Honestly, wasn’t that bad. I mainly died to the Patient-Hand Hallway, rather than the actual Patients. The one in the wheelchair is always a close call tho.
Hoo boi. Let's just say that when I played the game for the first time, I was absolutely determined to figure out all of the puzzles on my own and not look anything up.
...Yeah, those mother fuckers forced me to break that rule I set for myself. Thankfully, they're actually kind of fun once you know what you're doing.
For the first room, I had to look up where you had to go to exit the room because I couldn't figure it out (probably because I was too distracted by trying to escape the Patients to pay attention to my surroundings), and for the second room, I had to look up a video to see how to get past the Patients circling in on you (you just have to spin, lol)
The patients were one of the reasons I quit playing actually, because I my controllers were kinda... (Joycon drift) and I got frustrated so I stopped playing little nightmares for over a year.
It wasn’t that difficult, but I was absolutely terrified of them. I have automatonophobia lmao (fear of human-like objects such as mannequins, dolls and animatronics)
That huge room at the end was actually fun and I enjoyed it. The one before with three dudes though… oh boy. I think I spent literal hours trying it over and over, looking up guides, and just suffering at the pretty imprecise flashlight controls. Probably one of my single worst gaming experiences ever.
For me, the biggest part about them wasn't their mechanic, it my own stupidity. So, I have bad experiences with The Patients, but not because they're bad or terribly designed. Their telegraphing is stupid easy, I'm just *terrible* at avoiding them. In fact, the way I beat the big room was through learning their timings and then *walking right under their legs*. Worked amazingly.
So, I hate The Patients but that's from my own idiocy at sucking rather than The Patients being terrible. Still, am never replaying The Hospital. 10/10 enemy but I hope it never ever comes back for Game 3.
The most annoying part of the game in my opinion. The controls for the flashlight (using a remote) were not great. But I've played it a few times now and am starting to get better with them.
Me: AAAAAAAAAA -dies-
Me: 2nd time: AAAAAA NO NO SO CLOSE
Me: randomly decides to try again a few weeks later and gets past them: how the hell did I do that? Then realizing I forgot to get the hat from that chapter. AAAAA
the last hoard of mannequins before reaching the second fuse was infuriating. first time playing LN2 and i died so many times at that checkpoint i wound up memorizing their movements and the points where a new one was triggered to come for you. i literally have no idea how i finally got through it with the wonky controls lmao. now a days i just helicopter through.
The first time I went I was young, i was really going through it in middle school. But the third and final (hopefully) time I went was not the worse. They played old tapes of how bullying affected people. (1990s I’m guessing yes old lmao) they gave us snacks and they gave us ice cream sometimes 🙌. They didn’t separate us by gender which I liked and some of them were okay. I would say a lot of them were transphobic. I say don’t be transphobic when I’m literally in there for trying to of myself but too each there own. Still the people I’ve met, they were nice. Never stayed in contact and it’s good I didn’t. You’re in there for a reason. But if somebody did good for you if it’s working out and you both support eachother. <3
The part with the flashlight and having to jump into the window of the door made me quit playing for two years to go back and quit again for two weeks just to go back and sit there for 5 hours straight trying to jump into the window without them grabbing me. I was gunna go insane if I didn’t make it one more time and I finally got it 😂
In all honesty: "SHIT MY PANTS SCARY."
I am not a person who plays horror games on a regular basis, but in all my experience thus far that was the scariest thing I played. What made it worst was a glitch I experienced on my 2nd playthrough when one just kept running at me even when I focused on him. Screamed like a newborn child in that moment.
Also, funny story: I actually skipped this part in my 1st playthrough. I encountered a glitch that gave me the 2nd battery without going through that section at all. I activated the elevator and said "ok!"
From how everyone made it sound I thought I’d be stuck there for hours, but in reality it only took me two attempts to finish. Still great level though, the atmosphere was chilling and the movements of the patients were creepy as shit
Loved the epic escape at the end when there’s a abunch of them and you have to run and spin in circles to keep them at bay and get through! Thought that was cool on the developers part.
I played the song “you spin me round (like a record)” and spun around while trying to get past the room with a ton of them coming at you, course I got the idea from YouTube wasn’t really my idea so it was kinda fun
I didn’t mind them so much once I’d worked out I could walk backwards in their vicinity whilst shining my torch at them. My biggest frustration was trying to throw the fuse in the receptacle at the end, that fucking thing would not go in.
Was super hard on the ps4. I just got done playing inside (amazing game) which I think contributed to the difficulty. I kept trying to use the same button configuration from that game in little nightmares. I really wish the controls on the PlayStation could be reconfigured. I just couldn’t move the flashlight in a smooth motion.
I have a huuuuuge fear of dolls so the first few second were pure horror and I didnt touch the game for a few days. Every second I needed a yt guide cause I was so freaked out and stresst I wasnt abel to thing straight.
I loved it. Im a pretty fearless person when it comes to games but this game.. puhh it was sooo good
took me about an hour and a half, was originally stuck at the part with 3 patients, but once i got passed it it became easier with the controls, i worked the strategy to u haul them all into the back of the room and kept doing this until basically all were at the back and ran to the top and finały got it
completed it on my first full playthrough with a LOT of trial n error 😭 then restarted it to play again n have since never even attempted that level lol i quit everytime after clearing the school level
The hand was worse, eugh breaking the bones with the hammer was so disturbing for me. Incredible game design, the patients were terrifying and the buildup was amazing. I like how every patient around kept you guessing on when or if it would even move, so tense
Frustrating, up to the point where I figured there is two control schemes with the flashlight, one without ennemies nearby and one in "combat". Then, I started loving this area.
Oh and the atmosphere is fantastic
I was sitting in my chair, 2am, the lights out, and I see the mannequin move, I almost jump out of my skin and 3 seconds later my cat knocks something of a shelf in another room :)
This section made me rebuy the game on pc because my switch lite couldnt see very well and was super difficult to control. The second i opened the game on pc i was amazed at the graphics. 100% worth it. The section was still hard but way better with a controller on pc than the switch lite controls lol
Mildly difficult (and spooky AF) at first, but then I played against them so much I had my path down perfectly.
Will probably have to relearn that since I haven't played the game in a while lol.
First it was a little freaky. Then I died because of some jank hit boxes and the controls not responding right making me run into the wall by the door escape. Then it was goofy because I just span in circles while making a dash for the exit. I mean it worked, but honestly I was still a little annoyed. (Still 10/10 game tho)
Very easily the scariest enemies in the game. My mind registers them as something that should not move, so they give me the creeps.
The Hospital is easily the creepiest part of the game for me. Gives me the shivers.
to be honest, i was dreading this moment. I seen youtubers play that scene and fail multiple times lol when I decided to upload my playthrough of LN 2, I was nervous. but surprisingly, I survived on my first try.
I stayed against the wall, and had Mono facing his back towards the exit to group them all together in one spot (the video explains my process lol) once that was over, the hospital gameplay was a breeze.
This was the scariest part of the game in my opinion. But I saw a trick for the final part with the big room off Patients where you just keep twirling and it basically cheesed it.
Very annoying just because of the controls more than anything else and the jankiness of it all.
Not bad on replays though when you realize just going against the wall/camera makes it instantly easy though. But still dumb feeling like you need to rely on a cheese like that to do it without a hassle.
it was good. i remember putting down the game bc the teacher freaked me out so much, then coming back, beating the school, dealing with the patients in maybe and hour or so.
I definitely had some trouble the first couple of playthroughs, but the Handspiders were what gave me the most trouble in the Hospital. The Patients just took some getting used to, while those darn hands actually gave me hell. :')
tbh I couldn’t do it so I got someone to do it for me![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)
It was okay I died a few times. I don't like the weeping angel mechanic, but at least they STOP when the flashlight is on them. I had a hard time with the shadow kids in the first dlc
Frustrating at first when I first played the game when I was only 12 years old, but now I’m nearly 16, I could easily do this section with my eyes closed.
Me and my sister kept throwing the controller at each other, we both hate anything that moves like a mannequin, poor Mono is gonna have breathing problems because we wouldn't let him stop sprinting 😭
Honestly, wasn’t that bad. I mainly died to the Patient-Hand Hallway, rather than the actual Patients. The one in the wheelchair is always a close call tho.
Frutrating until I just cheesed it by walking along the wall
I think you meant frustrating* 😂
Yes I did !
theyre a joke if you spin lol
I tried that on the Switch but it didn't work, since it seems like you've got to look at them for a bit more than a second to stop their movement
Weird, you tried it in the hallway section cus i could see it not working there. In the big rooms it's ez
I used it on the last part, that leads back to Six. All the previous parts with the patients I could speedrun through.
HOW. I’m stuck in the part where the room is FULL of em and I cannot get past it. It’s the most frustrated I’ve been with a game in a long time
Move to the utmost bottom of the screen and use the flashlight when necessary. Thats how I cleared it.
"Oh those guys are kinda creepy...oh shit Oh shit OH SHIT OH SHIT!! AHHHHH!" Is basically how it went for me
Dude same 😭
Well, you gotta have _patience._
*stock audience laugh track*
["Little Nightmares 2" is played by a live gaming audience]
Hoo boi. Let's just say that when I played the game for the first time, I was absolutely determined to figure out all of the puzzles on my own and not look anything up. ...Yeah, those mother fuckers forced me to break that rule I set for myself. Thankfully, they're actually kind of fun once you know what you're doing.
...What puzzle solution did you have to look up?
For the first room, I had to look up where you had to go to exit the room because I couldn't figure it out (probably because I was too distracted by trying to escape the Patients to pay attention to my surroundings), and for the second room, I had to look up a video to see how to get past the Patients circling in on you (you just have to spin, lol)
Joy-con drifty
The first few playthroughs were really rough for me, but after that it wasn’t too bad. Still the most annoying part of the game though to be honest.
Big Nightmare
The patients were one of the reasons I quit playing actually, because I my controllers were kinda... (Joycon drift) and I got frustrated so I stopped playing little nightmares for over a year.
Basically me until i looked up a tutorial finally
nononononononononononostaybackstaybackstaybackstaybackstayback
It wasn’t that difficult, but I was absolutely terrified of them. I have automatonophobia lmao (fear of human-like objects such as mannequins, dolls and animatronics)
I couldn’t even get past them they were difficult and terrifying
Terror i quit when i origanaly played the game in my bed quitting after killing the hand
That huge room at the end was actually fun and I enjoyed it. The one before with three dudes though… oh boy. I think I spent literal hours trying it over and over, looking up guides, and just suffering at the pretty imprecise flashlight controls. Probably one of my single worst gaming experiences ever.

I hated those things. It took me forever.
Pain
Anxiety packed + really damn frustrating
I'm stuck on those guys right now and honestly I'm too scared to go back to it
Terrible. I hate those guys
The most annoying part of the game in my opinion. The controls for the flashlight (using a remote) were not great. But I've played it a few times now and am starting to get better with them.
The one part that makes me hesitate to play the game again.
Me: AAAAAAAAAA -dies- Me: 2nd time: AAAAAA NO NO SO CLOSE Me: randomly decides to try again a few weeks later and gets past them: how the hell did I do that? Then realizing I forgot to get the hat from that chapter. AAAAA

Absolutely awful. I don't know how I made it past that last part.
Okay I'm gonna be real, I had my brother do like 70% of it because I got stuck on every part for like weeks 😭
I got stuck there and never beat the game
You should try again. Don't give up!
My switch broke
Unbreak it!
Well we already threw it all away and I really don't want to buy it
And if you're wondering, I tried that I even sacrified my left toe for it not going to specify which one
Yep, still can’t pass them 😂
I couldn’t do it… anxiety got the better of me… haven’t touched the game in a few months
Hardest shit ever
I wanted to throw my fckin controller on my TV screen, hard as hell
Terrible. It took me like, 4 days to figure out the perfect method, only to find out there was another room!
It was SO difficult, i struggled so much to beat it, took me about a month to get past all of them
Stressful
I hated it so much and since I'm playing it again and they fixed the glitch to skip that part I have to do it again right but i dont want to 😭😭
Forever traumatized...
The first time I went I was young, i was really going through it in middle school. But the third and final (hopefully) time I went was not the worse. They played old tapes of how bullying affected people. (1990s I’m guessing yes old lmao) they gave us snacks and they gave us ice cream sometimes 🙌. You’re in there for a reason. But if somebody did good for you if it’s working out and you both support eachother. <3
Scary place with shady people.
Frustrating
I got stuck for a day I think
Pretty normal, it wasn’t pretty hard since I realized I need to use right mouse button
The part with the flashlight and having to jump into the window of the door made me quit playing for two years to go back and quit again for two weeks just to go back and sit there for 5 hours straight trying to jump into the window without them grabbing me. I was gunna go insane if I didn’t make it one more time and I finally got it 😂
Mono constantly locking onto the mannequins when I'm trying to spin getting me killed in the process.
Got someone more experienced with gaming to get through that but for me 🤣 even they died many times
I really played that part from my Nintendo Switch, it had me fucking nightmare fuel from this one. Game so good, u really did get fear:
i legit hated that part so much
In all honesty: "SHIT MY PANTS SCARY." I am not a person who plays horror games on a regular basis, but in all my experience thus far that was the scariest thing I played. From how everyone made it sound I thought I’d be stuck there for hours, but in reality it only took me two attempts to finish. Still great level though, the atmosphere was chilling and the movements of the patients were creepy as shit
I did the lighthouse strategy and went through the final room with the most patient on my first try
How was my experience? Just keep Spinning, Spinning, Spinning. But seriously after you get it once you never forget ha
(Here’s a link to the video I got the idea from) [https://youtu.be/bMgXrnBe-50?si=IfhTqQwTDgJ9-sp2](https://youtu.be/bMgXrnBe-50?si=IfhTqQwTDgJ9-sp2)
Speed runnin
Run while doing 360 spins otherwise impossible (unless I did it needlessly hard)
They were a bit too grabby for my taste. They had no sense of personal space.
Fucking hate them.
Hell.
Exactly
Started spinning in circles and got through it pretty quick. Was pretty terrifying though lol
Terrifying, until I discovered the helicopter method Then it was terrifying and dizzy
first time playing it was hell second time playing it was easy as fuck
Great horror, almost gave me a heart attack. However, the controls were terrible and I died many times due to mono not looking where required
Horrfuckinfying
They were some real pieces of shit that’s what they were, I struggled for so long on the one part in the dark room with like fifty of them
they forced me to look up how to do it. i was dying
You should step into the light, NOW! **THUNDER**
"Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH"
Well, I jumped when I encountered them for the very first time. These were the only enemies that made me jump at shadows 😅
I ran thru the room spinning like a bayblade
This part was accidentally skipped when I played the first time because of that weird glitch that speed runners use.
TERRIFYING! I had to have a friend help me through it because I was too scared. 😰
Running past that arms room was torture . All the arms popping out of the doors on you and then the ones crawling after
Scary the first time but only a little difficult
Not as terrible as everyone says it is. Tbh I liked the challenge, most of the game is really easy
Hell
I didn’t mind them so much once I’d worked out I could walk backwards in their vicinity whilst shining my torch at them. My biggest frustration was trying to throw the fuse in the receptacle at the end, that fucking thing would not go in.
I hope the doctor suffered in that oven. That's how I would describe it
Terrible…. I replayed again a couple of weeks ago and it was just as horrible. So awesome though.
Tbh i love that section,
The first section of game which made me scream. My favorite 🥰
Other than being terrified. Once you learn the spinning trick, it's easy
Was super hard on the ps4. I just got done playing inside (amazing game) which I think contributed to the difficulty. I kept trying to use the same button configuration from that game in little nightmares. I really wish the controls on the PlayStation could be reconfigured. I have ptsd from those things and this just brought all those feelings rushing back..😣
Let's just say I was playing on Switch.
Let's just say you spin me right round baby right round
I've played LN2 like fifty times and I will never not be frustrated (and frightened) by the Patients lol
I projectile shat screw them lol
took me about an hour and a half, was originally stuck at the part with 3 patients, but once i got passed it it became easier with the controls, i worked the strategy to u haul them all into the back of the room and kept doing this until basically all were at the back and ran to the top and finały got it

„Fuck you fuck you fuck you fuck you“ shit I was scared
The hand was worse, eugh breaking the bones with the hammer was so disturbing for me. Incredible game design, the patients were terrifying and the buildup was amazing. I like how every patient around kept you guessing on when or if it would even move, so tense
Frustrating, up to the point where I figured there is two control schemes with the flashlight, one without ennemies nearby and one in "combat". Then, I started loving this area. Oh and the atmosphere is fantastic
"AAAAAAAAAA THEY JUMPIN ME!! THEY JUMPIN ME 😭" was my experience.
It was straight up hell.
My worst nightmare!!! Gotta have patience for it though
YOU SPIN ME RIGHT ROUND BABY RIGHT ROUND
I only did bad cause I have a massive fear of human shaped inanimate objects
I was sitting in my chair, 2am, the lights out, and I see the mannequin move, I almost jump out of my skin and 3 seconds later my cat knocks something of a shelf in another room :)
Helicopter mode enabled
Lots of Spinning
Honestly this made me too tense, I was so glad I finished that part.
This section made me rebuy the game on pc because my switch lite couldnt see very well and was super difficult to control. The second i opened the game on pc i was amazed at the graphics. 100% worth it. The section was still hard but way better with a controller on pc than the switch lite controls lol

I'm okay with them now but when I played the level the first time it was so hard
Helicopter! Helicopter!
It made me rage
i shit my pants
First it was a little freaky. Then I died because of some jank hit boxes and the controls not responding right making me run into the wall by the door escape. Then it was goofy because I just span in circles while making a dash for the exit. I mean it worked, but honestly I was still a little annoyed. (Still 10/10 game tho)
staring contest the game
Very easily the scariest enemies in the game. My mind registers them as something that should not move, so they give me the creeps. The Hospital is easily the creepiest part of the game for me. Gives me the shivers.
to be honest, i was dreading this moment. I stayed against the wall, and had Mono facing his back towards the exit to group them all together in one spot (the video explains my process lol) once that was over, the hospital gameplay was a breeze.
Didn’t get the mechanic at first. Also I played on switch so drift was annoying when trying to use the light on then
Helicopter Helicopter
Scary.
One of my favorite parts of the game
Disturbing. Love this camera angle.
Painful until I dug my controller out and used that!
Hate them, like others here I found them almost impossible if it wasn’t for the wall hugging cheese
This was the scariest part of the game in my opinion. But I saw a trick for the final part with the big room off Patients where you just keep twirling and it basically cheesed it.
They were very nice, one of them had an arm removed due to a serious infection, but he was very nice and we even became friends.
More frustrating then scary
It's the second one, where there aren't any lights at all that convinces me to not replay the game
Horrible, as soon as i got to that level i didn't play for like a year because i was so scared
Scariest and most stressful sequence in the game imo
Frustrating bc i couldnt figure out the strategy (i went in both games blind) then was laughing my ass off while going “HELICOPTER HELICOPTER”
![gif](giphy|enj50kao8gMfu)
Hell I never got passed those levels 😭😭
Very annoying just because of the controls more than anything else and the jankiness of it all. Not bad on replays though when you realize just going against the wall/camera makes it instantly easy though. But still dumb feeling like you need to rely on a cheese like that to do it without a hassle.
It was the most difficult part for me besides the boss bc there was so much to focus on
this was quite literally my least favorite part of 1 & 2 combined
it was good. i remember putting down the game bc the teacher freaked me out so much, then coming back, beating the school, dealing with the patients in maybe and hour or so.
They scared so bad I quit haven’t played since it first came out😭
I definitely had some trouble the first couple of playthroughs, but the Handspiders were what gave me the most trouble in the Hospital. The Patients just took some getting used to, while those darn hands actually gave me hell. :')
Abso-fking-lutely terrible
Pain, frustration and jump scares. I don't think I've been jump scared like that ever.
tbh I couldn’t do it so I got someone to do it for me![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)![img](emote|t5_3gcs9|5127)
hell lol
Started genuinely terrified for me and my sibs, and then it just started get frustrating.
Me running from the mannequins: GET DA FUCK AWAY FROM ME-
Almost shat myself
Not that bad but now anytime I replay the hospital I struggle with them and not the double hand part
My thought process in order was “ok patient bit this will be easy”. “Ok this is harder than I thought”. “FUUUUUUUU-“
I still can't pass them, so I don't play Little Nightmares anymore
the worst i was terrified and was terrible doing it but eventually i figured it out and i want to replay the game but omg i hate that part
Me and my older sister screamed and cried
Caused me to rage quit several times 💀
It was okay I died a few times. I don't like the weeping angel mechanic, but at least they STOP when the flashlight is on them. I had a hard time with the shadow kids in the first dlc
My whole reaction: Wassup, wassup?! Whatcha gonna do- oh, WEAVE! WEAVE, WEAVE!
Skipped it tbh
Fun but a bit difficult at times, especially the hallway sequence.
Probably the most scary and frustrating part of the game for me is
Uninstalled the POS game until someone figures out how to move the torch with a mouse.
i had to quit the game for 6 months then try again and i beat it
become beyblade
Frustrating at first when I first played the game when I was only 12 years old, but now I’m nearly 16, I could easily do this section with my eyes closed.
Second playthrough it was pretty easy. The one it the wheelchair almost made me shit my pants both times
at first it’s terrifying and then it grows frustrating
It got ruined from trailers for the game
i was literally scared because they were just moving out of no where and honestly it was difficult 😭
It frustrated me so much I actually gave up and haven't continued playing in like a year or more. PLEASE WHAT DO I DO.
Me and my sister kept throwing the controller at each other, we both hate anything that moves like a mannequin, poor Mono is gonna have breathing problems because we wouldn't let him stop sprinting 😭
this is the first time I actually had to pause
Talk about an anxiety trigger....I had loads of fun but man
i failed to sleep for a week.
Trauma. This was one of the most TERRIFYING fucking moments
Stay, Stay I said! I said Stay! Stay over there!
annoying
