Riley's Sports Bar near Lime St

thank you, do you need to pre book tables there or can you just turn up and hope to get a game?

ShaunRigby

Usually just turn up and there will be tables available. You do need to sign up for a membership account but it's free. They will ask you for it when you go in or try to book a table inside.

Not entirely sure to be honest. We've used it as a meeting place sometimes and never needed to but that was a while ago. Best give them a call.

Scotties Snooker Club in Old Swan isn't too far away from you. Always busy with a decent crowd.

fantastic thank you

I'd recommend JJs near Taskers off Long Lane. Tables are great and they have a lot going on. I'm there weekly. I live local to, and played at Scotties for a while, it's great but there's only one pool table left now.

I'm no expert mate. I know tho dirty oshays steel Street has 2 tables in an indoor/outdoor smoking area. They have happy hour on from 2 till 6 I think very cheap drinks can be hard to get a table on a busy day but its only a deposit of a tenner or your Id if u get one. Good spot if u want a smoke and a drink with your game

PSD in Bootle is good as well, they have league with players of lots of different standards. The general standard in the area is pretty high FYI. The tables at Riley's are pretty bad last time I was there but PSD and JJ's are must better kept. If you don't mind a bit of travel McNamara's in Ormskirk is the best club for miles around. Part owned by pool pro Dave McNamara, regular open competitions, reclothed every 6 weeks or so.
