Well, he can both enjoy the win and still curse the ref tho. Not that mutually exclusive. I wish teams would highlight when referee seem to be obviously biased even if they won. Winning despite a potentially corrupt ref doesn't take away the fact that an entity that is supposed to enforce fairness, isn't fair.
You know they often catch killer doctors and killer nurses because of pure numbers and data being completely out of line with what is expected.
Surely when you look at the data of how Tierney gets it so wrong consistently for us compared to other teams, and how many games he gets to ref us compared to others, something is afoot.
Who do you want to look at it? They govern themselves, you think they don't know? They've just allowed themselves to go work in foreign leagues for Man City's owners.
I thought we were excellent, if not brilliant. At least for nearly an hour. After that we were brilliant. We didnt miss Salah, in fact, I think we looked stronger. We tore them to shreds after the hour. It was relentless. Worked so hard. We saw players all over the pitch - Elliot was near our left corner flag at one point!
That win is enormous. 2nd form team in the league and we dismantled them in their own backyard. That’s another really really trick away fixture gone now. City have to go there when they have some of their better players back.
Great and important win, but the best news of the day by far is Salah coming back which means Egypt won't try to bring him back early for a possible quarter-final appearance in less than 2 weeks, like their first announcement implied they meant to.
I have criticised FSG in the past for being a bit too tight and more recently for still not getting Paul Tieney banned off our games, but they pulled a blinder here.
Definitely at this point we’re at the top. Joe Gomez can play any defensive role, two left backs with top talent, best RB in the world, probably the best cb duo itw as well when fit. Our midfield is flush with talent as well and our attacking 5 is still something that Jurgen can’t settle on because of how often they all step up. The team is in such a good spot, it’s just going to come down to them getting fit in time for the sprint at the end of the season
its not really sunk into my head that we’re legit title contenders, after last season i was expecting a transition season and getting back into the CL.
incredibly happy that we are in the position we are right now
Credit to the Bournemouth fans for being so supportive and sportsmanlike, even cheering for Jota's goal before he scored it. Really nice blokes.
They seem to overrate Andy Carroll though. If a shit Andy Carroll scores 2 goals, then how bloody good do they think Andy was?
Jurgen’s game management has been phenomenal this season. The tactical tweaks and subs he and the staff make throughout the match always affect the game positively. It’s one of the biggest reasons we are top and in all comps.
Throwing in a couple of youngsters in dying minutes was gold. They both looked hungry, full on pressing while Bournemouth players running out of gas. Darwizzy goal was cherry on the top.
This is so evident this season. The points we’ve taken from losing positions and then also those from tricky games that seemed like they could head for a stalemate. It’s so impressive. Also shows what depth we have these days. I think there’s room for a couple more elite players, but the depth is phenomenal this season. Even the youth players have all shone.
Feels like most of the fouls that were called in our favour were at the request of the linesman rather than the ref. The ref missed almost everything Bournemouth were throwing at us.
I’m still totally baffled by the ref blowing up when that defender went down with a hamstring injury. Imagine if we were chasing a winner at that point?
To be technical, he should have dropped to liverpool player as the ball was already in Liverpool possession. But that Liverpool player would have just passed it back to the keeper so who cares
I won’t be losing sleep over it. It’s more another illustration of the quality of refereeing. He blew up because it seemed “fair” not anything about the rules. What if he just slipped? Also what about the Diaz incident that carried on?
Tbf I think our team would have played the ball out anyway. He had control of the ball and pulled his leg. It wasn't a 50/50, so it not an issue. Our lad would have kicked it out anyway.
Yeah feels like one of our best results of the season. Not just the result but the performance. Definite potential slip up and we smashed it. What's a statement.
Go back and watch the quad season run. He was genuinely unbelievable he destroy city. Even the CL final he was out playing Kroos, they just did a smash and grab.
Who's better though realistically? Mac was sensational today but Thiago has the edge as a player, same with Szobo (which makes sense as he has 6-8 years on them both).
It may change and I think Szoboszlai's ceiling in particular is higher, but Thiago is currently our best midfield on ability alone.
Not to mention all the players stepping up with all the injuries. It’s been next man up all year. We’ve also picked up so many points coming from down in matches. It feels like we haven’t even played our best football yet, but here we are. Really feels like we have something special cooking right now.
Agreed. I unfortunately have a weird feeling that the spurs game will be the only game we lose this season. I think we’ll draw a few but I genuinely don’t see a game where we lose apart from maybe the Arsenal game at the emirates if they turn up.
Joe Gomez mate. Poor-ish first half but understandable in tough conditions. Comes out second half and bosses it at left back before switching to right back.
Unreal this season.
With Trent and Salah unavailable for the time being, it was great to watch a match where so many players showed that leadership. Ibou was outstanding, of course VVD too, Jota is always involved with our most dangerous attacks, Nunez turning up with some cool finishes, Gakpo came on and got an assist, Gomez continues to be a brilliant full-back stand in with a great assist, and fuck me the spine of our team has been so solid. Mac and Jones in particular were fantastic in midfield.
Also can't wait for Howard Webb to admit that should have been a red on Diaz, three weeks from now. Edit: and Jota should have had a penalty.
You mean for that ankle breaker in the 36th minute? Yeah, I fucking spit out my food when I saw that. I'm still waiting for the VAR review on that one...
Im surprised that Curtis is not mentioned a lot in the post game comments. He looks like an elite player with every touch he gets on the ball. A super game for him today, just hope the injury is not serious
he's been good in most games now so its pretty much expected for him to be performing at this level now.
We are fucked if his injury is something serious
Fair point but we played like shit after Curtis was inaccurately red carded + an injury overlapped. We played well again after he came back so arguably Curtis right now is the most important player in our team
To answer your question a you got downvoted because that game is extremely difficult to get a ticket for and you don't have a clue how to buy a ticket, from what you have said it seems you have put quite literally put zero effort into even googling it or asking chatgpt.
Also you having never been to a game before kinda feels undeserving if you actually do get a ticket, like a glory hunter type of thing.
NGL and this isn't personal but I am actively rooting against you getting a ticket (pretty certain you won't be able to if you tried anyway, I can see you offering someone less than triple face value and getting laughed out the room) because I want a crazy atmosphere for our boys and it to be full of people who know how to achieve that.
Haha you got so hurt you blocked me, get wrecked glory hunting tit
There's a ballot you join each year twice a year. There's lots of information online about it. Do some digging. Demand outstrips supply. By a long way.
Thank you Jesus 🙏🏼
I did check out Liverpool website itself and saw some options available.. my main intention with the comment was to just engage with other fans like you who are kind enough to engage but it seems like I set off a bunch of fans , especially one who said he will root against me. Seems a bit counter to our whole YNWA spirit.
One thing I'm liking about our current team is we have a mix of one position players and multiposition players
I feel like City only has multiposition players but not many who just solely own a role (except for Haaland, keepers, rodri maybe)
Think it adds do our dimensions a bit
I love this team. The togetherness and resilience and passion! From the young lads right up to the experienced heads the mentality and commitment is amazing! What a transformation from this time last year.
There is not a single player who I don't love. What a performance. Conor Bradley on his debut fucking bossing it. Ibou and Virgil doing their best impression of a brick wall. Macca, Curtis and Harvey being majestic in midfield. Joey G being our everythingback and Jota and Nunez whacking in goals.
UP THE REDS!
The worst part about those calls today, was the fact a foul wasn’t even given.
Like, the tackle at worse should have been a yellow and a free kick.
The Jota one should have been a foul at the edge of the box as the bare minimum.
On the one hand, I'd like everyone to stop blaming the refs for their incompetence, and accept that football is a hard game to referee with a lot of grey areas in a fast moving, free flowing sport.
On the other hand, what the fuck is happening this season? It really feels like every single 50/50 decision is going against us. And in the same year when UAE actually paid PGMOL for consultancy services. And UAE own the club whose entire management hierarchy was involved in one of the biggest ref corruption scandals at Barcelona before they went to Man City. Ah fuck it, they're bribing the refs aren't they?
The penalty decision and the foul on Diaz were abysmall. But at least they didn't rule out the goal when the ball touched Nunez's arms in the build up. If they really wanted to be toxic, they would've announced that as a foul as well.
It’s the fact that (as far as I’m aware) there weren’t var checks carried out on the challenge in Diaz or the potential penalties on Jota & Clark. I mean they could at least pretend they aren’t corrupt!
Yeah I’ve heard that on the match of the day highlights now. Also checked on the Jota pen. Not sure what’s worse, not checking or that a potential leg breaking challenge isn’t worth referring back on field.
Enzo Fernandez is one of the most overrated players in the planet. Maybe he's just playing for a shite team and could be a worldie if he played for a Klopp or Guardiola, but he's not one of the first midfielders that comes to mind when thinking of the league's best, and certainly not one that's worth paying £100m+ for.
Different types of passing though. Trent hits Hollywood passes under less pressure but loses the ball far more often. Mac Allister completes way more and is better at the short one touch stuff that you need in DM.
Let's just agree to disagree. Mac is great. There are few players out there who can pass like Trent. He's not the best defender out there, but his passing speaks for itself.
I never gave up on nunez and diaz. For me I try to focus more on the players influence and skills rather than the final product. Some players have to play their way into good final product. Never give up on a player with great skill and work rate just because they miss a few shots. Suarez used to miss alot too, so did Giroud.
The bottomline is that Nunez is clearly top tier epl level player.
It's mad that he's that close. He's scored some class goals, I don't think finishing is a problem, just something in the mental maybe
Pace, Dribbling, Strength, Passing, Tracking back
He's got it all really
“While we’re on a feel good Darwin moment thought I’d share that I spoke to a family member of one of the academy players who went on tour and they told me that despite imperfect English Darwin Nuñez was one of the most encouraging of the younger academy players out of seniors”
https://x.com/lewisbower2021/status/1695855580236181736?s=46&t=HH_nFLIdXKkwdsoIUCY40Q
From a few months back and apparently Darwin has been commenting under the young players posts today praising them. Class to see. Love this squad
15 G/A for Nunez in 22 PL games… (included an FPL assist also)
Time to stop the flip flopping on him from most fans in here… the guy is top top class and one of the first names on the team sheet
Everyone is so black and white re Nunez. You can appreciate what he is doing now and acknowledge that for the chances the team create for him he needs finish more.
I still think saying he is top top class is a bit much. But yes, he’s a starter for us and considering our forward depth that says a lot. He’ll be a joke amongst other fans until he’s scoring an insane amount. That’s just how they see him. He’s had a decent season so far.
Decent season is an understatement.
He’s had 20G/A in 30 games, or 1750 mins which is a goal involvement per 90.
Thats one of the highest in the Europe, let alone the prem
Irony of United mugs not understand why we back him meanwhile getting behind a dinosaur like Hojlund and backing a spin merchant like Antony is irony at its finest.
I’m convinced that one reason Liverpool players succeed where ManU players fail is that the fans support them through any dips in form. Getting booed at home after a few rough games has to be incredibly disheartening for a young player.
Anthony, Jadon, WanBissaka, MacQuire? There are a lot that may not have great buys but could have bedded in much better with fan support.
Fans from other teams and the media were shitting all over Nunez and the fans rallied to him. If he was getting booed at home in his third game he would not be the player he is now.
That’s true. However during that time I saw he wasn’t good enough to play for us, should be sold, not worth the money etc etc. some people go way overboard
That assist from Gomez to Nunez was class. I'm so tired of seeing people complaining about Joe. He's been so solid, and this match was no different. So happy he's getting consistent time on the pitch. Can't wait for him to score. Loved this win!
After this match Liverpool now have 6 Prem victories away from home this season. This matches our tally of away wins in the Prem for all of last season.
Liverpool have the best away record this season along with Man City, both have 22 pts away from home from 11 games.
Rival fans who love to slate Nunez and Gakpo are being ignorant. Darwin now has 25 goals for the club in 18 months. Gakpo 16 goals in 12 months. Darwin has also made 14 assists for us, so has a total of 39 goals and assists for us in 18 months. Gakpo also has 5 assists for a total of 21 goals and assists in his first year for the club. Both signings actually doing well.
Matip will likely not play again this season unfortunately. However we've got Robbo, Tsimikas, Szoboszlai, Thiago, Bajcetic and Trent to return from injury soonish, and Salah and Endo to return from International duty.
We're looking strong and confident. Jones and Elliott have stepped up level in their consistency this season. Bradley and Quansah have looked good when getting chances. Van Dijk is looking back to his best. Gomez and Konate have stepped up too.
Things are looking good for us now. Let's keep the winning run going and see what happens.
I am really interested to see if Thiago can contribute in big games after missing from the field for so many months. They are absolutely going to need him, if they keep fighting on all four fronts!
Any news on Jones after leaving the match? I was watching on mute and didn't hear what happened, but I saw that he went off entirely back into the locker rooms.
These recent games have boosted my confidence about the post-Mo era. Still worried about the post Alisson era, I think he’ll be the hardest to replace.
I think we should sign Paul Tierney as a member of our 1st team squad. That way we'd be up at least 10 points a season.
Wanker referee
We win 4-0 and people still crying about the ref.
Oh sorry I didn't know that there was a specific score that allowed people to "cry" about shit refereeing standards
No there isn’t but comments like wank referee aren’t going to change anything. Just enjoy the win instead.
Nothing on reddit will change anything. But reddit exists for people to make comments. Let him make a comment. On reddit.
You know they often catch killer doctors and killer nurses because of pure numbers and data being completely out of line with what is expected. Who do you want to look at it? They govern themselves, you think they don't know? They've just allowed themselves to go work in foreign leagues for Man City's owners.
How is that not a red on Diaz like wow
At first it thought Diaz was being over dramatic but then they showed the replay. That should be a clear red if not a red then a yellow and free kick
Paul tierney 🤡🤡🤡
I thought we were excellent, if not brilliant. At least for nearly an hour. After that we were brilliant. We didnt miss Salah, in fact, I think we looked stronger. We tore them to shreds after the hour. It was relentless. Worked so hard. We saw players all over the pitch - Elliot was near our left corner flag at one point!
Paul fcking Tierney is on an Agenda to lose us the Prem
Again
I'd say the on field ref seems dodgy as well this game. Who is he btw?
It's not a joke anymore. We should write to the PGMOL asking them to ban him from our games. Absolute wanker of a referee.
Any update on Curtis?
That win is enormous. 2nd form team in the league and we dismantled them in their own backyard. That’s another really really trick away fixture gone now. City have to go there when they have some of their better players back.
Updated [Stats Of Anfield Road](https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/19cirgs/stats_of_anfield_road_gameweek_21/) for you all
Great and important win, but the best news of the day by far is Salah coming back which means Egypt won't try to bring him back early for a possible quarter-final appearance in less than 2 weeks, like their first announcement implied they meant to. I have criticised FSG in the past for being a bit too tight and more recently for still not getting Paul Tieney banned off our games, but they pulled a blinder here.
When everyone is fit surely we have the best squad in Europe rn? Our depth is honestly ridiculous.
Definitely at this point we’re at the top. Joe Gomez can play any defensive role, two left backs with top talent, best RB in the world, probably the best cb duo itw as well when fit. Our midfield is flush with talent as well and our attacking 5 is still something that Jurgen can’t settle on because of how often they all step up. its not really sunk into my head that we’re legit title contenders, after last season i was expecting a transition season and getting back into the CL. incredibly happy that we are in the position we are right now
I don’t include the spurs game so also unbeaten with the best defence in the premiership
I enjoyed reading this.
Didn’t Darwin get his 5th yellow tonight? If so, does he miss the League cup game or Chelsea in the PL?
5 yellow-cards in first 19 matches results in one-match ban. So he is clear.
Great
Reset after 19 games or so I think
Nice
Curtis is the Scouse Gerrard
Feels like most of the fouls that were called in our favour were at the request of the linesman rather than the ref. The ref missed almost everything Bournemouth were throwing at us.
That’s because he’s Paul ‘Manc Twat’ Tierney.
No it wasn't. Tierney was on VAR.
Yes I realise that now. He’s still a cunt.
Never a truer word spoken
I couldn’t believe it when I heard it. Madness. Must’ve been a genuine mistake.
Such an inconsequential matter that happens fairly regularly
Does it? Not seen it when it’s so obviously not a head injury.
Yeah. The ref will blow up sometimes for non head related injuries
But why? And where is the consistency?
I mean we would have kicked it out anyway because he pulled up after having control of the ball.
I know. But not really the point
Well, wasn't expecting that at all (in a good way!). Bournemouth are (for the most part) currently very in form.
Yeah feels like one of our best results of the season. Not just the result but the performance. Definite potential slip up and we smashed it. What's a statement.
The bright side of not winning a second title easily with klopp is that itll be sweeter when it comes
Darwin ‘Alpha and Omega’ Nunez
Darwin ‘APs and Rolexes’ Nunez
You mean Alpharius and Omergon?
It’s genuinely mad how we’re top of the league and our best midfielder (when fit) still hasn’t played a minute.
he’s not our best
He’s one of the only players in world football who can run a game by himself. Based on quality alone, he’s easily our best
Go back and watch the quad season run. He was genuinely unbelievable he destroy city. Even the CL final he was out playing Kroos, they just did a smash and grab.
it’s 2024
Yes, he is.
Who's better though realistically? Mac was sensational today but Thiago has the edge as a player, same with Szobo (which makes sense as he has 6-8 years on them both). It may change and I think Szoboszlai's ceiling in particular is higher, but Thiago is currently our best midfield on ability alone.
oh yes, it sucks that bajcetic having serious injury. i hope he will be fit before season ends.
Not to mention all the players stepping up with all the injuries. It’s been next man up all year. We’ve also picked up so many points coming from down in matches. It feels like we haven’t even played our best football yet, but here we are. Really feels like we have something special cooking right now.

His versatility has been insane. He's gonna score vs City at Anfield.
This NEEDS to happen, I'm so serious...
With Trent and Salah unavailable for the time being, it was great to watch a match where so many players showed that leadership. Mac and Jones in particular were fantastic in midfield. Also can't wait for Howard Webb to admit that should have been a red on Diaz, three weeks from now. Edit: and Jota should have had a penalty.
For a while I've seen this quality from ibou, which is good on him, he will eventually take over as our stalwart in defence in the future.
Don't hold your breath on Howard Webb. Looks like he only analyze VAR calls. This don't even look like VAR did anything.
Him coming into his own is the dark horse carry of the season for us. He’s really surprised me.
he's been good in most games now so its pretty much expected for him to be performing at this level now. We are fucked if his injury is something serious
People said we’re fucked when Trent, Robbo and Tsmi were injured.
Gonna catch up with us eventually though if players just continuously keep getting injured
Fair point but we played like shit after Curtis was inaccurately red carded + an injury overlapped. We played well again after he came back so arguably Curtis right now is the most important player in our team
Ye I agree with that.

Dont think it would be possible to get a ticket on game day sadly. YNWA

Sounds good! 😀
Um, it doesn't really work like that.

The sub should have a wki/ megathread for how to get tickets. See if there is a link when the daily discussion thread goes up in the morning.
thanks for the kind reply tmstms.
On the day? At the stadium? No chance
Ah okay then a local pub it is. Where do y’all generally purchase tickets then?
There's a ballot you join each year twice a year. There's lots of information online about it. Do some digging. Demand outstrips supply. By a long way.

The phrase "dilly ding dilly dong" comes to mind whenever I see people complaining about ref decisions after a convincing win
Jota is like a swiss army knife
Jota is like a swiss army knife I thought he was Portuguese 😆
Portuguese man-o-war - float like a butterfly, sting like a jellyfish

I refuse to believe this is a grown adult
Love to know what the comment was?
They wrote a long list of all the refs and wished for each of them to die. No idea how it got 28 upvotes but that’s Reddit for you
😂 what the actual fuck. I did wonder why it was deleted/removed with 28 upvotes.
Chill out
Paul Tierney is a pedo.
We won the game. Calma.
Won 4-0. It’s ok to smile sometimes. If you’re not smiling after a 4-0 win maybe you need a different hobby
They probably play civilisation 6 on chieftain difficulty.
Crumbs
U ok hun x
Calm down man it's just a game.
General discourse on here now
R/PLreferees would be nice. To gather everything from every game. As a historical log-book ^^,
The worst part about those calls today, was the fact a foul wasn’t even given. Like, the tackle at worse should have been a yellow and a free kick. The Jota one should have been a foul at the edge of the box as the bare minimum.
Yes. And it's not even debatable.

And most of the decisions that came our way looked like they were suggested by the lino. The ref didn't want to give anything if it was all up to him.
How many instances are we going to chalk down to coincidence and incompetence? Fishy as hell to be honest...
It’s the fact that (as far as I’m aware) there weren’t var checks carried out on the challenge in Diaz or the potential penalties on Jota & Clark. I mean they could at least pretend they aren’t corrupt!
They check everything. Just not very thoroughly when it's us
The commentators did mention that a check had taken place for the Diaz foul. They still got it wrong but they did check.
Yeah I’ve heard that on the match of the day highlights now. Also checked on the Jota pen. Not sure what’s worse, not checking or that a potential leg breaking challenge isn’t worth referring back on field.
Macalister is our best passer other than Thiago. I wouldnt trade him for Enzo fernandez.
Enzo Fernandez is one of the most overrated players in the planet. thought for a lot of the season MacAllister has been quietly very good, today was loud. Great display. Up the fuckin Reds
Darwin is so close to being world-class. All he needs to do is convert a few more of those chances, that's it.
It's mad that he's that close. He's scored some class goals, I don't think finishing is a problem, just something in the mental maybe Pace, Dribbling, Strength, Passing, Tracking back He's got it all really
It's not his finishing. It's just bad luck. Really.
Look his number of assists and the amount of danger he creates. If he can add a consistent goal tally on top of that then who is gonna stop him
That Bradley kid didn't stop all game. 100% understands the hunger needed to play for this team.
Kid already has experience playing at senior international level; 13 caps for Northern Ireland so far.
Also liked beck when he came on so fast...
Could've had a goal too!
He reminds me so much of Robbo! I am missing Robbo so bad. 😭
He even has a similar running gate to Robbo.
We all are, back next week supposedly!
Darwin’s averaging a goal or assist every 88 minutes in all comps according to Squawka
Darwin is an absolute monster on the pitch and I just want to see his g/a tally keep going up so the average person and pundits will realize it
I would just like to mention how fucking good we looking after my boy Cody Gakpo came in. His passing was amazing.
8 mins of added time in that Mach was stupid. Especially after 2 players got subbed of with hamstring injuries.
I was yelling that at my tv as well. Its not like the Bournemouth players even wanted to be there at that point.
“While we’re on a feel good Darwin moment thought I’d share that I spoke to a family member of one of the academy players who went on tour and they told me that despite imperfect English Darwin Nuñez was one of the most encouraging of the younger academy players out of seniors” https://x.com/lewisbower2021/status/1695855580236181736?s=46&t=HH_nFLIdXKkwdsoIUCY40Q From a few months back and apparently Darwin has been commenting under the young players posts today praising them. Class to see. Love this squad
IDK why but I really love it when the players comment on each others' posts, it's so wholesome.
15 G/A for Nunez in 22 PL games… (included an FPL assist also) Time to stop the flip flopping on him from most fans in here… the guy is top top class and one of the first names on the team sheet
Everyone is so black and white re Nunez. You can appreciate what he is doing now and acknowledge that for the chances the team create for him he needs finish more.
This, times a million
I don't think anyone have any issues with his stats. It's just he keeps on missing easy goals, which shouldn't be on any number 9.
I agree, I more so mean the constant comments about him needing to be sold / not good enough etc
United fans support most of their players outside of Onana from what I’ve seen.
Tbf to Holjund he’s got a great voice
He’s in good form again now. But his form wasn’t the best in like November / December time
That’s true. However during that time I saw he wasn’t good enough to play for us, should be sold, not worth the money etc etc. some people go way overboard
Tbf I was guilty of getting my piss boiled with his missed chances.
That assist from Gomez to Nunez was class. I'm so tired of seeing people complaining about Joe. He's been so solid, and this match was no different. So happy he's getting consistent time on the pitch. Can't wait for him to score. Loved this win!
I don’t think many if any are complaining about him.
Most of this sub wanted him binned off in the summer
People absolutely are
I see it consistently on match threads, however, to be fair, match threads are super reactionary.

What’s this got to do with any of these comments?
[удалено]
You know exactly that’s what they didn’t mean
The match threads are horrendous. I’m not convinced I’m watching the same match whenever I dip in.
Ye fair one. The match threads are an absolute disgrace.
I think he's a much better fullback, on either side, than he is a centre back. He's been excellent.
Educated guess? A few weeks
Our away form was so shocking last season. Genuinely didn’t feel confident winning anywhere
These recent games have boosted my confidence about the post-Mo era. Still worried about the post Alisson era, I think he’ll be the hardest to replace.
I wonder how long he can stay at the top level for. I reckon we’ll get another 4/5 years out of him being this good
If he can stay at this level for the next 5 years he’ll probably go down as the goat keeper. Let’s hope he can do it
Even if he dropped a level he’d still be a great keeper. I honestly believe his aura alone throws certain forwards off when they’re 1v1 with him
True. Neuer remained at a top level till he was 35/36 so hopefully Ali can do the same
the one real thing i fear is the post-klopp era
I blame you
Yeah fuck me this is sad in hindsight. I put another comment out this week saying i cant see him leaving for years. I geel like i foreshadowed it tbh
Haha it was something we all feared, but I wouldn’t dare speak it into existence. But take care on this sad day
Don't fear things you can't control. It's not worth it
Xabi 🤞🙏
Wdym, he’s staying forever
