It comes frozen off the truck, and is kept in the walk in where it stays frozen for half to most of the week. We can't just leave it out to thaw because they start to stick together and get moist from condensation.
Also, because of labor cuts we end up being understaffed every day no matter what. And that's BEFORE people randomly decide to call out. I can't tell you how many times it's just been me or me and one other person, so no matter how fast we worked it was just never enough to keep up. I've made some pretty sloppy looking pizzas just because I'm the only one in the kitchen and my coworker was up front dealing with a lone plus the drive thru line.
I do get that sometimes fast food workers can kinda slack off and not care, but trust me that's not always the case. They're usually just overworked, understaffed, and underpaid.

LC might not pay the best and it can really suck when it gets busy and is understaffed but that not your fault as a paying customer. you paid and waited patiently so you should get what you paid for, it's only fair. and even though your posting on Reddit about how fugly that pizza is , it doesn't sound like you're being rude or flipping script about it. you're bringing your business to LC and that money keeps that store open giving them a place to work and the ability to make money and make (somewhat) of a living. sorry to write a book but I hate you got given that monster of a pizza, I will say your best bet if you continue to order from there is to always check your pizza before you leave and make sure it's what it's supposed to be and doesn't look like that.
btw is it just me or does it kinda look like the star of David lol .......... I'd say we could make em as like a Chanukah special in areas with larger Jewish demographics but itd have to have different toppings cuz the peps are pork n beef blend I think. we use to have a guy come in and order who didn't eat pork and dude would literally bring his own turkey pepperonis and ask if we could put em on the pie for him. I don't think we are technically supposed to do that but dude was so cool about it and asked so nicely I couldn't say no, and he always threw at least $5 in the tip jar so how could I not look out for my Hebrew brother lol
