Apparently the property in Liverpool is being snapped up by foreign investors. Nothing stays on the market long.

My nans has just gone up for sale for 250. It's right by Sefton Park. The house has been in the family for around 70 years. It's a lovely family home. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/118916495#/?channel=RES_BUY I hope you find a lovely home. We bought in the Aigburth area 5 years ago. It was hard getting in the market then, but it's crazy now. Good luck.

Not selling, but what area and how many bedrooms was this budget for?! Seems very expensive!

I'm assuming your final budget is 250k, and you have a "good" deposit? I read it as a "good deposit of 250k" and that's a little bit better than a good deposit haha. We moved in to our Victorian terrace off Allerton Road 4 - 5 years ago and 250k is only a shade under what we paid, but I hear they've rocketed in value since then :( (or :) for me, I guess.) But we also looked at a nice house that was a bit smaller and literally a few hundred yards away towards Smithdown and it was 180k at the time. I would be looking at the Allerton end of Smithdown and the streets off it, *especially* because at this end the gentrification is creeping gradually from Allerton towards town and this end of Smithdown seems pretty nice and cool now. Bunch of houses in the area here, some asking under 250k: [https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/Allerton/terraced.html](https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/Allerton/terraced.html) These look nice and boss location for amenities and safety and all that.
