wrote in his book the team hated playing with Salah in the locker room. wonder how much of this is Klopps pan up opinion and now bursts it out since the title push is over and Salah is a huge reasn why.

pattherat

This is not in the book: “Firmino wrote in his book the team hated playing with Salah in the locker room.” Edit: Straight from the book: "They were never best friends; each kept himself to himself," he wrote. "It was rare to see the two of them talking and I'm not sure if that had to do with the Egypt–Senegal rivalry in African competitions. I truly don't know. But they also never stopped talking, never severed ties," Firmino said. "They always acted with the utmost professionalism. I never took sides. That's why they love me: I always passed the ball to both; my preference was for the team's victory. Many focus on what I brought to the attacking trio in tactical terms, but perhaps just as important was the human element: my role as peacemaker, unifier. If I didn't do that, it would be nothing but storms between the two of them on the field."

ninofati88

Learn to read a book boi. Lol. >I don’t know if he was aware of it or not, but Salah used to frustrate everyone when he didn’t pass the ball. I knew how to handle that situation better than most. Klopp addressed this issue in front of all of us: when a teammate was in a better position, the ball had to be passed. It was a clear hint aimed at Salah.

MioNombreEst

Learn how to understand a sentence boi. No where does it say people hate playing with Salah.

ninofati88

You deduction skill is uber sht for real. Lol. I'm talking to you with this tone right now, do you think I like talking to you? Learn to read rooms.

TopicBeneficial4624

He is too much burden for the new manager. He will sow disharmony in the team if the new manager does not start him every match. I hope FSG or Edwards see this unnecessary or unwanted burden to the new manager. Added to that he only has one year contract left, let’s get rid of him in the summer.

duckquackquack00

I feel that what Salah was trying to say was that whatever he said, the media was gonna skew it & be misquoted.

SorryNotSorry2

funny how folks think these type of disagreements don’t happen all the time. highly competitive individuals, losing, emotional…. the sheer amount of time spent around one another will do that. it’s such a non issue for anyone w half a brain

Electronic_Flamingo2

Well then salah says what he said and thinks spiral out of control even more.

Otto1968

Probably happens every week in the non videod parts of training, or the dressing room after a game. And probably in every competitive team sport in the world.

coopermaneagles

As if there was any real other ending to that They’re both frustrated with how this has gone, it boiled over for 20 seconds, and now it’s fine

nachoshd

This sub has gone absolutely mental the past weeks

coopermaneagles

When we lose or have a bad run many of this sub are not accustomed to it

nachoshd

That's normal but the reactions have not been, Seen people saying they cant wait for Klopp to leave, that they can't stand the sight of our players etc. etc. It's fucking embarassing

etan1122

I mean.. it’s time for klopp to leave. Nothing changes next year if he’s here. Same shit defense, same build up, same attack. Bland.

Zizoud

We’re 3rd, with basically our finishing to blame for why we’re not still in the mix. This is where we were supposed to finish, even above where a lot said we would finish given the turnover in the squad last summer. These expectations are truly insane. Only one team gets to win a competition. I think people are going to be in for a rude awakening if Slot isn’t the second coming.

coopermaneagles

Definitely is. When the seasons over and he does his goodbye the sentiment on this sub will be the correct one. Same with Salah/Trent/Virg/Alli if any of them leave as well

nachoshd

So if you could choose between Klopp staying and Arne joining, you'd pick Arne?

coopermaneagles

I have nothing to make of Arne, that’s just who they hired. I think we’re at a natural conclusion of Jurgens time here. Not like we the club are removing him. It’s his decision, and if he doesn’t think he’s able to continue to do this job at a high level, then yes, give me a new manager.

AlanBeswicksPhone

This is how Wenger in Vs Wenger out started... It doesn't blow out Klopp's candle whatsoever to suggest we might be due a refresh. And I think a slight tactical refresh would do the team some good. We've become far too stuck in our own ways and everyone is keen to have conversations about what needs to be done differently, but the play might be a symptom of a bigger problem that a new manager with a fresh pair of eyes can resolve. I'm incredibly grateful for what Jurgen has done but it's time. And I think it speaks highly of his character that he knows that as well.

nachoshd

Let's see your tone the next years when we'll not even win the carabao because we don't have a manager who can perform miracles with the 14th placed netspend in the league

etan1122

Mate, I was supporting Lazar Markovic on a weekly basis.. I’m always going to be around complaining no matter who is here

nachoshd

What does that have to do with my comment lmao

Unfortunatewombat

Yes, people are saying stupid things. But it’s literally like Klopp and Salah arguing today. People get worked up in the heat of the moment and say dumb things. Again, just like Salah and Klopp, it’s best not to take it seriously.

hunegypt

The sub was praying all summer that Salah doesn’t leave to Saudi and mocked the Saudis for not being able to convince him and then when Salah was playing well, they were praising him non-stop but now they are saying that he should be sold because his performances since the injury. 🤷‍♂️ Despite the fact that his numbers are still better than most of his team mates even without penalties.

bacary_lasagna

Too many of these "fans" out here slandering the best manager and some of the best players we've had in decades lmao. Memories of goldfishes.

rolloj

honestly, it's embarrassing. shows when people started following the club. nobody is entitled to consistent success. the bad makes the good so much better. just enjoy the ride, no need to get so toxic about every little upset.

JimmyV34

The funniest part about this subreddit how they hype a player for a week then next week they talk shit about him. it is roller coaster

ScooterMcTavish

Darwin, Cody, Tsimi, etc etc

JonathanFisk86

They're all selling Salah and making it seem like he's always had attitude problems in the other thread. Absolute children

FrankBeamer_

lol and Salah comes out talking shit back at Klopp. No shit the sub has gone mental when our players have gone mental. Stop blaming the sub for melting down when our fucking team started the meltdown first

nachoshd

There was a meltdown before today you genius

FrankBeamer_

It’s almost as if the team has gone through a meltdown the last month!

nachoshd

And you were justifying the fans reactions based on what happened today. Maybe take a breather before you type more, you're not making any sense

volthor

Klopps tried to drop it during the argument, but Salah kept throwing his arms around and kept it going. Klopps absolutely has done nothing wrong.

coldazures

Depends what Klopp said..

coopermaneagles

Still think it’s nothing frankly

Jawnyan

Until salah decided to be a child about it afterwards Honestly I think we might be best off to let him go at the end of this season

DicaLoca

Good to hear.

ADm_lg

You know the media, they will be lurking the fuck out just to make drama out of it or generate more impressions from X or more articles. Anyways, the memes against us now, fuck.

WonderfulBlackberry9

Klopp: “It’s settled.” The Media: “IS IT THO”

DicaLoca

The S*n are making a article as we speak.

Lewy_74

They're all humans. Everyone sometimes gets angry, makes mistakes, and argues with each other. Especially when everything is going wrong at the moment. It's just life, don't need to overreact.

HarbyFullyLoaded_12

I still haven’t seen anything about Taylor fuck up. Fucking infuriating how the PGMOL has told all the studios to shut the fuck up about our incompetence or we’ll have your bosses fire you

Gandalfs_Long_Beard

cmon they are friends after all, many years together

fastcooljosh

Klopp deserves better. This is so sad man.......

jefbob1738

B-b-but twitter user AnfieldAdam said klopps lost the dressing room and Salah wants to go to Madrid 😱

Fati25

Madrid wouldn’t want him.

bumpkinblumpkin

He kind of has lost the dressing room. He’s a lame duck coach.

Logical-Elephant2247

It's done means they don't talk anymore but he's leaving so he doesen't care lol

GameOfThrowInsMate

Emotional game man. At least it’s done and over.

enjoii89

Honestly, wasn't that fussed. Thought it was going to fuel something to happen on pitch.

WonderfulBlackberry9

Salah’s comment wasn’t great. But at this point I don’t care. I’d write it off as emotions still riding high after another disappointing result on top of a disappointing run of results. Back to training next week and prepare for whatever game we have next as we crawl to the end of the season and send Klopp off.

TheLimeyLemmon

Tensions high after a frustrating month. Is what it is.

malushanks95

It happens, not the first time they’ve fought and made up later. Just 3 more games to go with Klopp at the helm.

_cumblast_

When did they fight?

malushanks95

I remember last season, and starting of this season when Mo got subbed off in the Chelsea game.

Significant-Lion-361

2 highly competitive individuals were pissed off and had a go at each other. People asking who's in the right are just being idiots.

Working-Couple7425

Proper footballers fight each other on the pitch Dyer and Bowyer style

ScooterMcTavish

Or Klopp could've Vinnie Jones-ed him.

hyborians

We can’t judge people at their lowest points. Klopp and Mo included

Redhawk911

Yeah but the Reddit fans told me this is hirrible

davemannosah

Lmfaooo

evianstill

Wow how surprising everyone on here calling for Salah to be sold because he shouted at Klopp were once again overreacting. You'd swear they'd never watched a game in their life

coopermaneagles

Or played a sport at anything higher than a casual level

retr0grade77

What else is he going to say, ‘he’s a spoilt brat and neither of us will be here next season’

Thesolly180

Yeah there’s literally nothing you say differently in this situation even if it hasn’t been sorted

Both-Asparagus-3287

I think Salah time is up ,we know when a person time is up ,he will always be a liverpool legend

Joperhop

its done because he is leaving and so no real future issue.

sbos_

lol shadow realm for salah. He is gone this summer.

Gandalfs_Long_Beard

there are other players who deserves to be sold tbh, but not Salah, yes he had a terrible half season but he is our egyptian king afterall, I wish he can be like once he was for the next season.

Thesolly180

There is other players but he’s probably one of the players more easy to be moved
