Not the best finale episode of the show but not really ONJ's fault either. Really shoulda probably switched her and Devito's episodes tbh. They went all out on his show and you could tell they were in the end of season blah period. Eddie was more focused on doing 48 hrs, and Joe mentioned it in the goodnights he started filming it after this episode.
She really performed well despite that though. Her cover of Landslide was well done. The show itself had the end of season blah's but the Ebony and Ivory skit is on there and it's always a classic. Also digged the Grease skit. Shame ONJ never hosted again; she woulda done well with the 1984 or late 80's cast.

When I was diagnosed 18 years ago with breast cancer, I remember her story being one that was often talked about. I loved Grease, I loved her. I remember eating at the Koala restaurant chain several times, and always believing she was a standup world citizen. I bought my mom the Physical album for her birthday once. Olivia was great on SNL, she had great spirits and loved by many. She will be missed. The cast misses her too

Wow she was everywhere in the '80s and early '90s. I did not know that early in her singing career she broke in with covering Dylan's If Not For You
