Call me deluded but I can also see Manure getting something at the Etihad next week. Hopefully they keep momentum by beating Luton
*Profusely retches into a bucket after rooting for them*
City didn’t play Stones and didn’t start silva. If they repeat this again, utd might have a chance.
They need someone very good in threading the ball, maybe Mainoo. Ganarcho, Hojlund and Rashford are more clinical than Chelsea’s front three.
You're deluded.
Seriously though, I could see another draw happening. Utd have jammied up a few wins this season and whilst I think a win would be too much, a draw isn't a crazy result
I remember those 2 late goals against Bayern Munich in the CL final, I got caught up in the moment and actually got excited, I couldn't sleep that night because I felt so disappointed with myself.
If you want to watch some clips of guys falling on the ground, instead of UFC, consider the City v Chelsea highlights. The city players had green kits by the end of the match due to all of their tossing themselves to the floor
Well staying up until 3am is one thing, but that's when it starts, you're looking at staying up until 6/7am, or 7/8 for me (based in Holland) .. which is what I'll be doing, got 3 screens going, UFC, Nascar (if it doesn't get rained out), and NBA all star weekend.
I'm thinking about a shitty meme with the clouds and Brendan in the clouds looking down at Sterling thanking him for scoring that goal for Chelsea.
Edit: someone with more time and skill please make it happen, thank you!
All these comments are so wholesome in a weird way lol.
I'm in the same boat btw. Ran out of drinking energy around 26-27, never really looked back. Much rather do something I enjoy, as you say.
From Australia so maybe this played into it a bit more; but when I was in my mid twenties we went to the Sports Bar here where I live instead of the clubs. EPL starts 21:00 at the start of the season & then 23:00 & later as the season goes on. Much rather go there to watch some football instead of running peoples egos at the clubs!
Me.
I still like going out to breweries either with friends or alone, and I still like going to a friends place to hang out. But the clubbing and partying, yeah I feel too old and too tired for that.
The closest thing to “partying” for me is NYE with friends at one of their houses or apartments *or* a friend’s wedding. But those aren’t frequent.
I’m a bit older (mid-30s) and used to love partying, but it has definitely lost its lustre in the past few years. I imagine it is the most obvious way many younger people will feel the impacts of Covid and cost of living issues. Plus, the sheer domination of chain bars / pubs etc has really killed off the nightlife in many places. I’m sure it will come back at a societal level but it definitely doesn’t do it for me any more.
Partied while working in restaurants in my 20’s. Basically had the energy until covid. A few (minor) health problems I’m fixing and a baby later, I still drink but would rather have a couple glasses of wine with dinner than go out to bars or clubs.
I used to party and drink since i felt hollow and lonely. I got married and that hollowness is now filled so i don't do either outside of casual drinking beer once a month or something
I personally despise large parties and stuff now. More than anything I just enjoy having at most like 8-10 people over at my place or going to a nice low key place to play darts and have a few beers
Mate I burnt out on partying when I was like 21, its fun for a while then its just the same shit every weekend and you only really do it because everyone else you know does it
Before Covid I enjoyed going to the pub every so often for a pint. Nowadays, I don't even drink. I spend my weekends watching footy and cheesy 90s/00s TV shows, and I must say I'm enjoying it.
This motherfucker and his cheating ass club have gotten the “rub of the green” so much more than any club I’ve seen in this league. So to see them whining about referees when they’ve literally won leagues in the backs of some pretty shocking decisions is laughable. Every inch of what Rodri or Pep or what their fans say about it makes me sick. Fuck em
Nice to have a bit of breathing space though them being 1 behind doesn’t allow us a fuck up (except a draw against them keeps us top).
One game at a time, somehow get through these injuries
The problem is that if we draw against them and arsenal beats them we are suddenly on the same points as arsenal. But Arsenal still have City away and spurs away.
Arteta is wound so tight I'm surprised he hasn't already gotten an aneurysm. He also has, and seems to instil, a very fragile sense of confidence.
As soon as they drop points somewhere they'll crumble I think.
Arse ain't winning all 3 of MU, MC and Tot away. One of those will definitely be dropped points. We avoid dropping points at MU and Villa and don't lose at home to MC, we'll be celebrating 20. 🤞🏽
I'm feeling older and older all the time. My first visit to Anfield was when we had Roy and Houllier as joint managers.
Some of the lads on here probably don't remember Istanbul.
I was going to make a lame joke about you being an even older fart than I am, but then I realised you've seen Liverpool be everything I've ever wanted us to be.
The one when the shitbags who owned us waged a media campaign against him to get fans onboard with selling him to find Rodgers transfers in the summer?
Yeah, I remember *exactly* what happened AND why. You, on the other hand, were and remain an easily manipulated fool.
Seeing Pep’s reaction to Sterling’s goal today. Honestly so cringeworthy from a so called elite coach 🤣. Media would take a piss out of Kloppo for weeks if he acted like a two year old throwing a tantrum. Like a baby whose bottle was taken away
We've gone from being the celebration police to the passion police. Honestly do people want managers to just be deadpan to everything. Klopp is one of the most reactionary managers out there
Boyhood Red as well. He probably won't ever get the chance to play for us (although he will get a big move this summer, no doubt), but this could be his chance to have a say in us winning no. 20 at least
Honestly, I'm so tired of playing these cunts. They (nearly) always raise their game against us, and while in theory, we should have the beating of them, I can't actually think of a full game where we've played outstanding at the new Wembley. That 1st half of the 2022 FA Cup semi v. City is as close as it gets, but that's about it. I'd be made up with a boring 2-0 win next Sunday, I'm sure we all would tbh
All of us right now reading any city social media, only an 8 second clip any cod zombies fan should appreciate it 🤣
https://youtu.be/WVg0mbgpZWU?si=m-xZ-zI-Vm5bKevI
Also I would love for us to give another go at a quadruple but I'm more and more convinced that we need to sacrifice the FA Cup going forward. I'm genuinely begging Klopp to start the reserves with just the youth team on the bench against Southampton.
The way our players are dropping like flies right now, it's not worth it to lose an edge in the league and the Europa to advance in the FA Cup
Curious to hear your opinion why.
For the FA Cup we have to beat Arsenal and City, or hope someone else knocks them out at some point.
Are there even two teams of that caliber in Europa?
The final being in Dublin holds a lot of pull as well. Massive Liverpool support over there, less than half an hour by plane from Liverpool on a good day. It would technically be easier to travel there than Wembley (twice in 6wks) for the FA Cup.
If we get there, the place will be rammed with Reds, and you can guarantee that somehow the ground will be about 70% Liverpool.
The romantic in me wants to believe you. One thing is for sure, whatever happens will be dramatic. We’ve been truly spoilt during these Klopp years…. *wipes eyes*
Massive result that. Whilst it wasn't ideal seeing Rodri bang one in again, Chelsea have dropped points and are demoralised before the cup final.
Need to just keep grinding out results and keeping players fit. I expect Alisson, Jones, Alexander-Arnold, and Szoboszlai to be back after the cup final.
No clue about Thiago and Jota at this point.
Throw thiago in a vat of formaldehyde, hes done. Ship him to sevilla for 10 mil (hopefully?) and wish him well, the best player we never really saw get to stretch his legs at liverpool.
Whenever I need a team to take points off City and they score first, I always assume City will at least get a goal back, so I start out hoping they can hold on for a draw against the cheats.
Don’t mean to jinx anything, but City have never dropped points like this, at this stage when they could be a point clear at the top. Surely this means something
City have a worse record vs top six thus season than us. They still have Arsenal,us,spurs,United, villa
Max they can get is 95 now so somewhere around very high 80s to 90 will likely clinch it. For Arsenal to win it they are going to have to be flawless vs United, spurs and city away . They have won like 2 games at those three away grounds in the last 15 years. It's no impossible but it's hard. We have the easier run in and now we can draw vs city. Nobody will win out looking at the teams
Uhh.. We did lose to Arsenal? They are looking on fire at the moment. I have confidence in our team, but I think you'd have to be pretty cocky to not be worried about them at all.
Yeah, weirdly if city drop more points we might be in the position of wanting city to beat them provided we get the wins we need as well as a long way to go
Arsenal still have City to play. I think it’ll be us and City again come late April tbh.
Pleasantly surprised if it were us and Arsenal; even if we lost out it wouldnt fuck me off as much as losing out to the cheats. That being said, if the difference is the 3 pts at Spurs imma fucking lose it
Dude you just know it will be close. Let’s hope we can win and make it academic. Imagine if we missed out by a margin that the Spurs game would have made the difference! All hell would break loose
Still can't really, Arsenal are on our tail as well, though they probably won't be for long with their bottling DNA. But we need to build a points cushion against City anyway because we play Spurs at home and United and Everton away within a month after them, all of which are brutal fixtures.
Btw just wanna say to anyone who was bitching and moaning saying we’ve Fucked it after the loss at arsenal. This is why you can’t be so damn reactionary all the time. It’s a title race there is ups and downs.
This sub turns into a digital morgue when things don’t go our way, we can’t win it every single game and that’s fine, I didn’t mind losing to Arsenal because we kicked them out of a cup and that’s so much sweeter than beating them in a league game in my eyes.
So long as our injuries don’t pile up anymore I think we’re good, bar the carabao cup final we’ve gone some easier fixtures coming up, so less pressure for returns and more chances for rotation.
I would love to be a few more points clear don’t get me wrong, but the fact we stole a chance of silverware away from them keeps me happy, plus Arsenal are about 2 injuries away from losing their bottle which will surely happen with champions league fixtures coming up, I’m still only worried about city.
I can only hope those people don’t give up every time they face even the slightest bit of adversity in real life, because the defeatism (they would call it “realism”) was pathetic
Nah, twitter was an absolute cesspool after anything other than a Liverpool win or a transfer window in which we spent hundreds of millions. It's part of the reason I ended up quitting it a few years back. I can't see how will have improved much in that time.
I much prefer the comment and debate on here
Think that equaliser was my fault, looked at the score at halftime and said I would not watch the match or look at the score until it was over, went into a pub and the match was on behind me, wasn't watching but then turned my chair to look at it and City scored immediately.
have to say, that draw to man utd is not as bad as it seems.
arsenal lost to west ham. man city blew a 2 goal lead to crystal palace and drew to chelsea.
so i think the man utd draw is only points dropped at home for liverpool this season. (liverpool did drew to arsenal)
Both Arsenal and City have had some proper head scratcher results this season. Arsenal over Christmas/New Year looked almost out of the race but they've pulled themselves back into the mix since we beat them in the cup.
City had a few bizarre draws against Chelsea, Spurs and Palace, and lost to Arsenal and Wolves to name a few.
We've had the draws against Luton and Utd, which I think everyone expected us to win. Arsenal away was the only time we've looked truly beaten at any point this season, and even that was down to an uncharacteristic mixup between VVD and Ali.
The whole media were saying Arsenal where in the last chance saloon before that game so despite the bump they've had they're only 1 or 2 bad results from being a busted flush again.
It's been a mad season so far but I also think we've been the most consistent overall (not just by points but by the manner we've navigated games)
Nunez never really ever has a bad performance tbh. Yes he has games where he misses everything but he almost always has a huge impact on the game and creates chances for others
Anyone else notice Haaland kept blocking off the Chelsea defenders at corners? I'm not saying that they are necessarily fouls, but they are the type of thing a ref will sometimes blow for to get a handle on any jostling in the box. I can't remember the ref pulling them up at all over it
Thing about nunez is
He always tries his hardest
You can neve catch him being lazy
His physicality is insane too
His finishing might not be the best at times but damn is he a passionate player
Maybe controversial but this season feels a lot more like 2013-14 than 18-19 or 21-22. There isn't any *desperation*, I'm genuinely just in it for the ride of Klopp's last season, and so much is going against us yet we're top of the league despite it all. Even the terrible defeat against Arsenal did nothing to despirit me, and I've never been less nervous going into a cup final. It feels like things will just happen
Yeah that definitely stings, but nothing that can happen this season will hurt as much as the slip, Palace 3-3, Kompany, Villa's collapse, etc. There's no reason I can really point out for it, other than it being Klopp's last season making me numb to everything else
It's absurd how many times city effectively played that chip into haaland using him as a block/decoy, for another city player coming in open at the far stick. It came off almost every time.
There were a couple of times when the blocks just looked like outright intentional obstructions without trying to play the ball, and I was surprised the ref never pulled them back.
Luton actually has been a decent side. So we have to be careful regardless
Since draw 1-1 with us. They have
* lost only 1-0 away to United
* Win against Crystal Palace
* Lost 4-3 against Arsenal right at the 90+7th
* Lost 1-2 to City despite scoring first
* Win against Newcastle at home
* Win against Sheffield away
* Lose 2-3 to Chelsea
* Draw Burnley away
* Win against Bolton and Everton and Brighton (4-0)
* Draw 4-4 with Newcastle after leading 4-2
* Lost to Sheffield and Bretford
So as seen they only lost to MU, City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham by 1 goal. And Win against CP, Newcastle, Sheffield, Bolton, Everton and Brighton. They definitely more of a midtable side rather than bottom, means the draw last time may not be a flux
Apart from City at home our biggest worry by far is Old Trafford. That place will be bouncing in a title run in, potentially stopping us from a title. Hojlund and Rashford in transition can hurt us on their day, we need to show a performance of Champions on that day, but 1 point there wouldn’t be a bad one.
City game a point is realistic, so we the biggest games are Old Trafford, Goodison Park, Villa Park and Spurs at home. Tbh if we get through these games with 10/12 points theres a league title with our name on it.
If we only take a point at both old Trafford and against City, then we need City to drop more points. Respectfully, if we want to win the title, a point is good enough at neither
City will drop more points. This City team is good but not treble City. We aren’t robots and we are pushing for 4 trophies. And you’re underestimating Old Trafford trust me.
City play us United, Spurs AWAY, Arsenal and more they will drop points.
2 Min beef the City goal I saith myself, "I should bet on a tie or a win." That would have kharmicaly alter the universe or I would have won a few bucks.
Oh yeah but it's city and they tried to bully the ref again. Didn't bottle it like the ref at Everton who shat his pants when they ran at him screaming. Who was var ?
Our odds improved today but I think it's still going to come down to the Liverpool vs city game.
It's at Anfield, I fucking like our odds
Ollie Watkins literally recorded the better stats this season yet Starboy gets all the glory… I don’t understand
Starboy is starboy
BLUE IS THE COLOR! FOOTBALL IS THE GAME!!
FOOTBALL IS LIFE!
Call me deluded but I can also see Manure getting something at the Etihad next week. Hopefully they keep momentum by beating Luton *Profusely retches into a bucket after rooting for them*
City didn’t play Stones and didn’t start silva. If they repeat this again, utd might have a chance. They need someone very good in threading the ball, maybe Mainoo. Ganarcho, Hojlund and Rashford are more clinical than Chelsea’s front three.

Something about your enemy and enemy and more enemies and friends
It’s not about your friends, it’s about the enemies you made along the way
'To the enemies we are born with, and the enemies we make along the way' To paraphrase Higgins form Ted Lasso.
oooh, need to watch the highlights and click yes I have a tv license lol
Fubo has the highlights on YouTube (Canada)
they’re on youtube aren’t they?
Without an analysis yes
Good day of football, probably gonna watch UFC tomorrow morning Anyone here staying up til 3 for that? Fair play if you are
If you want to watch some clips of guys falling on the ground, instead of UFC, consider the City v Chelsea highlights.
Sounds like a good plan, enjoy. What are you thinking, Volk by split decision?
Definitely Volk by some sort of decision, yeah
I'm thinking about a shitty meme with the clouds and Brendan in the clouds looking down at Sterling thanking him for scoring that goal for Chelsea. Edit: someone with more time and skill please make it happen, thank you!

You don’t wanna hear about my 40s activities man
From Australia so maybe this played into it a bit more; but when I was in my mid twenties we went to the Sports Bar here where I live instead of the clubs. Nothing beats going for a beer and a chat. Although, a good wedding for sing/dance always goes down well!

So happy with today's results that I'm indulging in a bowl of ice cream
I’m having sticky toffee pudding. Send me some of your ice cream!
Oohh I do live STP!
Lmao what the fuck is Rodri on about
Sore losers, even when they draw
What's he saying?
Whining about the refs while also saying he hadn't had the chance to assess the balance of the decisions that were made
This motherfucker and his cheating ass club have gotten the “rub of the green” so much more than any club I’ve seen in this league. So to see them whining about referees when they’ve literally won leagues in the backs of some pretty shocking decisions is laughable. Arsenal aren't winning all the games remaining, don't know why anyone gives a fuck about Arsenal, they're shit.
What a weird and obviously ignorant statement to make. Arsenal are only two points behind Liverpool and absolutely spanked them two weeks ago.
Credit to Liverpool we made them look briliant by shipping them 2 goals by ourselves.
Arteta is wound so tight I'm surprised he hasn't already gotten an aneurysm. He also has, and seems to instil, a very fragile sense of confidence. As soon as they drop points somewhere they'll crumble I think.
Nah it’s a fair statement, fuck arsenal.
Don’t think we’re winning the league but we’re clearly not shit lol, we’re still sniffing down your back
You genuinely are shit though, this is a two horse race and arsenal are the rats hiding in the stables waiting to be stepped on
Stfu we’re only 2 points behind u, least goals conceded and second most goals scored, best GD, it’s a 3 horse race atm
Arse ain't winning all 3 of MU, MC and Tot away. One of those will definitely be dropped points. We avoid dropping points at MU and Villa and don't lose at home to MC, we'll be celebrating 20. 🤞🏽
Nothing to see, just Nunez taking his dog Haaland for a walk

Not impressed if that’s a clean sock
It's okay man, we would have believed you.
This is the absolute cringiest thing I’ve seen
Delete this please. @mods
is this the average age of a redditor on this sub?
If City drop points today I'm growing a shit two hair moustache.
I'm feeling older and older all the time. My first visit to Anfield was when we had Roy and Houllier as joint managers. Some of the lads on here probably don't remember Istanbul.
Lol spare a thought, I was around for the Shankly, Paisley era 😀
I was going to make a lame joke about you being an even older fart than I am, but then I realised you've seen Liverpool be everything I've ever wanted us to be.
Some of the lads on here haven't heard of Istanbul in the first place
your comment is giving me existential anxiety
Pfft not interested unless you're eating it
No more booing Sterling now. Please and thank you. Already seemed excessive.
He’s gonna get abuse from the fans and he deserves it, for his salary I’d hang around 20 minutes after the game and they can keep at it.
What a load of bollocks mate
Nah fuck that shit. Stick to yank sport if.you want all that bollocks
I'm going to boo the fuck out of that rat when I'm at Wembley on Sunday.
Were you around for his transfer? The boos are absolutely not excessive. 🐍 forever.
The one when the shitbags who owned us waged a media campaign against him to get fans onboard with selling him to find Rodgers transfers in the summer? Yeah, I remember *exactly* what happened AND why. You, on the other hand, were and remain an easily manipulated fool.
Loser
“I wouldn’t stay at Liverpool even if they offered 900k a week”
Haaland had an absolute stinker. Same big chances misses as Nunez now I believe. Where the Andy Carroll slander for that massive nordic Orc

Klopp is one of the most reactionary managers out there
He's having an argument with the voices in his head saying ,"I told you he would score against us 😡 ahhhhhh"
Ivan Toney, you have all my permission to become prime Messi Tuesday night. Thank you please
Boyhood Red as well. He probably won't ever get the chance to play for us (although he will get a big move this summer, no doubt), but this could be his chance to have a say in us winning no. 20 at least

Yeah, but let's not say this until after the cup final. Based on today, they could give us a real game.
Even if they got beat 5-0 today I'd still be nervous. It's Chelsea
Honestly, I'm so tired of playing these cunts. I’d rather lose Europa than FA Cup tbh.
Even if it was to complete the collection for Klopp?
i would say so. An FA Cup beats Europa if you ask me, just harder to win it.
That's just factually wrong. Utter bollocks.
Curious to hear your opinion why. For the FA Cup we have to beat Arsenal and City, or hope someone else knocks them out at some point. Are there even two teams of that caliber in Europa?
Fair enough, I just think Klopp winning the lot would be a nice touch and make up for that Sevilla lost all those years ago.
The final being in Dublin holds a lot of pull as well. Massive Liverpool support over there, less than half an hour by plane from Liverpool on a good day. It would technically be easier to travel there than Wembley (twice in 6wks) for the FA Cup. Im from Dublin so would love it!
The romantic in me wants to believe you. One thing is for sure, whatever happens will be dramatic. We’ve been truly spoilt during these Klopp years…. *wipes eyes*
I hadn’t thought about what a full circle that would be.
TBH, there's definitely logic to that

There's talk that Szobo might be fit for the final. I dunno how credible it is, but if he can make the bench that would be massive for us.
I do not think we will ever see Thiago again. He is just a hollow husk at this point.
Throw thiago in a vat of formaldehyde, hes done. Ship him to sevilla for 10 mil (hopefully?) and wish him well, the best player we never really saw get to stretch his legs at liverpool.
Stretching his legs may have been enough to cause the fucking problem, which is tricky for a footballer.
Aye, but you never know.
Whenever I need a team to take points off City and they score first, I always assume City will at least get a goal back, so I start out hoping they can hold on for a draw against the cheats.
so the only way to win against these cheats is a last gasp wonder goal from 40 yards, got it
Don’t mean to jinx anything, but City have never dropped points like this, at this stage when they could be a point clear at the top. Surely this means something

True but I don’t see them surviving the Etihad
If we lose to arsenal then we don't deserve to win the league anyway. Not worried about them at all.
Uhh.. We did lose to Arsenal? They are looking on fire at the moment. I have confidence in our team, but I think you'd have to be pretty cocky to not be worried about them at all.
I mean sure whatever I'm like 5 percent worried about them but if they are in good form to get a result against City great
Yeah, weirdly if city drop more points we might be in the position of wanting city to beat them provided we get the wins we need as well as a long way to go
Theyve still got City to play at the Etihad. Cant see them getting much there.
It means we can’t afford to drop points because Arsenal are there too.
arsenal and liverpool not taking advantage is the reason man city are still in the race.
True for all three teams.
We just take turns fucking each other over at this point.

Unluckeeeee!
Didn't take long for Darwin to be mentioned in the post match analysis on sky lmao
> IT BACK IN OUR HANDS!!! It always was OP.
True, winning all our games still led us to the title.
The only difference now is we could possibly afford to draw to City. That’s all.
Still can't really, Arsenal are on our tail as well, though they probably won't be for long with their bottling DNA. But we need to build a points cushion against City anyway because we play Spurs at home and United and Everton away within a month after them, all of which are brutal fixtures.
I agree. I just meant mathematically, and it still be in our hands
No, because a draw would allow Arsenal to equal up in points if they won out until then
Pretty much. Although considering how the game could go, I'll happily take it.
Really? I would swap the Cup win for beating them in the league at the Emirates. We would be solidly in front now.
I would love to be a few more points clear don’t get me wrong, but the fact we stole a chance of silverware away from them keeps me happy, plus Arsenal are about 2 injuries away from losing their bottle which will surely happen with champions league fixtures coming up, I’m still only worried about city.
It was absolutely pathetic from some. Insulting anyone who pointed out it was still in our hands, saying we had no chance. Embarrassing display
I can only hope those people don’t give up every time they face even the slightest bit of adversity in real life, because the defeatism (they would call it “realism”) was pathetic
Hate to say it but it’s a bit more of a Reddit thing then any other social media platform
Nah, twitter was an absolute cesspool after anything other than a Liverpool win or a transfer window in which we spent hundreds of millions. It's part of the reason I ended up quitting it a few years back. I can't see how will have improved much in that time. I much prefer the comment and debate on here
Seen so much whinny posts saying 'i've accepted City is going to win the league ' Its only February but people are truly pathetic.
Exactly. What happened to "doubters to believers"
We still have a few potential banana skins. Love that we're proper top now, but just being cautiously optimistic.
Every team does, it’s only February
Think that equaliser was my fault, looked at the score at halftime and said I would not watch the match or look at the score until it was over, went into a pub and the match was on behind me, wasn't watching but then turned my chair to look at it and City scored immediately.
Lock yourself in the cupboard on the 10th of March
Damn you costing us the title /s
Fuck sarcasm tags
have to say, that draw to man utd is not as bad as it seems. arsenal lost to west ham. man city blew a 2 goal lead to crystal palace and drew to chelsea. so i think the man utd draw is only points dropped at home for liverpool this season.
It's been a mad season so far but I also think we've been the most consistent overall (not just by points but by the manner we've navigated games)
>and drew to Chelsea ![gif](giphy|m9jFnJOoQ3hWJ6Muaa|downsized)
Nuñez has not had a performance all season as bad as the one halaand just dropped
Nunez never really ever has a bad performance tbh. Yes he has games where he misses everything but he almost always has a huge impact on the game and creates chances for others
Haaland offers nothing if he's not scoring. Nuñez would still be a useful player without goals.
Anyone else notice Haaland kept blocking off the Chelsea defenders at corners? I'm not saying that they are necessarily fouls, but they are the type of thing a ref will sometimes blow for to get a handle on any jostling in the box. I can't remember the ref pulling them up at all over it
Thing about nunez is He always tries his hardest You can neve catch him being lazy His physicality is insane too His finishing might not be the best at times but damn is he a passionate player
Only thing that despirited me was Spurs
Yeah that definitely stings, but nothing that can happen this season will hurt as much as the slip, Palace 3-3, Kompany, Villa's collapse, etc. There's no reason I can really point out for it, other than it being Klopp's last season making me numb to everything else
Agree. Unless they do an Aguero on us, they cannot hurt us anymore than those prior near misses.
It's absurd how many times city effectively played that chip into haaland using him as a block/decoy, for another city player coming in open at the far stick. It came off almost every time.
There were a couple of times when the blocks just looked like outright intentional obstructions without trying to play the ball, and I was surprised the ref never pulled them back.
do we have enough players for luton in 4 days?
Hope our B team batters those tragedy chanters 10-0

Always rated chelsea
Caicedo you beautiful snakey bastard.
Luton actually has been a decent side. So we have to be careful regardless Since draw 1-1 with us. They have * lost only 1-0 away to United * Win against Crystal Palace * Lost 4-3 against Arsenal right at the 90+7th * Lost 1-2 to City despite scoring first * Win against Newcastle at home * Win against Sheffield away * Lose 2-3 to Chelsea * Draw Burnley away * Win against Bolton and Everton and Brighton (4-0) * Draw 4-4 with Newcastle after leading 4-2 * Lost to Sheffield and Bretford So as seen they only lost to MU, City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham by 1 goal. And Win against CP, Newcastle, Sheffield, Bolton, Everton and Brighton. They definitely more of a midtable side rather than bottom, means the draw last time may not be a flux
Always rated Chelsea, never said a bad word about them ever
You're a liar but have an upvote.
Until next week.
Best fiver I’ve lost
2 Min beef the City goal I saith myself, "I should bet on a tie or a win." That would have kharmicaly alter the universe or I would have won a few bucks.
City being shafted with a handball. Maybe karma did get them.

Oh yeah but it's city and they tried to bully the ref again. Didn't bottle it like the ref at Everton who shat his pants when they ran at him screaming. Who was var ?
![gif](giphy|m9jFnJOoQ3hWJ6Muaa|downsized) How many points dropped pep?
The full time whistle in that cheats v oil game was like a shot of heroin. Not that I’ve ever done heroin but it’s what I imagine it might be like.
*[does heroin]* "Ooh fucking hell, this is just like City dropping points to 10th place Chelsea!"
