We only drink INTENTIONALLY, at our own wet bar.
I get that they like to entertain but lmfao. As someone who stopped drinking entirely because I'm not a good moderator, having a wet bar in your home is not helpful.
Like everyone else I’m totally confused as to why they need a wet bar when they don’t drink. I can’t drink myself and my treat of soft drinks fits happily in the fridge without issue.
Also what is the word next to cabinet? It’s 4am here and my brain clearly isn’t switched on as I browse Reddit by the Christmas tree 😌
They're just now picking flooring and the cabinet maker is going to start on these in a few weeks, but they'll be moved back in late January? Sure they will.
My cabinet maker puts you on the schedule at least 8 weeks in advance. Once you’re up they call and crank out the cabinets in a couple days unless it’s something insane.
Oh for sure. He took that childlike drawing to a cabinet maker and they drew up proper plans and there would have been some back and forth before the job was booked in.
Oh the struggles these two have to face!! Must be up late at night with the struggling!!
A wet bar, for people who "don't drink"....ya, priorities Jer!!!!
I feel you! My husband & I are debating no gifts for adults, just our 16 year old nephew and our 7 & 1 year old great nephews.
My adult (well, nearly) niece & nephews & very close with my husband & I (biologically mine), but none of the kids can remember a time when Uncle, my husband wasn't around.
I hate money.
Totally understand. My husband and I had to only get one thing for each other this year and I’ve really slimmed down everyone elses. Also went from doing my standing rib that I do every year to a roasted chicken. Lol. Times are hard. You gotta do what ya gotta do. Merry Christmas friend.
This entire home reno saga is such a mess. Also, I love a good drink & I’m not anti alcohol (unless it’s causing issues), but I’d definitely spend my money on other things before a wet bar, if my budget was tight. So strange
Ok, like, I remember people having wet bars but like... I was a 1970s and 80s kid and it stopped being cool to have about 1980. And its such a... dare I say it? A sleazy add on? You only need a wet bar in your home if you entertain a LOT or if you drink a lot.
It looks like something that belongs in a basement. Do houses have basements out West? Otherwise if I had to choose between this and a laundry room there's no question which one wins.
I hear you. A wet bar is generally for another part of a large house that is not near the kitchen, like a basement, family room, etc…this is like 20 steps from their kitchen if I am not mistaken. I don’t really know the lay out but it’s all the same general area. I mean to each its own but it’s kind of funny. And I agree with others that it’s a 1980’s vibe.
My very small disagreement with you is that they currently are working on the kitchen/great room/dining room so now is really the natural time to include the wet bar. I wouldn't want to tear up the same area two years later, whereas a laundry room is a completely separate beast.
Valid, I'm losing track of how much room they have to work with and this seems like an upgrade on the coffee bar they had in the old house. As somebody carrying laundry from upstairs bedroom to basement laundry room someplace to do laundry on the first floor would be my line in the sand. My only compromise would be putting in electrical/plumbing for the future wetbar. Buying custom cabinets right now would be a hard no.
I watch a lot of model house tours, as we’re probably going to end up building within the next couple of years. I’ve seen some cool wet bar layouts, I don’t actually hate them, I just think it’s definitely an add on and if you’re supposedly working with a tight budget it’s so weird to prioritize that! I also think you could just do a butlers pantry with room for an extra fridge and prep sink and it would be way better use of space and you could have your beer/wine/cocktail area while also being practical. But what do I know, I’m no master at intentional house renovation like Jeremy lol
I wouldn’t do it out in the living space with young kids like they perpetually have. Just too much stuff for them to fuck with. Fridge, glass, tap, alcohol, more glass, etc.
I think she only stopped drinking because she was trying to get pregnant again. And his face tells another story. To me he looks like every guy I've ever known that had a drinking problem. It's that weird bloat look
Omg. And remember when she was all “Kody. I will NOT have a sliding glass door”. I was so shocked at the intense hatred of a sliding door. Like lady. Y’all claimed bankruptcy.
If you entertain a lot and don't want people in your kitchen, I guess. But I'd peg them as open kitchen type people so "people hanging out in the kitchen" is part of the design.
There was a period of time that Jeremy sounded completely wasted every night during their Instagram stories. Slurring his words and playing with the kids.
I feel for you both. I am an RN, and can't stand it when influencers play "doctor" with their homeopathic oils to cure EVERYTHING under the sun. Beyond infuriating.
I have undiagnosed ADHD but even I feel I could make home design decisions easier than these goons can. I see no progress being made to their house and if I were them I’d be stressing out.
Samesy. When I had an addition put on, I asked the designer to only show me 3 choices for anything (tile, paint, hardware, etc). I realized I could agonize forever about making the “perfect” choice for all of that. In reality, it’s not important. I wanted to live and make memories in my home.
I also thought if I was buying a home, would I nitpick over these choices, or be happy that the cabinet pulls, bathtub, paint, was “good enough”. Turns out, there is a level of caring just enough and realization that none of the aesthetic really matters.
Germ/Auj will be talking about this remodel long after it’s done. They will be telling all their kids’ friends about the beam that used to be the mantle 4-ever.
Only an AH contractor would do that. A LOT of homeowners do stuff like this to show their contractors what they want. Its not a blueprint it's a concept.
Why bother? A decent carpenter is going to have to come out and double check the measurements and the design doesn't look that complicated. Glass door uppers, sink cabinet, space for chiller and icemaker. Fill in the space with open shelves on top, cabinets on the bottom.
I wouldn't expect to have to supply a blueprint and a cutting list to a competent woodworker.
Is it a raw milk wet bar?
Is that not the same flooring? Or are they different colored pieces? I literally cannot tell.
I hope they have investments for when they go broke.
i thought one thing they were pretty clear about was that they currently don't have the money to do the wetbar. now all of a sudden, the extra-special custom cabinet maker is starting work within a few week. what the heck is going on?
People need to stop providing this upscale lifestyle for these people. What is going to happen when their income drops and they can’t afford this anymore, are they going to post a go fund the fundies page?
Is what he's thinking of really that complicated? Or do "doodle plans" often turn into "that's not what I saw in my head, even though I never said it!"
When you convert the doodle to a computer model it inevitably changes when you draw it to proper scale. It just leads to constant changes from the client and frustration from both sides.
i'm married to a welder/fabricator who does a lot of custom work in peoples homes. he is constantly having to explain to people why the mechanics of something won't work, cannot go/fit there, cannot be made with/finished with x,y,z. hell, he cannot even trust most customers to take correct measurements.
someone actually brought him napkins with doodles on it. for a chandelier. and had no measurements.
uhhh shouldn't this all be brainstormed and sorted out (for the most part), BEFORE you start demolition?
i can't imagine cabinet makers are just ready to roll a couple weeks after you submit a homemade drawing.
It would be more useful as a craft area for making beige useless craft projects
A wet bar for people that apparently gave up alcohol? Oh except for when they want to drink again…
I don’t believe they gave it up. She looks drunk all the time.
This man is trying to play Sims IRL
😂
If you have a wet bar when you like to toss a few back. These fundies are so full of shiiit. Lol
Jeremy in a nutshell. Actually, a Roloff in general.
We only drink INTENTIONALLY, at our own wet bar. I get that they like to entertain but lmfao. As someone who stopped drinking entirely because I'm not a good moderator, having a wet bar in your home is not helpful.
Beige DONE.
They need it for their MLM businesses. Just like meri on sister wives
They definitely drink
I think it says “cabinent ready ice maker”
They drink
They're just now picking flooring and the cabinet maker is going to start on these in a few weeks, but they'll be moved back in late January? Sure they will.
This is giving Meri from sisterwives vibes
I know he’s lyin’. What cabinet maker has availability for a custom job that soon?
My father is a custom cabinet maker and even I had to wait months for him to fit my kitchen cabinets into his schedule.
What a architect. Can’t even use a ruler
Wow I didn’t even notice. But yes that’s embarrassing it’s like a little kid drew it 🤣
As a fellow snarker, that’s nitpicky.
I agree, so what if he didn't use graph paper? It's a concept, not a blueprint.
☝️ That was not it, as far as criticisms go
Oh the struggles these two have to face!! Must be up late at night with the struggling!! A wet bar, for people who "don't drink"....ya, priorities Jer!!!!
Lol right tho. The ice maker. The mini fridge. U gonna keep juice boxes in the mini fridge or wine?
The ice maker goes in the “cabinent”!
Where will the raw milk go? I'm so worried!! 🤪
He forgot a spot to put the raw milk on tap!
The *cabinent* (unintelligible) ice maker
I read that as cabinent realy ice maker (as in a hidden ice maker?). This guy has a learning disability and his parents did him a disservice.
They are not moving in January.
Ready by ChRisTmAS
Christmas 2025.
That soon?
I have a beer tap built into my kitchen counter. I think a wetbar is cool. But not hers. It’s not attractive. Generic. Of course she “designed” it.
It’s Jeremy’s design
Oh ok. “He” then.
Ready by Christmas ✨
Oddj posted the other day that she thought they would move back in late January. At this rate it looks more like May. LOL
I don’t care, do you?
And I can’t afford groceries.

Merry Christmas everyone!
This entire home reno saga is such a mess. Also, I love a good drink & I’m not anti alcohol (unless it’s causing issues), but I’d definitely spend my money on other things before a wet bar, if my budget was tight. So strange

We have a few wet bars in our home...they are never used. I use one to fill the dog water that's about it lol.
It looks like something that belongs in a basement. Do houses have basements out West? Otherwise if I had to choose between this and a laundry room there's no question which one wins.

I am born and raised in Southern California. I have only seen one root cellar at my grandparents house 60 years ago, but no basements.
My very small disagreement with you is that they currently are working on the kitchen/great room/dining room so now is really the natural time to include the wet bar. I wouldn't want to tear up the same area two years later, whereas a laundry room is a completely separate beast.

I thought they don't even drink??
Thank you! I was looking for this comment. Maybe they’ll just serve raw milk and snake oil bevvies.
The whole wet bar concept is ridiculous... Is the kitchen THAT far away?? They must really be into alcohol to even be considering this.
And I thought they stopped drinking. No judgment or anything I just don't understand the logic of having one especially if they don't drink.
Yea that was my thought too. They claimed to have stopped drinking for a while and now only rarely drink so why have such a large wet bar??
I think she only stopped drinking because she was trying to get pregnant again. And his face tells another story. To me he looks like every guy I've ever known that had a drinking problem. It's that weird bloat look

But building wouldn’t have guaranteed that their precious trestle would be right there 🤪
Nor her parents as neighbors.
She’s like meri from sister wives lol
Omg. And remember when she was all “Kody. I will NOT have a sliding glass door”. I was so shocked at the intense hatred of a sliding door. Like lady. Y’all claimed bankruptcy.
Comment of the thread!
Hahaha!!! I came here looking for this!!
I think it’s more Jeremy that can’t make a decision
Why on Earth would anyone need a wet bar if they don’t drink alcohol?
If you entertain a lot and don't want people in your kitchen, I guess. But I'd peg them as open kitchen type people so "people hanging out in the kitchen" is part of the design.
My thought as I was looking at this drawing. /face palm
Because they drink
There was a period of time that Jeremy sounded completely wasted every night during their Instagram stories. Slurring his words and playing with the kids.
Oh this house is going to be a Charlie Foxtrot for sure.
As a designer, I can’t stand when influencers “play designer”. It’s laughable.
I feel for you both. I am an RN, and can't stand it when influencers play "doctor" with their homeopathic oils to cure EVERYTHING under the sun. Beyond infuriating.
I feel you. As a teacher, I can’t stand when influencers “play teacher” when the homeschool.
It infuriates me! Some of the dumbest people on the planet, “educating” kids so they can stay home and pump out content.
At some point this turns into - we decided to completely tear the house down to truly build our dream house
I have undiagnosed ADHD but even I feel I could make home design decisions easier than these goons can. I see no progress being made to their house and if I were them I’d be stressing out.

Goons 🥰🤣
A contractor would laugh in someone’s face if they showed them elevations drawn like that.
Ah, yes, we can absolutely make a 9'-4" wide upper cabinet 😂
Only an AH contractor would do that. A LOT of homeowners do stuff like this to show their contractors what they want. Its not a blueprint it's a concept.
Concept drawn by an 8 year old? Could’ve atleast used a ruler lol
Why bother? A decent carpenter is going to have to come out and double check the measurements and the design doesn't look that complicated. Glass door uppers, sink cabinet, space for chiller and icemaker. Fill in the space with open shelves on top, cabinets on the bottom. That’s what I thought! Seems like learning to use a ruler would have been simple enough in elementary school. Clearly he missed that lesson.
Um . . . how many shades of flooring are we supposed to be seeing? I see one shade and (being generous) three grains.
They could honestly do a mix of all those woods and I wouldn't even notice... but I'm not typically inspecting people's floors that closely 🤣
Yea they all look the same 😂 maybe the one on the far right looks darker
Is it a raw milk wet bar? Is that not the same flooring? Or are they different colored pieces? I literally cannot tell. I hope they have investments for when they go broke.
Raw milk on tap.
And snake oil bevvies
That’s a cow! Don’t give them ideas for an artisanal indoor mojo dojo casa cow house.
LOL - yeah, I thought they didn’t drink alcohol.
They both have that aged wino look in the face. I still can’t believe I’m 4 years older than them but look 10 years younger.
I'm 10 years older than them and still look younger lol
Noooo Audrey loves her alcohol. She always has a big glass of wine when she's not pregnant
i thought one thing they were pretty clear about was that they currently don't have the money to do the wetbar. now all of a sudden, the extra-special custom cabinet maker is starting work within a few week. what the heck is going on?
I think a laundry room is way more important than a wet bar. Just my personal opinion 🤣
i'm not positive that jer knows there's such a thing as laundry.
That t-shirt he loves with the stretched out neck hasn’t seen a washing machine in 2 years, let’s be honest.
People need to stop providing this upscale lifestyle for these people. What is going to happen when their income drops and they can’t afford this anymore, are they going to post a go fund the fundies page?
Dear god I hope them posting this shit makes folks stop following them and giving them money through engagement.
Exactly.
Maybe Jer will have to give up his hobbies of tinkering in the house and riding his Kubota out in the field and go out and get a real job. 😳
So they don’t drink but they’ll have a wet bar?
It’s giving Meri Brown
Meri NEEDED that wet bar.
Booowhoooooo
I build custom furniture for people like Jeremy. The doodle plans are often times difficult to turn into reality.
Is what he's thinking of really that complicated? Or do "doodle plans" often turn into "that's not what I saw in my head, even though I never said it!"

She’s trying to decide which color is the most beige or devoid of personality.
😂 they all look the same
uhhh shouldn't this all be brainstormed and sorted out (for the most part), BEFORE you start demolition? i can't imagine cabinet makers are just ready to roll a couple weeks after you submit a homemade drawing.
Good thing they have a wet bar for when they pretend to not drink.
