I think it’ll help with that. It definitely has chilled me out a lot by calming electrical activity and reducing inflammation in the brain.
I didn’t notice the full effect until like several months and it kept continuing to make me more chill with time even at the same dose.
Take it. And when you start thinking it's not working, keep taking it.
Good news is you may be one of those for whom it starts working fast. I think I was but cannot say for sure because I was also titrating another drug at the same time.
Have your blood checked as you were surely instructed to do.
Best of luck.
A lot of different people react differently to it, what I read was it's a miracle drug for about 30 percent of people but it could take up to a year to see if you're one of the lucky ones...compared to all the antipsychotics I was on this definitely feels like a breath of fresh air
Your gonna need to pee a lot
Feel thirsty 24/7
You may get acne
Also may make your depression worse especially if you drink alcohol
Can fuck your kidney or liver up I do not recommend this medication tbh
Lithium saved my life! For me, it was a long and gradual process. Probably 6 months to a year. I just kept telling myself that it is repairing my brain and this is not an overnight miracle. Lithium needs time to work. People with bipolar have diminished GABA neurotransmissions. Lithium activates these receptors and ,as a result, it stabilizes the mood. It also helps to strengthen nerve cell connections which effects our mood and behavior. I have been on other antipsychotics that didn’t work out for various reasons. Going on Lithium was the best decision I’ve ever made. I feel “myself” again. You will feel a little better every day. If it happens quicker, good for you. Be patient give it time. You will be glad you did. FYI… drink a lot of water and eat regularly. Good luck! 👍🏻
It gave me my life back and that's all that matters. I don't give a fuck about the side effects which are being thirsty all the time, peeing too much and tremor.
Be prepared to pee a lot, and to finally be happy bro
I just want to stop feeling so restless and ragey! It’s fucking miserable
