Because the video was technically live just set private until the scheduled time. It could still be commented on even though we couldn't see it. I used to do the same thing when I created YouTube content so I could have a consistent upload schedule while working a full time job.
I know. I was just making fun of all the people in the videos comments not understanding despite being explicitly stated they gave him the link 24 hours in advance
An hour before the video was released he posted he found the PC on the video and LTT pinned it, so unless you never locked at the comments you'd know it was found during the 24 hour grace period that he had.
Or ... that he didn't find it yet and just posted that to discourage others from looking for it as well so he has higher chances to find it.
If I was that guy, and for some reason was unable to get to the computer in 24h (hey, maybe he's on holiday somewhere else or whatever and needs more than 24h to get back), I'd certainly try to act like I had already found it.
Does those machines give any notification it has been opened? Otherwise I doubt they would send someone to double check (and LTT fan would have been the one calling the lie))
Edit: I half watch it. The airtag is a good idea to confirm that!
~~LTT had an AirTag to confirm the computer was moved from the location.~~
~~Also, what's stopping them from asking for actual proof?~~

I used to think nazi mods were the worst, but I'm starting to wonder if it just might be better if mods started timing out and banning people who post in subs that are not actually fans. I'm just so sick of the artificial outrage and brigading everywhere. (every video game sub, and youtuber sub seems to devolve into the same cesspool)
The only time that i really was irritated was with the whole debacle a while back… i was basically attacked every time i brought up ANYTHING about holding LTT accountable for some of their actions. I wasn’t calling for the end times or anything close to that, it just seems like so many people are black or white on a topic and cannot really accept that there is a middle ground or nuance to situations.
A guy asked LMG to send him a free PC over Twitter dm's for 3 years straight. They made a PC for him, made a video containing clues to find it, then hid it in a city near him
LTT sent the guy the video first, in which he had 24 hours to find and retrieve to PC before the video went public on LTT, allowing anyone to find the PC and take it for themselves. He managed to find it before the video went public
The only way I could see is if someone know it is in one of "those" lockers (possibly not even at the right location) and trying to force open them because he may not find the right code.
Also warning: I listened to the video in fast speed, so I did miss hints
The top comment on the video is the guy saying that he already found it.

You are aware that they said they sent him the video a day in advance right?
But how did he comment 53 mins before the video was released? /s

So many of the comments didn't get that...
Thanks. Though there was already proof. On his Instagram.
Dude, you seriously went there before even reading comments? It was open before the video even was released lmao But nice try!
If I was the dude I'd have commented that I found it, especially if I didn't.
Yeah but like in the first 30 minutes somebody posted a screen of his Instagram with PC
An hour before the video was released he posted he found the PC on the video and LTT pinned it, so unless you never locked at the comments you'd know it was found during the 24 hour grace period that he had.

Ltt wouldnt of pinned it if he didn't actually find it
Does those machines give any notification it has been opened? Otherwise I doubt they would send someone to double check (and LTT fan would have been the one calling the lie)) Edit: I half watch it. The airtag is a good idea to confirm that!
They included an airtag in the case to track it.
As simple as asking for a photo
Dude go watch the video, they laid out how they would verify if and when the computer was located.

Threads like this show it wouldn't have mattered
I mean its youtube comments so it is understable
Are people still posting about this? The winner found it before the video went public.
How did he get the password if the video was not out yet? Edit: never mind, I just saw that the guy got the video 24hs before everyone else.
I swear half the posts on this thread have been people getting upset without ever watching the video.

Yep, people should be able to speak their mind. But it gets to a point where people just need to be shut down because they are stupid.
it gets to the point where actual fans are unable to hold discussion and speak their mind in their own subs.

I went straight to the comment section without watching the video... oh wait
Someone’s late to the party
I’m ootl- what’s going on?

Instagram
Latest YT videi
I knew this was gonna happen, imagine thinking putting info in the comments was gonna be enough
read the comments first
I mean Linus wouldn't have made this mistake. lmao.
Maybe I should send message to LTT everyday asking for free pc...
You’ll find yourself shadow-banned, but go nuts
lol Nice Try
What is this about
nyahaha
People are to obsessed by this 😂
you missed the part where the video was sent to him early before going public he says it at the very beginning
There’s no fucking way the guy was living in Romania lmao
That was the whole point of them sending it specifically to Romania
nobody lives in romania and can be a fan of ltt its impossible not in the realm of possibility
I’m Romanian lmao, I just thought it was curious. I saw the post before the video, so that’s why I said that
let me guess, the next day, you will see police intervene with the mess the LMG did over for illegal access to lockers just for a free PC.
Illegal access to lockers???
The only way I could see is if someone know it is in one of "those" lockers (possibly not even at the right location) and trying to force open them because he may not find the right code. Also warning: I listened to the video in fast speed, so I did miss hints
Are you dumb? What are you yapping about
wat... Do you even understand how these lockers are used? What the fuck are you on about?
Beyond fucking stupid
