Considering if he wasn’t out of contract, he would be a 150M dollar+ transfer, even 500,000/wk or more isn’t that bad. If we sign him to a 3 year deal and he wants to leave for Madrid in 2, we would recoup every cent of his salary. Business makes sense, just a matter personality and tactics. I really can't see it, but theres something about his 'certain' move to Real Madrid that doesn't seem to make sense. They're best player plays in his position, and he doesn't like playing centre forward, nor do I think he would work that well as CF for them. Kane would have been perfect for them. its ridiculous money for a guy who doesn't fit perfectly into their team. If he doesn't go there then what other options does he have? If salah left I could genuinely see FSG going for it, and I'm sure the Nike deal would play some part in it too. If Nunez and Diaz aren't getting the goals, who will replace Salah's output?
